Problems with: Bluetooth, Headset Volume and Notifications :( - Xiaomi Mi 6 Questions & Answers

1 - Very good people, I comment. Since a while ago I turned off the Bluetooth only, I have it connected to a Mi Band2 ...
2 - I can not change the volume of the notifications, they sound very very little. It only lets me change the volume of the tone, multimedia and alarm, but none of them corresponds to the one of notifications.
I carry Rom Global 8.5.1.0
Any solution?? another bug to the basket, apart from the volume problem in the headphones: /
JC

Hi,
i hade very similar problems with my Huawei watch 2.
My solution is going to Security app/Battery usage/App battery saver and go to Android wear and set-No restrictions....you can go to Mi fit app and set-No restrictions. Problem with bluetooth on our Mi 6 phone is because Security app and battery saver killing process in background.

[Q] Max Volume Issue - not the usual one

I've noticed that sometimes the max volume of the ringer isn't what is normally the max volume.
I think there is something on the phone that is altering the volume, then when you exit that app, the phone thinks that the lower volume is now the maximum volume.
For example,
I boot the phone and volume is ok.
I run the FM radio, and lower the volume.
I then turn off the radio, and return the phone to max volume.
The max volume is now nowhere near where it used to be, and doesn't go back to normal until I do a reboot of the phone.
I'm not suggesting it is the radio doing this, its just an example, I need to try all my apps to see what might be doing it.
Anyone else experienced this? Maybe its an easy fix, or am doing something wrong myself.
Edited to add:
This is something to do with the radio. Phone on max volume, plugged in the headphones and launched the radio. Lowered the volume using the rocker. Unplugged the headphones and went back to the home screen. Tried increasing the volume and already as max, but much lower than it was before launching the radio.
I had a similar experience last week, the volume on the notifications was so low I could barely hear it sitting at my desk with the phone in front of me. But I rebooted and never saw the issue again. I do use the radio, so maybe it's related.
i to have knoticed this, ive turned the volume down for something then its also turned the ringtone volume down
I mailed support about it.
Also managed to crash the phone just by maxing out the ringer, plugging in the headphones, then lowering the ringer. The volume adjustment window just stayed on screen and didnt respond to pressing the rocker, even though I could see the sound profile widget changing in the background to vibrate and silent when i reached those points. Removing the headphones didnt do anything, with headphone icon still showing in notifcations bar.
Tried to reboot, but wouldn't even respond to that. Had to remove battery.
I have also experienced this issue. Being one of those who had the DHD from 18th October, I have noticed that the audio volume does indeed get affected when using the FM radio or the HTC Music app. Also Vplayer app caused this issue as well as actually 'crashing' my audio all together - sometimes after using Vplayer I had no audio at all unil I restarted.
I now solely use Car Tunes app for my audio and have had no problems at all. Also using Quick settings with everything turned up to Max I think the audio isnt too bad. Previously I thought there was a serious issue with audio, but Im starting to think it maybe just down to specific apps - I now use CoPilot also and have to turn the volume down as it so loud (in another thread I noted that SatNav was unusable because of not being able to hear anything)
Got a response from HTC, although it reads like a default 'do a hard reset' reply, which I'm not happy about doing.
What the hell is this problem now? Will problems about DHD not end one day?
I've had this problem once.. and come to think of it, it happened when I just got the phone, and I did use fm radio just to play around with it.. not another bug surely?

Also got this issue. Dont even need to lower the volume during radio playing. Just on/off radio and the main volume is "set" low. Quotes because the volume control didnt changed...
Reboot is working but its not the best solution :/
I'm having a similar problem.
Yesterday i putted my volume to zero while i was eating with my mom.
After increased it to max, the sound while typing an sms is very low.
Rebooting doesn't help, all volume settings are set to max, but the sms sound while typing is lower then it was before.
The tricks in this topic also couldn't solve the problem.
Sorry for my bad English
I know of this issue. Dolby/srs has been enabled on your phone. It should disable when you unplug your headphones but for done reason it doesn't always disable. It can be disabled manually but can't for the life of me remember the menu path for this.

i got the same problem today, had to put rockplayer into mute (lowest media volume) but then somehow (after several hours till i noticed) , notifications (sms, emails) went mute too
anyone found a solution to this yet ? cos this is annoying tbh
Why don't you use tasker to automatically set the volume to max after exiting said music applications? Should work as a short term fix anyway.
This issue happened with me as well. I set the volume to max when playing angry birds but noticed it was nowhere near as loud as i remember it being before. Rebooted the phone and fixed. This is a strange issue. I wonder when HTC will roll out a fix.
Hi All,
I had kind of a similar problem, i noticed that the keypad tones was very low and the screen lock 'click' was almost silent. However, sound settings were at Max.
I downloaded Quick Settings from Android Market and found that System Volume was at 2 of 7. I increased this to 7 of 7 and all is ok now.
Maybe this will work for some.

Mute connected phone and change vibration pattern.

After the update I had the same problem as every one else, phone not muting correctly or only muting intermittently. Another problem is short vibration on notifications. I have managed to correct both problems with a mix of 3rd party apps.
Textra - if you change notification vibration in its settings it carries over to the watch which allows the watch to vibrate as many as 6 times for incoming texts.
To fix the mute connected phone I just set a tasker profile to mute phone upon the connection of Moto 360 and un mute upon disconnection.
I hope this helps as it fixed my only gripes with the watch.
Moto X (2014) AT&T ? stock unrooted.

Notifications that lower music and media sound volume (in silent mode) (MIUI 10)

Hi all,
I'm having a problem with my Xiaomi Mi 6 with MIUI 10.0.1.0 stable: I always use the phone in silent mode, with no vibration either, because I send all the notifications to my Amazfit Bip, but, even though this, everytime I receive a notification whatsoever while listening to music or watching a video, the media sound is lowered.
It does that with Google Play Music and YouTube.
My phone only lowers the media volume, it doesn't actually play a notification sound, since it's in silent mode.
It's incredibly annoying.
I can't listen a single song without being disturbed.
I wandered through the options and found nothing about that: have you got suggestions?
Is this a MIUI feature or there's something wrong with my phone?
Thanks!
I think I found a workaround but this definitively needs to be a bug because it's a really nonsense behaviour.
I went to Settings > Sounds and Vibrations > Ringtone & Notification Sound > and I set "None" for Message Received and Default Notification Sound.
I made some tests and now I can receive notifications from WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger Lite, Signal, Telegram and GMail while listening to music, without the music being lowered.
(Sometimes it happens again BTW...).
Obviously, this is a nuisance when using the phone not in silent mode, because I won't hear most of notifications.
Hi sberla. Did you found any other solution to this issue? As a music lover and Spotify's, the experience with my new Mi8 has been not as good as I though. Thanks!!
Hi Manu!
No, unfortunately I didn't find anything else but with the workaround I described, everything is working fine now
My friend had same issue. In sound settings she checked "also vibrate for calls" + "vibrator in silent mode". This solved the issue. (Redmi Note 5)
go to the app that notifies and lowers the notification Settings > Apps > Manage Apps > <app> > Notifications and turn off the allow sound
i use miui 11 and this is the only solution that worked for me
A little bit late but, on MIUI 10/11 I use to workaround this problem just by setting the DND mode. Just after you put the smartphone in DND the multimedia volume will decrease to zero. Just rise it up again.
Thanks, it's a little bit uncomfortable but it should work!
Hey everyone, I finally found the settings, that turns this off - go to settings --> sound and vibrations --> and there is a "sound assistant". You just need to turn on "more sound sources" when you open it up

Question Sound has suddenly become faint on Xiaomi Poco F3

The phone was new in december. Android 11. MIUI Global 12.5.7 stable
The ring is loud when someone is ringing me. When I ring someone else I can barely hear it and when they talk it is so quiet that it's hard to understand what they are saying.
I've tried three different equalizer apps with no result.
I've changed region to outside the EU TO avoid EU controls again with no result.
Under Sound effects - there are Dolby effects and a graphic equaliser which are working and under that there is "Mi Audio" which is greyed out and if it was working would include "adjustment of volume - personalise the volume according to your perception"
I've discovered the solution myself and I think it will work for all Xiaomi phones -
Open parameters and swipe down until you see Mi account,
Open Mi account and swipe down until you see Xiaomi cloud,
Open Xiaomi cloud and swipe down until you see Bluetooth where there is a button - switch it off
That's it.
When the button is on it stores your bluetooth info to the cloud every time it syncs but it seems to cause a conflict.
You don't lose any bluetooth info by turning this button off nor is it necessary to turn off your bluetooth - all your devices will link as before without having to input any info again.

Question Fold 3 wierd volume issue

So i bought an brand new fold 3 256gb less then 2 months ago and loving it but it does have a wierd volume issue that affects all volume ( multimedia, alarm, bixby, sistem and notifications) . The volume at 15 is less loud then the volume at 14. It affects the phone speakers, wired earbuds, Bluetooth earbuds and speakers. The volume at 15 is has loud has the volume at 13. All apps are affected like this.
What i tryed:
Reset the phone to factory
Reinstalled all apps
Disable atmos
Enable atmos
Any one has a clue to fix this?
Press tightly around the Samsung Galaxy Fold speaker or Turn on “Prevent USB Audio Routing”
Just Tried it and same behavior.
