tempered glass screen protector for 3/3T - OnePlus 3T Accessories

The old 5.2 is sold out now, but the seller will design a new version. see the latest post at the end of this thread.
the real tempered glass screen protector that cover all pixel on 3/3T buying guide, it is fully transparent, no white zone on the edge, no matrix effect, and will not make your display becomes 1050P, install with oil. Photos are here>>> https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...&postcount=171 and second post or you can ask me in telegram. I can send to you to see my 3T now.
My aim: let all 3/3T users get a high quality screen protector
If you can find anyother good screen protector, please tell me about it too.
Also, if you want to buy any other thing, such as custom made skin(I know another seller, he uses the same material as dbrand, also same quality, I tried, but can let you add your name on it, remove oneplus logo, etc), or even want to buy a RAM, from taobao, also some phone case(recommend to get the Spigen cases, bacause they sell the cases in China, the Official Store of Spigen in Taobao, at around 50% off than Amazon)(also Ringke, update, they sold out their 3/3T cases in taobao).
You can find me too, I don't need any extra fee.
Declaration---READ THIS
I am not the seller, or shipping agent, I am not paid to do anything.
I am not going to make a cent for myself here.
I won't refund to you if your package is damage, lose or any other reason after the shipping is started.
You are not allowed to rebrand and sell it, only for personal use or sell to your friends. No rebrand is allowed, because the seller has spent hours to design for 3T and he is just a small store owner. That seller is the boss, the shop keeper, the screen protector maker. He still wish to design and make screen protectors for 3/3T, while others super brand such as Rhino Shield and Spigen gave up 3/3T. So please respect the seller, and this is the reason for me to spend time to make this thread.

-The version 4 is NOT fully covers the display unit.
-The version 5.2A covers ALL display pixels
-The version 5.2B covers ALL display pixels but it has slightly rainbow on the edge, not in the center.

-RMB 82.5 for two 5.2A

***The seller confirmed you can use eatable plant oil instead of the glue, apply the oil after you installed the screen protector with a toothpick.
If you are in China you can buy it directly, so no need to look what I wrote below.
If you are outside of China, you need
1) find a shipping agent that can help you to ship to your country
2) buy the items and send to the address gave by the shipping agent, but mostly also 'dbrand shipping speed'.
3) ship to your home
The price MAY lower later, but if you bought before with a higher price, I will not refund for you.
But if you don't want to due with those companies, I can help.
And it is cheaper if you want to use my service instead, no extra fee, I will just ask you to pay for the cost. If you want to give tips to me, it is always welcomed.
I can help you to ship, I am going to use Hongkong Post for shipping. But also other companies if you want.
If you want me to ship for you, you talk to me first. It is CHEAPER and easier. You can give me tips here if you want... but I want help even you are not going to give tips too
Shipping fee from Mainland China to Hong Kong: ---base on how many people buy together.
Shipping fee from Hong Kong to your country: https://www.hongkongpost.hk/en/sending_mail/international/air/ordinary/index.html
***If you want to ask me to help you to buy you, please reply this in the thread first.***
Which city and country you are in.
How many you want to buy.
Here is an example:
I want to buy 3x 5.2A screen protector and to ship to Paris, France.
Tell how many you want to buy is for me to count how many people is going to buy, so I can help you guys to merge your shopping lists, so you can have cheaper shipping fee from Mainland China to Hong Kong.
Tell me which city you are in is for me to check whether I can help. In most cases, I can help, except some areas which is in war, etc.
Please use Alipay or WeChat Pay to send me money back if you choose this way to buy...
Or PayPal, but you need to pay extra 10% if you want to use PayPal, to cover the PayPal fee I need to pay later (mustly you don't need to pay). If you don't have Alipay or WeChat Pay, you need to use top up agent to top up my account, but paying the PayPal fee is still cheaper than using top-up agent to top up my Alipay account.
Estimated price (included worldwide shipping without tracking)(in RMB):
RMB 100 for 1x 5.2A
RMB 140 for 2x 5.2A
RMB 170 for 3x 5.2A
- add HKD 15 for shipping with tracking
the above price may change.
*** The official shipping authorities of Canada, the Netherlands, and the United States of America will not release the tracking numbers to others. Therefore, NO TRACKING for Canada, the Netherlands, and the United States of America.
The price above is just the cost, I won't get a cent from it. If you want to give me tips, it is always welcomed, because I need to spend time on solve problems for buyers, talking with the seller, shipping company, line up In the post office and full in many forms. I need to spend some time on every buyer.
Not just the screen protector, if you want to buy other things, I can help too.
And you can telegram @HCW7882 or Hangouts [email protected] for some questions which may includes your privacy, and I promise to keep it secretly.
But if the question that are general, e.g. Can I ship it to xxx, please post it here, so others don't need to ask again and I don't need to reply the same answer hundred times.
Although I think it is the beat screen protector for 3/3T, and made a thread for it. But I have responsibly to tell you it's cons.
Any cons? You need to use cooking when applying the screen protector. The cooking oil is for eliminating the white air zone. YOU WON'T FEEL OILY AFTER YOU APPLIED.
You need to maintain it every week. It doesn't mean that once after you installed it, the white air zone will gone forever. You need to reapply the oil every 1-3 weeks.
You need 1 minute to apply the oil.
How to apply the oil? Drop a drop of oil to the toothpick, then use the toothpick to put the oil to the gap between the screen and the screen protector.
Hit thanks if you found it is useful. Thx.

What non mobile link, the links above can open in Chrome on mobile or PC...

The link to taobao looks really weird on desktop.
Here you go : https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?ft=t&id=548131606285&toSite=main
@j3r3myp I'm also interested in France, but i'm in Lyon.

@iRaymee Thanks for the link (shall press "Thanks" later).
Which "one(s)" do you select from those that are on offer (so the correct choice(s) are made at checkout) ?

You are welcome... The shipping fee to UK is around HKD35-50, I think.
And total cost for three v5.2A protector, 5 bottles of glue, and shipping to your home is around or less than HKD200. For you to compare with other service providers.

Hi OP, how much total cost for 1x 5.2A type plus all shipping fee to Indonesia? Your answer and help is highly appreciated.

Around but I think it will around HKD90, I am not sure, it is hard to get exact cost, because need to count the weight.
But I highly recommend you to buy 2-3 at one time. Because you may fail to apply it, and you can get a new one instantly, or just put it at home. If the first is broken, you can apply the second. And buy 2 or more can get discount.
I think it more worth if you buy more. Around 150 for two, 200 for three
This is just suggestion. But how many is decided by you.
And if you can pay before 6PM 31/8/2017 GMT+8, you can save HKD 15, because I can merge your orders with other guys and send to Hong Kong together.
Edit: you can buy more than one because it has discount, and you can resell it in Indonesia the others you bought us useless is enough for you. But you should not rebrand it and copy the design of it, since the seller has spent hours to design for 3T and he is just a small store owner. That seller is the boss, the shop keeper, the screen protector maker.

Sorry, the cost may not less than 200 for 3, but not far from that, it still may less than if you let me to group three screen protectors into one boxes and reduce some useless package. I will tell you more exactly next week.

If you're in touch with the seller, pls suggest them to get the product listed on Ali express too. That's way more popular with international customers.

Don't want to make it sold out...
Just make it on xda is good, the seller is just a tiny shop, the production is limited...

Don't see a point in not wanting them to sell out. Unless the vendor only wants to ship within China. But then again that's fairly inconvenient for the international buyers.

I can tell you that if it post it on AliExpress, it will sell out in one week. However, the seller don't want to ship internationally, because the shipping fee is too expensive for the small shop.
Just if you buy a US$8 screen protector, you need to pay US$10 for shipping

bought/contract /best deals

as some one who is about to take the plunge and get a TP2 im wondering how people purchased them and what deall they got
if im right they cost £504.85 including vat
best deal to suit me on contract is voda talker £30 + with mobile web
500 mins, 100 text (dont text that much) and unlimited mobile web 18 months @ £34.26 + £616.86
now for that the phone comes with no branding and unlocked, so why just buy it then get a contract is there something i am missing
so whats deals have people gone for and why
thanks for any input
Vodafone 1 year contract, 27.50 € a month, + Unlimited Online Blox
I need to pay 286 extra for the TP2, total is ~650?
Not too bad. Because the the TP2 alone cost 600€. So I can call 200 minutes/400texts a month, for around €50 a year
And I'm getting a free 16gb microSD card from the e-tailer I'm buying it from. Great offer if you ask me.
Best deals I could find
Hi there,
I posted this on a different page but this is probably the best place for it...
I'm currently talking with T-Mobile and they have told me that they will be getting branded handsets in at the end of the week, personally I prefer a sim free version but it looks like it will be possible by next week to buy them on the network with a lovely discounted rate.
Handtec are selling the phones at £502.40 inc VAT
As I'm a fussy git I've managed to wangle an upgrade through Carphone Warehouse so it will be fully unlocked, sadly they dont have them in stock yet so I will have to wait until the end of the week :-(
For anyone who could do with this phone on a new contract on T-Mobile/Vodafone I urge you to check out www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk as they are doing some amazing deals, I couldnt help but drool, I would recommend the Combi 30 + package, £25 for the phone and £35 per month with web and walk thrown in and a shed load of free calls and unlimited texts.
I hope this info is of use to some of you.
UPDATE - I have cancelled my old T-Mobile contract and gone for the Combi 30 + Web 'N' Walk deal on www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk as it seems the best way of getting the phone with a very useful tarriff.
Cheers guys
Terry

Hi,
I to ordered with neckerman and have a "confirmation" e-mail for the 440eur. I got no mail as to the price being changed or my order being canceled. I however also did not receive any unit yet nor did i get a shipping confirmation.
I'm pretty sure there is no way to hold me to a higher price.. the other way around however..
How / why are you so sure you will get the unit for the " confirmed" price.. there is some small print discaimer for wrong pricing.
I'd be interested to get my order definitively confirmed to...

Thre are a lot of people who asked confirmation from neckerman (in a dutch ICT forum: tweakers.net). It seems that all people who have paid already using IDEAL get it for the prize they paid. People who asked a transaction form (accept giro in dutch) still have to pay 600 or get their money back.
The product is available in the Netherlands since today, so I expect to receive it pretty soon
(the fact is: people who used IDEAL closed the buying agreement by paying.)

£25 for the phone and a 18month contract with vodafone
£34 500 mins 100 text and unlimited web (which is what i want it for )

help/advice please
i am planning to buy tp2 and saw this but it looks too good to be true. the listing says that it is single camera version. is this a true/original htc touch pro 2?
has anybody seen a new tp2 as cheap as this? the seller has good feedback but still i want to be sure and hence seeking advice here.
Looks OK to me. I bought my TP2 from a UK based ebay shop 6 months or so ago, cost me £170 brand new. Mine is the US T-Mobile version, same or similar as the one in the listing you're looking at. There is no front facing camera on these models, also a few other differences to the EU phones, but they are genuine TP2s. Be aware though that any screen protectors or cases you look for will have to be for the specific model that you are getting, the UK ones will not fit, usually. I found a flip case & screen protectors for mine but had to buy from abroad, took about 6 weeks to arrive. As for the device, I couldn't be happier with it, flashed a custom ROM from this forum & all working 100%. Hope this helps, & if you go ahead with the purchase enjoy your new phone!

are other specifications same as any other tp2?
why would other screen protector not fit? is screen size/shape not the same?
Yes, aside from having no front camera, all other specs are the same. The screen protectors won't fit because the hardware buttons and speaker are different. Also the USB port is moved a little on the carrier specific models I think, so some cases may not fit properly. The T-Mobile version has a different colour scheme and provides access to the SD slot without removing the battery cover.

Where did you get yours?

Hi all,
Just out of interest and for any future defects / issues.
Thought I would start a poll on where you sourced your Rhodium.
Would be intersting to see how this develops, I'll start another later in the week to record poor customer service and another to track defects.
Those of you that select other, could you please post in the thread to let us know where (if you don't mind telling) you sourced it from.

Whilst mobilephonesdirect seemed quick and efficient with the ordering process, their '3 months free insurance' is a pain in the rear. I already have adequate insurance through my LloydsTSB bank account (nice perk), not to mention my home contents policy also covers it, even out and about. MPD make it hard to scrap the insurance, or make it easy to forget somehow! If I forget, it's £6 per month direct debit. Now I gotta go through the cancellation process and explain to their sales team that I'm already covered and I'm happy with it, blah blah...
2 FROM Clove UK.
best price around and next day delivery from UK to channel islands for £10.

very good service and next day delivery. customer service was good so overall was happy. i use online banking quite alot so once DD for insurance is set up i will cancel. 3 months free is good actually but not needed if you already have cover

Faria,
What's the deal with this £25 voucher of which you speak?
Can that be used to reduce the cost of TP2, or do you get it after purchasing to spend on next purchase?
I'm VERY close to just buying a TP2 without contract so I can stay on my current O2 simplicity plan. But it ain't cheap! £25 less might just seal the deal...
Do people reckon that the outright cost will drop when the networks start to offer it on contract?

Hi Orb,
Glad to see you are still hanging around here.
I doubt people would be too happy to advertise how much they much they paid for theirs. I had mine on pre-order from Expansys for £500, but canceled it when MPD released their deals. I ended up paying £24 for the device on a 18 month contract with TMob, £35 / month 700 minutes, unlimited web and texts.
Others feel free to advertise what bargains / deals you got with yours too.
Perhaps for future devices, if we have enough users that are interested in Sim free deals, we may be able to negotiate a decent discount based on bulk orders from one of the suppliers.
Take care my friend

from handtec.co.uk ..... international shipping to Qatar
total cost with shipping 475 str pound = about 783 usd
I got mine from talkthisway.de - unbranded version in combination with a new contract with t-mob.
Usual it costs there 559€, about 782 USD
Got mine in Holland from smartphonestunts.nl with T-Mobile subscription extension. I guess the prices in Holland are about the same with most (internet)stores, since it is still very new, but I got a free car usb charger so I decided to go for this one.
By the way isn't it strange that there are some people that take the time to vote on the poll, but give the answer "not telling"..... that seems a waste of cpu cycles to me.

best place to purchase it

Where's the best place to purchase it? with the cheapest price?
I know negri-electronics has a coupon which brings it down to $685, is that my best bet?
At Negri, I think the "VZsucks" coupon might be over... if so the $35 off coupon is probably still up. That brings it to like $700 ish.
Clove and Handtec are around the same price. Like $685 - $695. They have foreign transaction fees if you buy with most credit cards though.

Good luck! I became obsessed with this phone quick, it's difficult to say no.
I just bit the bullet and paid the extra cash to get it full retail from Verizon. It only ended up about $721 after taxes. Not the cheapest phone purchase I've ever made, but with flimsy Samsung plastic exteriors I figured I'd rather have a local warranty ready to go.

We GSM users don't have the option. We can't go to Verizon and buy a off-contracted one and pop a AT&T/T-Mobile SIM card in there. It won't work. The CDMA/LTE version is for Verizon only.
It may be plastic but it holds pretty well in the hand and its build quality is pretty good.
Brain fart! I should have realized he was referring to a GSM version.
The phone does feel solid, but I'm hard on my phones and this is one I'll probably hang on to for a good year or so. I also don't believe in ruining a good looking phone with cases or screen protectors, and Verizon's insurance is good about getting a refurb to you the same day if you drop it. I haven't had to use it yet, but, well...
Me.
$675 shipped (US only). Steinheil flex installed + an extra unused film. Case included.
All original accessories and headphones never were used. Phone is in absolute mint condition and you won't be able to tell it from a brand new one. No scratches or dead pixels.
Ordered from Expansys-USA for $750, willing to eat the $75 loss.
Anyone PM me if interested.
Or order, wait and pay more and hope you don't have bad pixels. Up to you.

Where to buy? 2 cancelled orders later...

So here's my long story short - I've placed 2 orders now for a grey P8000 and still I have no phone. My original order was on October 3rd...
Both are Chinese/HK vendors (Focal Price & iGOGO) showing stock but weeks pass and nothing happens except generic responses to my queries about delays in receiving new stock.
Eventually I just cancel my orders (unfortunately manually via PayPal claims due to a lack of cooperation from the vendors).
Now I know these vendors can be a little shady with little or no customer service but I now wonder should I just give up? It seems there's no easy way for me to get this phone (at least at the RRP)?
I've since pre-ordered the Umi Iron Pro via BangGood but I'm now doubting whether this is a good move due to a lack of development, no open sources and no 800Mhz LTE for the UK. However the design is nice, twin flash, full metal casing, better cameras, OTG support and slimmer(!) bezels.
Would welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have. Such a shame as I really thought I'd have a new gadget to tinker with by now!
Try UK seller.
Although the prices are low there waiting time plus the chance of vat hit put me of Chinese sellers.Took a punt on Ebay UK seller,a £115.99 bid excepted on Friday morning for a gold one.
Royal Mail site entered tracking number and states waiting arrival to them at 9 am yesterday,so fingers crossed should be here by Thursday.
So with the price at the moment £113.81 on Focalprice can not see the benifit of buying there, what if its faulty etc.
Hi,
why not buy it in the manufacturers shop?
I bought my phone @ "elephone DOT hk" (sorry, I am not allowed to post a link here as a fairly new user) and didn't have any problem except the price was a bit higher but no problems with delivery etc.

Thanks for replying. Can I ask the name of your eBay seller? I'm tempted by the gold metal and then buying a black battery cover off AliExpress to tone down the carbon fibre effect!

I've seen this link before: http://www.elephone.hk/online.htm
Due to the numerous links, I personally found it a bit hard to differentiate between authorised resellers, third-parties and the 'official' store.
Hi,
not 100% sure that this is the official store, but from my research it looked good and as I have received my phone I guess they aren't bad
Have a look at Dealsmachine.com. Just got mine from them. Took just one week from ordering to receive in Canada via DHL and their customs valuation was very positive in my favour !

The carbon fibre effect is actually really nice! The black cover is probably more grey but it would soften the look a bit
Well I've now cancelled my Umi Iron Pro pre-order - can anyone recommend a UK-based eBay seller?
I've used Geekbuying (based in China) on a number of occasions to purchase phones and tablets. In each case the process has been hassle free with the goods despatched around a week from the order point (assuming in stock). I'm also in UK and like the fact that the small delay in despatch is because this retailer checks the item works and configured it for the UK before sending the item out. I've always used the very cheap DHL option which means once despatched the item is with me within 3 days with full tracking on route.
I don't have any links to this company but have found them reliable.

I used Everbuying.net. I ordered in August and the phone only arrived in October, so it was at least 2 months wait. I assume they have stock now, as the phone went on special not long ago.
As mentioned above I used Everbuying with no problems and fast delivery. Just did a quick check and is on sale for less than 100.00 GBP - $149.99 US which is what I paid. Fast dispatch on gold (3-5 days) but longer on other colours (4-10 days). I assume they got a decent sized shipment and are now blowing it out. I was a little leery of them but have no complaints at all and my import cost was about 8% including DHL brokerage fee even though we have 12% tax so that gives an idea of how they valued it for customs purposes.

Thanks - I bought the grey model yesterday from their sister seller (same contact details plus also listed in Hayes) and they've emailed me this morning to say the grey is out of stock and can only offer the gold!
I've accepted the gold but would quite like a free case or something to make up for it! I do wonder if I've just been extremely unlucky so far...

The grey ones are damn nice but my partner wanted gold and have ordered the gold clock cover from Banggood.
If getting a silicon case it would hardly be noticable but then you lose the lovely look, but then you could buy a grey cover to replace the gold one.
Just checked on Elephone site and grey one for P7000 is £8.56 so P8000 one should be available soon?
Gearbest was great with me, and a friend of mine also bought one from Gearbest which arrived successfully. They had some stock issues initially but were honest about it, and my patience paid off. They usually dispatch from China after 5 days and send it through Express postage. From dispatch, it arrived within 7 days by courier. I paid $159.99 (£109 at the time), and after two months with the device, its fantastic and was worth the wait - the stock ROM was perfectly usable with a few bugs, but the Eragon ROM has completely sorted these. Knowing what I know now, ensuring a strong developer community should be a very high priority when buying a china phone.

Got a message this morning to say it's been dispatched with a Royal Mail tracking number but it's not showing on their system yet.
There's obviously a massive supply problem with the grey model and it wouldn't surprise me if these 3rd party sellers are expecting new deliveries of stock from Elephone that just keep on getting delayed?
I paid £110 and have been promised a £3(!) refund to cover the inconvenience
I'm considering buying the black battery cover though:

Black and gold might be a good look after all...

I think the gold looks decent. It's for the wife who is going to slap a purple silicone TPU on it anyway! If she complains then she can have the grey cover from my p8000!

Best Place to buy for UK

Hi,
I would like to buy this phone and get it shipped to the UK. I know about the lack of some UK bands and I am happy with it in my area. I have seen it on ali express and geekbuying but have no experience as to buying a phone from there and what import taxes they hit. Where would you recommend I get one?
I have sene it in a couple places:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Xia..._6&btsid=47921e20-e42d-4dc6-a153-d53e0513952a
http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Xiaomi-Mi-5S-4GB-128GB-Smartphone---Gray-372738.html
I am assuming this phone is out yet? or are these just suppliers saying it wil eb a long delivery as they havnt got it yet?
Chris
Check out oppomart. They ship from EU so there shouldn't be import charges. $20 for shipping. They seem to have the best prices
Thanks, that does look like decent prices. Shame the grey isn't available yet. Have you used them before?
No haven't used them
I used oppomart to preorder the Redmi Pro.
It hadn't shipped 4 weeks after the shipping date published on the site (which also hadn't been updated) and I'd heard nothing from them. This was 6 weeks after I placed the preorder.
They were quick to refund and cancel the order on request though.
I would note that the seller you linked claims "Tariff Free" which may be customs related or may simply mean that it's a handset only (rather than carrier tied).
Top One will cover any EU (UK included) import fees (see here)
AliExpress claims it comes with a 1 year UK warranty, plus they're listed on a few UK cashback sites such as Quidco (7.5% off)
Try eglobalcentral.co.uk. I ordered my note 7 (yes i still refused to give up on it) from there and it arrived safely, very quick and with no custom taxes (their policy also states that they cover the cost of the custom taxes). But just have in mind that they are sending the phones from Hong Kong so if you need to return it or is faulty you have to pay for the posting cost. I also advice you to include mail insurance during checkout just to be sure.
I got my Mi 5 on the way to UK in the Mi Store (in shanghai) . But I have got Mi phones from Banggood and Aliexpress before so they are both good (this was when I was in NZ so idk import charges).

Note 7 will not get any software updates as it's officially discontinued by Samsung.

You ordered a note 7? I think people is stupid. Better do what samsumg said: turn off your phone for your safety.

No one is selling the note 7 now apparently so i wouldn't be able to order it from somewhere as they stopped the production. So when i said 'ordered" it man i meant pre-ordered and arrived on 2nd of September , the day of its release before anyone knew about the faulty batrery. But you are right about it not being safe and because they also restrict it on flights i decided to rerurn it back.
Has anyone been able to find a black/grey varient? All I keep finding is a pre order. Is the black version released yet?
from my searching around all i can find are silver so i think the rest have not been released yet.
Im in the UK and I think I'm gonna order from banggood today
I ordered mine from Geekbuying... was £316 for the 4gb/128gb version but they do take for ever to ship.
I dont mind waiting for slow mail that way you dont get stung with import duty into the UK.

Was that with any discount codes? And how secure are the slower mails? Can it still be tracked?

How many days are you looking at?
Ordered Mi5s 64gb for about £255 from banggood. Hopefully shipped on time.
Have you all received your phones by now? And were they with original ROM or customized one?
