7.1.2 FRP Problem - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys!
I have next problem:
My sister had factory reset her device, and she forgot her google account, which were used for this smartphone.
Now, when we try to start the phone with different account, we are facing FRP, and we can't use the phone.
As it appeared USD Debbuging and Bootloader are locked. Firmware: 7.1.2 (N2G47Z, Jul 2017)
May someone guide me how to start this device?
Thank you in advance!

There is no way to bypass or remove FRP. Your best bet is to contact your carrier.

I did remove FRP from 5X August security patch, I can try to help you... Do you have telegram, so that we can chat?

That's wrong!, I did remove FRP on my 7.1.2 through the help of these guys https://www.facebook.com/giaiphapandroid
They connected to my pc via teamspeak and you connect your phone to it. They use Lg flashing software I belive to completely reset the phone to stock. Had to pay 20 US dollars, I was very skeptical at first but heard they were legit.

is possible to bypass that, i did it few days ago
this is the easiest way if you have the 32gb version
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/help/req-help-to-unbrick-t3251740
if not you need to find the TOT file.

Not iff the unlock tool is by ASUS... Their tool ends your IMEI or some phone identifier to the update servers negating any warranty you think you have after re-locking... If you used unofficial unlock then no identifier has been placed against your account, theoretically, there's nothing to suggest they can't detect unlocked bootloader with a little piece of programming added into their updates...

That´s why or something is PRETTY screwed or i got a hardware issue.

do you know how re-lock the bootloader ? I don't found other procedure than this.
I have unlock with not official asus tool
I've tried the steps listed @ asus-zenfone (Google search for link)
This still doesn't work..While it helps you get back to stock (Steps are also listed here @ XDA), I believe the Asus servers keep track of your serial or IMEI. At this point, you'll need to manually update the OTAs software with ADB sideload. Luckily for us, Asus posts these on their support site for the phone.
Unfortunately this is bad if you're trying to sell your phone, but I knew what I was getting into unlocking it. No regrets.

Buying a Pixel XL with FRP Lock

Found a Pixel XL for sale with FRP lock, two things, should I run since this thing might be stolen, and secondly, can this be fixed with a reflash of factory image, or am I screwed if I buy this?
The frp will still show up if you reflash the factory image. I personally would not buy it.
Don't buy it. FRP is difficult/impossible to bypass.
Highly likely it was a stolen phone, likely a phone stolen from a shipment.
Frp google pixel
it can be by pass with xtc2clip very easy if u have bootloader unlocked.
WTF is FRP lock and why should anyone care?
@Tmender,
Yes, it's highly likely that it's been stolen. You should check if the IMEI has been blacklisted, at a minimum.

Factory Reset Protection from Android. Phones are now locked to the Google account that is put on them. You have to properly remove them before you sell a phone or else it won't work.

How is xtc2clip going to work with the pixel? I know HTC was the manufacturer but it isn't an HTC phone and the website says nothing about pixel support.
Edit; from Gsm-forum:
xtc2clip 12/23
Hello,
Sorry, Pixels are not supported by XTC 2 Clip.

Bootloader unlock / Lenovo ID without promotion

Hi guys, hope you are so fine.
I want to update the ROM to Android 9.1(lineage OS) to get security updates, because my security batch is 2 years old. But that require to unlock the bootloader. So I tried to unlock it by using the "OEM unlocking" but it stuck on "Lenovo ID without permission". It keeps asking me to check the internet connection, but the internet connection was fine. So, what should I do to get the promotion to unlock the bootloader? Or if there any another way to unlock it?
Same on me. I think problem caused by lenovo servers. We need to wait or contact to Lenovo mods/employeers, etc.

If it is indeed the FRP lock then you have two options:
Input the last used google account information and password. Then perform a factory data reset to turn off the FRP lock
If you purchased or was given the phone contact the person whom you received it from and get the google account information. After entering the account and once your able to use the device perform a factory data reset to disable FRP lock
Otherwise no other help can be offered because the FRP lock is an anti-theft measure. If it was your google account last used and you don't remember your username/password then contact google for help. If you purchased or were given the device then you need to return it and/or get your back.
It is important to remember that when you sell/buy a phone (or give it to another person) it is important to always perform a factory data reset on the device. By performing a factory data reset you remove the google account information and disable the FRP lock.
Thank you, none of these options come into play. There is no way to get rid of this situation with this software? ;(.. Regards

FRP lock is enabled because a google account was present on the phone. In order to remove the FRP lock you need to input the Google account information and perform a factory data reset after your able to access the settings menu.
Was it your google account information that was last used on the phone or someone else's?
Granted it would be helpful if you put a little more info on what it is your trying to do exactly with the phone and what happened leading up to the issue (example: Are you trying to flash firmware to it, are you trying to root it (if root exists for the model), did you buy the phone, did someone give it to you, etc)
It is plain clear that the device is from an unclear origin, a legally owned device can ALWAYS be serviced ultimately by samsung or carrier, whichever one does it in such or such country, when people says it is "imposible" then for sure, they have no legal proof of ownership
I just found that OP posted a similar situation in the honor 10 section, back in 2018, in which of course nobody offered help, as it looked suspicious

The phone had a google account, I did a hard reset. And the blockade popped out. I can go to the Samsung website but I will have to pay for this service. I wanted to rotate the device. I'm not a layman, I know a little about phones. However, this model had the latest firmware. I am not a thief and I have documents for this device.

The device is legally bought, I just do not want to go to the site and pay for removing the lock, it is an authorized service on this latest Android.

Factory data reset disables FRP lock. If that is what you did then you shouldn't be getting a prompt. Since you can't enter the Google account information it is apparent it was not your Google account last used.
Unfortunately having papers saying you bought it doesn't mean the phone was obtained legitimately. The person you got it from may not have had the right to sell it.
I suspect there is more going on here then meets the eye.
If Samsung said they really can fix it go that route.
The proper ways to get help with FRP lock have been posted.
Recover the Google account and log in as usual, or seek official help from Samsung. Any other means will not be discussed on XDA.

Samsung S20+ 5G SM-G986U Google Lock

Hello All,
I purchased this phone from Facebook Marketplace and it is locked to a google account. The seller has not responded to my messages after the deal. I was hoping I could find a solution for this but I'm stuck at a dead end after weeks of searching.
The Android Recovery page shows: Android 11, G986USQS2DUE2. I've come to know that it is on binary 2 of the bootloader and that has been the crux of the issue since there is no combination firmware available for this version to reset the lock. If it was still on binary 1 I could have flashed the combo firmware, reset the lock, and then flashed back with Odin.
I was hoping someone could let me know my options here. As far as I know I'm S.O.L and lost my money which isn't a big deal. But I've been having fun trying to figure it out. None of the YouTube methods have worked for me.
Apologies if this is not the correct forum or if this type of question is not allowed. Thanks in advance!
edit: Was able to solve it with some useful tools I found on YouTube. Won't advertise the tool here but basically used my PC & USB command to sneak into the app store and download Alliance Shield to enter debug mode and was able to unlock it with the tool.

Thanks for the advice. I emailed them and unfortunately they do not support the feature for this phone.
I remember from xda-developers: https://www.xda-developers.com/bypass-frp-unlockjunky/ and https://www.xda-developers.com/droidkit-unlock/ but otherwise report to police. Sounds the device been stolen.
Use progeeksblog frp unlock service to get your phone unlocked within 5 minutes.
