Security: How to disable Quick Settings (swipe down from top) when phone is locked? - Lenovo P2 Questions & Answers

Now If someone steals your phone, they are able to turn off wifi and mobile data from quick settings without unlocking the phone. How can we disable the quick settings (swipe down from the top) when phone is locked?

Settings->device->notification center. Turn off access to quick settings.

[Q] shut down mobile network

Hey guys, Know someone a way to shut down the network?
After i install a new rom, the phone connect to the network [data] and uses it, before i can install the setings.
I use only wifi , so i dont want to get charged for using data.
?
Just pull notifications panel down, and turn off mobile network.
I mean, after a new rom and boot, you will have the opportunity to set you settings, like which country, synchro, google account etc. in that list is also connect to wifi.
I am wanting to skip the settings and strait to turn off network, before it is connecting to network and costs me money.

This should help...
1) Dial *#*#4636#*#*
2) Select "Phone information"
3) Select SUB Menu then select "More"
4) Select "Disable data on boot"
5) Reboot and Enjoy!
ah, thank you sir!!
One question then, this setting, does it stay after a new rom install?
Well it doesn work after all.
Did a new rom instal and it connects right after i logged on my sim code.
Too bad then...

Wifi Service Mode?

I have a Note 3 and I was able to access the wifi service menu and turn off the wifi sleep mode and I was wondering if it is possible to access the same menu on the Note 10.1? If so, how do you get to the menu?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

I am trying to access the service mode; on a phone you would dial a certain series of numbers and you can get into the advanced settings on the phone. I was trying to figure out if there is a way of accessing the same menu on a tablet.
The wifi sleep policy that you asked about is available in the advanced wifi settings menu. Are there additional setting that you need?

Volte not working

I noticed my Volte provision shows to Turn On - but I have tried several times with no luck and I had it on my other device and usually no problem to turn it on or off on those devices.
If someone doesn't mind can you go into Radio Info. Unless you have a code# to type in, I use the app Hidden Android Settings. Download it and scroll down and go in
Radio Info and it's at bottom and see if yours say
Turn on Volte Provisioned Flag or is it on like it's supposed to be Thanks ahead of time.
HD Voice(VZW term for VOLTE) is on by default on the Verizon Note 7.

Oh ok so the button in hidden settings doesn't matter, whew i'm glad, I was begining to worry that my volte button and device was giving problems. Thanks
easy way to check is just call someone and see if the HD voice text is shown on your dial screen.

It's not
Call someone who also has VoLTE or hd voice. It should show up. If not check under settings, advanced calling features.
Maybe it's turned off on yours.

I called wife, she also has it. No luck on my end. I have it selected in settings.
But to me it would seem like if it's selected then the volte provision should also be On under hidden menu, wouldn't you.
The *#*#4636#*#* doesn't seem to bring up the hidden options menu. I am not sure how you access the hidden menu on this phone.

app Hidden Android Settings from playstore then I opened it and went into Radio Info

If your rooted you need to enable hidden menus by editing the file below
/efs/carrier/HiddenMenu
there is only 1 entry - OFF, change this to on.
Even after doing this the code mentioned does nothing.

Yeah I found it, it's in the AT&T all access widget... I have no idea why they don't just included like normal in the network connections section in settings
Is there anyway to root and use the hotspot without going thru the at&t widget? If so please point me in the right direction.

So I activated VoLTE accidentally?

Like most of you guys I wasn't able to obtain VoLTE, so I started to look in settings and stuff. I was in the Engineering Mode and saw a option called Misc Feature Config.
In there there is and option called HVoLTE I clicked on it and selected the other option which is BSRLTE and waited 10 seg and reverted back to HVoLTE and walla!
VoLTE is now activated.
I don't know of this will work for you but you could try.
I have the Global Version on T-Mobile.
Photo of VoLTE at the top.
you don't enable it the network enables it.

Obviously, but it wasn't connecting through anything like all my other phones, the only way that it appears is by doing that.
