Anyone get any confirmation on it yet. I'm having a lot of stupid obvious issues....like no IMEI #/no date.blah.blah stuff...and yes I submitted everything properly
I have had to call twice already and they say it approved but emails say denied.

I am having a similar issue. It says the date of purchase is not on the receipt but it is clearly on there. I am not sure what their deal is. I haven't called yet but I am expecting to be screwed out of the projector mod in the end.

It went through for me. I received a confirmation email from Motorola. I've had three Z2s but this is the only one I've submitted. I'm using the Sprint model purchased from Best Buy.

had the same thing i called and found out you have to wait till you have had the phone activated for 14 days before you can submit your application for the premotion

That makes sense, I submitted 8 days after purchase. Were you able to resubmit and get approved?

I can till next Tuesday they said that they would resubmit it for me but I don't trust them that much so I will do it myself

Update:
I got a your package has been shipped email with a tracking #. But when I checked the tracking # on the Fedex website it said that the shipment was cancelled by the shipper. Now waiting for a reply from Motorola.

I too am having issues. Free projector was what knocked off the fence on buying this phone. So I got rejected and the reason given was something to the effect of wrong item chosen. Called 800 number and they could not tell me why rebate was denied. Opened a ticket in the online help and received a quick reply. But he could not tell me why either. Luckily I had mentioned that I had not yet activated the phone to my number. His first reply to my inquiry said something about having to activate phone to receive rebate. Sent a reply (AND resubmitted exact same paperwork) in which I asked four questions INCLUDING WTH was up with being required to activate phone. It does not mention that at all in the terms. Never heard back. Sent several messages without any more responses. Finally a week later I called again. Really raised hell . She had no idea why I was rejected. But did tell me that the requirement to activate phone was a T Mobile one. I called BS. Ordered rebate from Motorola and it was their terms online. Never got a clear answer. Last thing she said was pretty much that my re-submittal would be processed when it was processed. Hung up pretty pissed off.
But she did give me an email address for corporate. Blasted them a message complaining about my experience. Got a reply that day telling me I was approved for the rebate. "Please wait the original 4-6 weeks". Pretty sad experience.
I did check link again and the reason for the denial had been changed to wrong paperwork submitted. Which was not at all the case.

I had no issues with mine, just hope it doesnt take the 4-6 weeks and comes sooner instead. that's a long time to wait...

My third attempt finally got approved(by email confirmation) after multiple calls to Moto.
Might make out on all the hassle because I now have 2 different tracking IDs that say mailed. I think they may have messed up my first attempt because I called and went off when it got declined and I made them manually fix it..but never got any type of confirmation and was told to resubmit by a different administrator.

T-Mobile told me getting the phone on JUMP was eligible for the promo. I get the phone, submit the paperwork, and don't hear anything until the denial came in the mail. It said the model wasn't eligible for promo. I was pissed. I contacted Moto and they said leased phones aren't eligible. Total BS! It shouldn't matter to Moto how I bought the phone. I will never fall for a Moto Promo again.

It makes no sense that leased phones wouldn't be eligible, because that's basically the only way to get a phone through Sprint, and we're advertising the promotion as well.

That is exactly what I told them. It is still a sale for Moto and it brings a new Moto customer. I bought a couple mods already and now I wish I would have waited. I have never been turned down for multiple Samsung promos. I might just give my Moto to my kid and grab the Note 8 with the 360 Camera instead.

Finally got a shipment tracking number!!

On 9/11 mine was received. Waiting for the validation. Might be a while I bought it on 9/11 so gotta wait those 14 days

I got mine today, it really heats the phone up, even with the brightness turned down

Just curious. When did you submit your claim? I submitted mine on 8/13 and my status still only states "Received".

Got mine today. My last submit was 9/11 and after validation it should be there within two weeks. FedEx delivery was pretty quick

out of interest is your order showing on their order tracking system, as mine isn't?
no mine is not showing so I have emailed them, was a little worried as the email I sent when they told me they didn't have stock was a tad rude.
Can you let me know when you get your handset so I can get an idea of when to expect mine.

Believe me they always do that, at time of HD2 I placed an order when their website was showing it in stock, but when I spoke 2 them they said we have not got it in stock, they couldn't say anything when I said WHY IS IT SHOWING IN STOCK ON UR WEBSITE THEN... I think it's their cheap business strategy 2 get orders/pre-orders...

I am in the same boat, ordered mine over the phone on sunday, told it would be shiped mon/tues, but have just phoned them again, and was told none are in stock, but they expect some in the next few days!
I dont believe that for a second, I will phone everyday, and I recon I will be told "soon".
Maybe until the official release date of 4th/7th?!

Just got one from carphonewarehouse sim free £399.99. Charging it right now.
Was really hard to get sim free as two stores out of three i've tried had very limited stock (1) and wanted to sell it only on 18 months contract.
At the end got it though
My wife and I managed to persuade the carphone warehouse to send us two out on payg this morning. They initially said they were only available on contract, but she managed to persuade the guy to get two contract ones swapped over to payg (like the phones arre different anyway lol) and he sent them out. Should get them tomorrow. He apparently had to discuss it with a manager first but they will do it if you askl

Starting to sound like its not what you know, its who you know. Or more specifically, who at CPW knows.
Some shops are selling it PAYG, some not.
makes you wonder how much Mobiles.co.uk are paying people to say "sorry, its not in stock", over and over again. Rather than just deliver good service, and employ less staff to lie!
Just spoke to Carphone warehouse in the Trafford Centre, manchester. They have 8 on Orange PAYG. Cannot buy "Sim free" but Orange PAYG is £400 + £10 credit.
I was going to get one from superetrader.co.uk for £387.75 but i'm not sure i can wait until the 5 april!!!

Hi Guys, pleased to say that I've finally jumped ship from Windows Mobile to Android after 7 years with verious WinMo devices. Hopefully I can give some contributions to the Android community.
Any, I'm after knowing of anyone that's placed an order the the Desire with Vodafone UK? Basically, they gone out of stock already! Order was placed yesterday and was told that the devices should be in that afternoon but a call from Voda later that day I was told no go until tomorrow now. Fine, but then today I've had another call saying that the delivery didn't turn up and they won't be getting any in until sometime next week now!
Vodafone have also locked all the threads on their forums regarding the lack of stock so it's not even possible to discus the issue with them!

I spoke to someone at vodafone regarding me moving from O2 and he said they expect new handsets around the 20th of April.
I applied for my upgrade with them on the 14th. Everything went through OK and I received the 2nd email saying my order was successfully processed. Then, I get another email saying I have to wait 7-10 days for my phone as it's out of stock which was where the fun began.
I first thought, these things happen. But with with a bit of reading around the Vodafone forum, this had been happening to a lot of people for weeks prior to me upgrading.
Why the hell did the advertise on the site that I could get it next day, when obviously I couldn't. Now they're blaming everything on the volcano erupting. From what I can tell, this problem has been going on way before anything happend with a volcano stopping the deliveries.
3 have even posted a blog explaing what has happened and have apologised to their customers. I have sent email after email and received no replies, the phone staff are useless, and now the once excellent online team are just closing every thread that has the word "stock" somewhere.
They really have to get their act together.
I got my handset as an upgrade. Ordered on the 14th, received an email on the 15th stating it was out of stock and it would be 7-10 days. I contacted customer support to say I'd seen the handset in store and asked whether I could simply go in and pick one up.
Never got a reply, but my phone arrived the next day.
Upshot is, supply seems very patchy and Vodafone's stock control a tad lacksadaisical. Then again it's not surprising that it's selling well given the comparatively low tariff costs for the level of hardware, plus pretty much everywhere has given the phone a good - if not great - review, two minutes googling will convince even a non-geek that it's one of the phones to have.
I'm getting pretty sick of vodafone. every post i start now gets deleted! had an online chat with one of thier sales people today who told me it was in stock! posted it on vf forum and guess what? deleted within about 20 minutes!

i'll believe that when i see it! And it's not really about the delay anyway, that i can understand, it's about the blatant lies and closing/deleting of threads that's really pissing people off. Everytime they close a thread they give a link to another thread which is locked, pointless. it's become very clear that some people have recieved their phone even though they've ordered after others that are still waiting then claim that it's first come first served.

I don't use their forum so can't really comment on that, but it does seem pretty frustrating. Anyway, according to someone on AVForums who spoke to someone from web retentions today, they might not be in stock until a week on monday now...

This is a major design flaw in my opinion. If something is backordered, it should tell you BEFORE you confirm the order.
I tried to call the 0844 number (specified in the email) a couple of times to find out the status of the order and gave up both times after waiting 15 minutes on hold for each call.
I finally had a massive argument with someone in customer services, who incidentally was really snotty with me, before filing a complaint with a manager - cancelling my order in the process.
Then the next day I walked into Carphone warehouse and just bought the phone
Customer Service Rep: Nobody in the UK has stock of this phone... it's because of the volcano.
Me: Erm, my co worker got it in carphonewarehouse yesterday.
Customer Service Rep: Yeah, well i bet they're sold out now.
Bottom line, Vodafone service is appalling at the moment, I'd advise anyone consdering buysing a desire from them to stay well away.

Vodafone have had unprecedented demand with the offers they have been giving so I guess they are in a different position. I agree that it is annoying, but personally I can wait as I know that nowhere else can offer 600mins, unlimited texts, unlimited data and free phone for £22 a month.

Uh Oh Replacement Shipment Time

I managed to break my camera's rear sapphire lens so I activated my free Uh Oh replacement. I opted for the cross-shipped method, where they would place a hold on my CC and send me a replacement, then I'll mail the damaged phone back to them once I get it. That was back on 9/24. I was told it would be shipped via Next Day FedEx, and I assumed a 48hr processing time (as per when I originally ordered my phone). Well it's now 10 days later and the status hasn't changed. Still in "packing". Are they having supply issues? Has anyone else waited this long?
I tried to convince them to send me a Camellia Red model instead of a Carbon Grey model, but they said they couldn't do that. I noticed the red was "coming soon" until this weekend on their store and now says that red ships in early October. I'm holding off contacting their customer support and pushing my replacement in the super slim odds that someone made a note somewhere and they are in fact trying to send me a red model. It's doubtful, but I can hope right?

Just an opinion, but I highly doubt that you'll be getting red. (I hope you do that would be awesome)
Since red hasn't been released yet you'd be getting a new red device. I thought uh oh did replacement device rather BNIB. (but I could be very wrong)
I would contact them though, 10 days is a lot, it should have been there by now.

I contacted their customer service web chat. He told me he had to get an update from their repairs dept. which will take 24 - 48 hours.... Kinda ridiculous that it's taking so long.
I'm glad they are doing the CC hold method and cross shipping now. They wouldn't let me do that before. Could you let us know if you get a new or refurbish phone?

So it has been 16 days now and still nothing. I contacted their online chat support on 10/3 who told me to check back in 24-48 hrs. I then called their customer service and spoke with Maria on 10/6 who told me that she would be in contact with Lina, my case manager in the RMA dept. and would call me back the next day. I did not get a call back. Today (10/10) I called their customer service again and spoke with Jet who escalated to David. At one point (after holding for over 10 minutes) Jet was talking to David and I think he thought I was on mute. David told him that as the status shows, the device is "ready for packing" but they had no tracking number and therefore it wouldn't be shipped until they had one. He said at this point it was in the hands of "IMM" and he could not commit to a shipping date.
I'm pretty upset with HTC right now. When I chatted with Laura and arranged the initial Uh-Oh Replacement, she was very helpful and told me it would be shipped next-day. I'm not into my 3 week waiting. This is pretty ridiculous. Ph33zy, I actually did try to go about the Uh Oh replacement back in August when I originally broke my phone but they told me at the time that due to inventory issues, cross shipping was not an option (which frankly makes zero sense) so I waited. Imagine if I had shipped my phone in first and was without it for all this time! My only backup phone is an old HTC Droid DNA which uses a different SIM card size and would be a PITA to go back to.
HTC is a mess of a company. Honestly, at this point I'm hoping they get bought out and 3/4 of the incompetent workforce gets laid off.

Update: 10/12. It has now been 18 days, still no updates. Called customer service again and spoke with Patrick who put me on hold for 30 minutes only to tell me that he was having phone problems and was unable to get in contact with the RMA dept. I contacted online support later in the day and was connected with Alejandro. He claims that the issue is with the repair center. They apparently are in the process of changing repair centers and that's where the issue is arising from. I still think that's a BS excuse (and the project manager (if any) should be fired) but at least it's a partial explanation. Apparently, they can only communicate with the repair center via email and are stuck waiting for a response as I am. No idea when (if ever) I'll get a replacement...
Final update (hopefully). After contacting their social media accounts I was able to get the replacement device shipped out yesterday (10/12) and it is scheduled to be delivered today (10/13). Only 20 days total...
I'll update this post when I get home from work to let you know if it's a refirb or new model.

My phone was received on Oct 21st and I have still not received my check. Today makes 14 business days when I call the hotline they told me give it to mid next week. I'm frustrated to say the least.

Not sure why kinda scam they really pulling and they have absolutely no information when you call, they just extend the date. They can't provide you tracking for the check , can't tell you if your check has been shipped, no email correspondence, and no way to check the status of your return. Samsung's advanced return system. What a joke

I'm supposed to be getting a bill credit from Verizon next month, but last night I received a package to return my note 7 which I have not had in my possession for over a month, and checked my orders section on my Verizon account and have a new order pending for a return of merchandise. If Verizon screws me on this I'm going to be ticked. I will fight it.

Finally got something from Verizon after numerous calls, I paid full price for the N7. I am suprised they are refunding me for the accessories as well. It also says they are sending me another return box I already got 2 and returned the phone a few weeks ago.

I got an email about receiving a check and the bill credit. Then I was just checking my bank account and noticed a change and it was the refund from the phone.
I called Samsung today and they told me 4 to 8 business days to get the check. It's been since Oct 31 when I they received the Note 7.
I got my check in the mail yesterday! I forgot about it, actually, so it was a nice surprise lol

Yesterday I received a compensation email from Samsung. It says its a repair self ticket but shows compensation request on the title.

But it was only 54 dollars. Supposed to get a 100 dollar bill credit, plus I lost my monthly payments I had paid towards the two note 7s while I had them. Definitely lost out a bit on this deal but love my V20
Anybody get one from Samsung yet?
I got a complete refund for my note 7 that I paid 2 year contract price for ($339). Still have the phone. I called twice about a box and never got one...safe to say now I have a free phone. I pray that Samsung doesn't kill switch these phones. Think I read somewhere that 12/15 was D-day for all remaining note 7s. Can anyone else confirm this?
Got mine check today from Samsung finally! $945 woohoo! Not bad for paying $600!

Question Shipping notice

Just got a shipping notice on a 6 pro 512/black from verizon pre-order. At the "label created" stage, UPS overnight.
whoa, so the 512 is avail from somewhere else other than Google? anywhere else for the 512??

From VZW? Bootloader is gonna be locked
Just checked and the 512 is still showing for sale on my account. This is a verizon business account, btw.
I had originally ordered from Verizon but cancelled because of the locked bootloader, $35 activation fee, and no Pixel buds. I will have to wait an extra 2 weeks from Google but I'm saving money and getting a hopefully unlockable bootloader. As much as I like stock Android, it's missing a ton of features I love on Samsung devices.

You probably already know this, but if I remember correctly you still get the Verizon activation fee if you active your "Google Edition" Pixel 6 with a Verizon account. One reason I switched to AT&T. I can switch phones whenever I feel like it.

Not if you order an unlocked one, but you do get it if you order a Verizon one.

Huh, interesting! When I got my unlocked HTC 10 before I got the Pixel 1, I thought I still had to pay an activation fee to Verizon, before I switched to AT&T.

No, because when you order an unlocked one, all you have to do is throw your SIM in it. You don't even have to notify Verizon. When you purchase a VZW model, Google makes you log into your VZW account, and that's when they get you. BUT, if you're a long time Verizon customer, it doesn't hurt to call them and ask them to waive the fee.

Same here. I originally had a delivery date of 10/28, but now my order page on VZW says "Delivery Date Will Be Updated Soon." Hopefully it still shows up this week.
P6P, 512Gb Black is what I ordered.
Just got my shipping notice for a Stormy Black 128 gb 6 Pro. Being delivered by UPS. I have to check back tomorrow for an updated delivery date, but most likely Wednesday.

I did, and just we are all in the same boat, no CC charges or anything, but what I did notice is that the status changed from processing to Running, I got no idea what running supposed to mean but yeah

Same here. Showing the ship & delivery dates on the same day, 10/28/2021.
I spoke w/one of my local "Team of Experts" associates from T-Mobile earlier this evening.
I was concerned that, even though I'm showing the 10/28 date, the Pixel 6 Pro is now back-ordered until mid-November.
What I was told that the bulk shipment has not arrived at the regional distribution center, but, it was still showing an estimated ship date of 10/28. (No tracking information yet).
Good enough for me. I'd went elsewhere for a carrier-free model, but, no one is matching the trade-in offers. (the full purchase price @ $899 for my Note20)

Yeah, I asked 2 reps, 1 via phone then via T-Force and both assured me that I'll be having it by the 28th, so I guess will have to wait and see

Mine is still showing "preorder" on the order status page with a ship date of 10/28. No changes yet.
But apparently if you just type in the confirmation , last name, and billing zip without logging in, it shows "running" with an estimated delivery date of 10/28.

Got my shipping notice yesterday and it says delivery the 26th or 27th by a company called OnTrac in San DIego. No status yet on the tracking info but it is only coming from Orange county. Still says waiting package- this is so frustraating
