As we're getting back into the thread game, keeping up with threads and updating them as per changelogs can be too hectic given our schedule. However, very detailed changelogs always go up on our Google+ page, follow us for constant updates!
Instructions & requirements
We highly recommend you to follow these instructions very carefully. Users usually tend to skip a few steps and eventually fall in trouble. Are you with me? Good. Let's get this train going.
Just a few things to keep in mind first -
If you're coming from another ROM / Stock, your system data (not internal storage) will have to be wiped. This includes apps, accounts, messages, call logs etc.
There's been some users complaining about different GAPPS variants messing up installs and causing a ton of issues. Upon investigating it seems OpenGapps Mini/Nano and Banks GAPPS work best.
Understand that Paranoid Android is a custom ROM and it might lead to addiction as it's relatively good. We shouldn't be accused of anything just incase your cat starts drinking wine. Things get a little woozy in the Paranoid World.
Some brain might be involved if things go wrong. Not a lot though, as much to solve what's 1+1.
Okay let's get to the main bit -
Once you have all the required files - boot into recovery and wipe the bananas out of your device. Get into the wipe menu and wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache (basically everything except Internal Storage).
Once wiped, get into the "Install from zip" menu and select the ROM zip. (pa_bacon_6.x...). Once added to the install queue, TWRP will ask you if you want to add more zips into the queue - Click on "add more zips" and select the GAPPS package.
Swipe the bar on the bottom to flash/install zips. Once both zips are done installing - Reboot into system and set-up your device, do not do anything else.
Once you're done setting up your device - well that's when you're done. One thing though - Make sure you DO NOT INSTALL any other zip in the same queue as the ROM & GAPPS. Meaning, do not flash anything like a kernel or a root package while installing the ROM. We recommend you do that AFTER you're done setting up your device.

yea i know have small wakelock issues but amplify solve it

PA 6.0.1 Review
First: Thank you for your work :good:. First I tried the Kevinjoa CM 13, but it has a lot of soft reboots, so I moved here.
1) Installation: Before you beginn, you need TWRP (for e975), which you have to install via ADB (USB + PC) ask Dr. Google about that. Additional to PA you need GAPPs (I choose mini-Version) and it is useful to have chainfires SuperSU.zip (UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76-20160630161323.zip). All 3 zips can be installed via twrp.
2) Limitations:
I use PA-Version pa_geehrc-6.0.1-20160730 since Aug 10th (2016). I don't have any reboots or something. Everything ist running smothly.
What is working:
- Wifi
- Mobile Data
- Camera
- Phone
- Bluetooth
- GPS
What is NOT working:
- NFC (there seems to be no option to activate it) I love NFC!
- IPv6 **
- Bluetooth sometimes has trouble to connect (Garmin forerunner + Pioneer headset)
- Mobile Data (HSDPA): Whatsapp + Mail is not working, while signal messenger and Chrome are working
** I had to disable IPv6 with "IPv6 Disable Tool", otherwise I encountered problems with mail, etc. I have native IPv6 for internet and the ipv6-stack seems to be the problem: "Socket timeout: failed to connect to server". Update: This is related to my mailprovider (hosteurope.de), which has a workaround.
The version seems to be battery draining, my phone was empty after less than 12 hrs. I will look to the reason.

Thx ur commends .i know that bugs first i will said that battery issue is wakelock problem if could u flash Xposed u will use Amplify and solve this problem but absolutely I look at this problem first chance .I know u are not alone .NFC is really problem.i did Smal compiles from NFC but can't solve .I don't know what is the problem exactly but I contact my friend I hope fix it soon .ipv6 issue is device source problem i could not anything now.when I solve NFC and wakelock issue I will interest it .but not have any idea this problem.i m interesting AICP usually.but when I have free time I look .

I m useng twrp geehrc version 3.0 if u want I can upload it .every time I did full wipe and flash ROM+open gaps aroma +SuperSU (any version)+xposed+viper4ndroid .and not have any problem
But if u want use adb it is not problem can u do my steps but I don't recommend windows adb I use everytime Linux terminal and adb .so u can't usr aroma installer in adb but I hope open gaps stock is solve ur problem.

Tips & Tricks:
* You can change your wallpaper to different.
* You can lock your frequencies for better performance.
* You can enable custom icons in Status Bar & other places.
* You can use kernel auditor to improve performance If needed.
Additional Info:
* You will pass safetynet by default.

* DPI is set to different value than default.
* Rounded corners are at 18 DPI.

* Boot animation will always be dark.
* Gestures Pill will be bigger than default.

Current issues I've noticed:
* Double Tap to Wake toggle.
(You can't disable DT2W, it will
always be enabled, unless you do
it with a Kernel).
* Sometimes you can't use the Gesture Pill
(could be PixelExperience Additional Stuff, however
you can try updating the Launcher from APKMirror,
or you can just swipe few times to go back and that
will bring you to the home screen then gestures will work).

This ROM is dropped for Redmi Note 5 (vince). There are no plans of it coming back. Those on it or planning to install may try out other ROMs. They are good.

When will come the stable update of this rom with latest security patch...it is the best rom for vince..plz bring back developers...and bring the update...plz..

I've been using this ROM for probably a week now. Easily the most reliable ROM for the N970U. Data works perfectly and so do the mods. Thank You!
One question because I spent a stupid amount of time trying to add fonts on stock firmware with root. Is it as easy as dropping fonts in the correct folder or is it much more complicated than that? Because for the life of me I couldn't find the right folder or anything online about it

If you go to settings and display fonts you should see about 99 of them

[ROM][A515F/DS][OneUI 3.1 - S20 Port] Just4Fun v1

HELLo everyone...
After several weeks, months and before Android 12 released, i decided to share this ROM to this A51 community. Hopefully you guys enjoy it and don't offend me if the ROM is bad, so....let's get it ON.
Things to do before flashing:
1. Make sure you're on binary 5 (this ROM tested and using binary 5 vendor, so to avoid any broken or whatever error flash your device with latest firmware).
2. Backup your IMEI (highly recommended).
Flashing:
1. Clean flash is recommended. Flash kernel, flash J4F vendor and system.img, flash multy disabler (if necessary) then full wipe and also you can perform "typing YES" format. Reboot to recovery again, then flash as usual you guys always do (Magisk etc.).
ROM Features from S20 and Note 20 line up:
1. Samsung Dex (not full features coz need fix at kernel level).
2. Flagship live blur
3. Flagship edge lighting style
4. AirCommand (S pen)
5. LiveDrawing
6. Multy screen resolutions (HD+ - FHD+ - WQHD+)
7. 1000++ system fonts
8. Flagship sound quality and effects
9. Camera features unlocked (pro video etc.)
10. All original A51 features
11. Common tweaks here and there and so many possibility to unlock another S20 features
Bugs:
Minor glitch in pro mode video, and not really remember and deep testing everything, but hopefully still acceptable (hopefully ) but yeah..nothing's perfect, if you found one let's discuss together in A51 telegram group: https://t.me/samsunga51

Advise and Tips:
- It's normal during first boot if lags occurs, give the ROM some times to settle, finish your setup, update your apps and you good to go..
- It's better to avoid update in Galaxy store related to system app, such as MDE Service Framework, Samsung Core Services etc. It might causing conflict due to mixed up firmware. But anyway it's up to you.
- Please do not complain regarding app missing (getting debloated) and related to debloat. Because it's very hard to acomodate every person's taste. Bloatware is very Objective and absurd for each person and I know it's supposed to be using Aroma installer or any script but i don't have time that much to do that.

Is it possible to uninstall GAPS (ungoogle) the phone with this rom?

hola lo instale varias veces segun los pasos y mi telefono no arranca se reinicia constantemente

I remember that this is one of the features that is included in stock

no bugs yet .... and is great

I flashed in twrp and wipe data but the phone doesnt open and it continual rastarts.

No, I flashed Apr official rom with twrp before the flash swx rom, fail. And tryed May official rom too, same the first.
- Bootloader lock disable
- Used Twrp recovery
- Format data after the flashing rom
I need to use this rom so alike the official rom, pls help how I fix this

App lock and internet speed meter was a very needed feature for me. Waiting for the warranty to end to flash a rom.
Anyway I can enable applock and internet speed meter in stock? Atleast the applock?

Unfortunately to enable these features it is necessary to edit system files.

Well i use a internet speed meter that runs.. its quite nice and doesn't drain your battery.
