47.1.A.2.324 noba

It will be available? How do You know?
Coz there is no .324 for XZ1c. Only for XZ1 Dual there are .324 firmwares.

Yes there is

Yeah, I saw it.
However when writing above post I though that .324 could be somekind of update made only for Far East countries, as it was available about 2 weeks earlier for Dual SIMs from Taiwan, China and Hong Kong, that for Single SIM devices.

LTE for Sony Xperia Ion LT 28i

Tell me please, is there a way to use my phone LT 28i in Russian networks? I will clarify the issue. Setting up the modem for LTE through software or does it depend on the model of the modem? Can I get the software from any model that works in Russian networks for use in Ion?
Ok, I will ask anyway. From what device I can copy the files that are responsible for its LTE modem on Ion? As these files are named and where they are?
Surely no one is trying to do?
I think the LT28i doesn't have a LTE modem. Only the AT&T model.

Incorrect the LT28i has LTE built in and the firmware supports it out of the box. It all depends on what LTE network bands your carrier uses and whether the phone supports those bands.

Oh. Interesting. I thought the other Ion models (the ones that not At&T) ones "only" had HSPDA+. Nice to know.

Thank you for your response. But my question remains. Which model can I get drivers for LTE in Russia, where they are and how to call them? Can I install the drivers from another phone model? Suppose LG? Or from the Sony Xperia Z? Can anyone tell where the files are and how to get it from the firmware Z? Or put on sharing with installation instructions.

There aren't drivers. The phone only supports ccertain frequencies. Look at the specs for it then look at what frequencies your carrier uses.

In my opinion, you're wrong. Now I will wait for the new XTX for Ion. It will be based, as I understand, the firmware on the Z. And Z supports LTE in Russia. We'll see. )))

It isn't software only. If it was like that, we'd have many and many phones with worldwide LTE. The hardware also needs to support the frequencies. It's like saying that a change of drivers would make a Bluetooth device work as a radio, which uses other frequencies.

Z5 Premium and Premium Dual model numbers

Hi everyone,
I am searching the Sony sites and think the Premium Dual is only for some far east markets, for example Indonesia and Malaysia.
Can't find it on the Japanese and UK Sony sites.
I also can't find the different model numbers but will keep searching!
Edit - found these now. E6833, E6853, E6883 (Dual), SO-03H
I am interested in the dual sim model!
Ofiaich
To add to this, i believe E6853 has greater Lte band compatibility than E6833
I'm also interested in dual sim and does the 2nd sim double as sd card?
I'm on EE uk and which model would be best.
Sony UK told me on the phone today that the Premium Dual will not be sold in England.

From another thread in this forum the dual Sims sit in one tray, the micro sd in another.

Are all EVR-L29 dual sim?

Quick question, are they all dual sim or do some of the above models only come as single sim ?

Dual sim. You can substitute one sim however for expanded storage using Huawei's proprietary storage. I just use one or two sims in mine.

Thanks, how about in regards to the different region versions for this evr-l29. Will I still be able to get emergency messages like amber alerts and such using this model? I noticed a youtuber had those options when he was using his USA sim card in this device.

Also there is another post an xda member posted with pictures of his evr-l29 product label. The upc was 6901443278770.
The label didn't show as many lte bands as other evr-l29 models. Search my posts to find his post, as I replied to his post since no one had.

Should I buy the SM-G986N or SM-G9860 (Canada)

I am looking to buy a S20+ with a unlocked bootloader, should I go for the Korean(SM-G986N) or the Hong Kong (SM-G9860).
I am worried about the safety/bloat on both, which one would be the better option?
Go for Hong Kong (SM-G9860) am using it's better for me
Will Samsung pay work in canada?

pre purchase question, need advice

Hello, I was browsing the ROMs section on XDA for the s 20 plus exynos that I want to purchase and I can see that there is only one custom rom available. Why is that?

Because the Snapdragon models are not able to have the bootloader unlocked so there's only the Exynos models.

I have no idea since I have a Snapdragon version and don't follow what ROMs are available.

To be honest...it baffles me a bit but it's not as urgent as it once was for custom ROMs. Plus the cameras are mostly an assache with Samsung's. A pure android ROM would speed through it on these phones but I can't see it happening if it hasn't already

Not so, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, South Korea and I think Latin America all offer Snapdragon variants with unlockable bootloaders.
