With alpha builds of AICP & AEX based on Android oreo there are issues with U-TOUCH key soft touch (tap) alloted activities/actions. So here I edited & made magisk flashable U-TOUCH key activities. So you won't need to edit system files to get needed action.
Assigned actions to U-TOUCH in this module:
Swipe right - HOME
Swipe left - RECENT APPS
Single tap (touch, not press) - BACK
Long tap (touch, not press) - GOOGLE ASSISTANT
All other allotted activities to any other key or key combination won't change.

Or
Flash from TWRP.
(Supports only magisk v17.0+)

It should work but it has been not checked in nougat yet. You try & say.

I have already mentioned which actions can be modified. Neither double tap nor double press can be modified. Actually they're not even included in alpha builds of AEX & AICP based on Android oreo.

When flash is finished, press on Reboot system and WAIT A LOT.
DO NOT WORRY IF PHONE REBOOT 2 TIMES: it's normal after SuperSU SystemLess flashing;

I saw developer options at first, but after updating magisk to v11.6 and reboot, they're gone again..
It is something in magisk hide, whenever I enable Magisk Hide, developers options just vanished and I can't get them, but When I disable Magisk Hide, they are back again...

It's an issue with latest Magisk. Stay on Magisk 11.1.
You can go back to Magisk 11.1 by flashing the Magisk Uninstaller.
Flash Uninstaller>Wipe Caches>Reboot Recovery>Flash 11.1>Reboot System.

It doesn't for me and not for the other user who said the same thing... i cannot even set up a fingerprint because it does not recognise the device has one. i have tried reinstalling the rom, factory resetting etc

Idk what issues you are having. But i am able to unlock my phone using fingerprint.
Are you using any custom kernel?
Maybe you can tell us abt your setup.

Flashing instructions:
Coming from another ROM, OR if a CLEAN FLASH is required
[MANDATORY: FLASH THE UPDATED FIRMWARE FIRST]
1) Download the Slim7 zip file
2) Download a 7.1 x64 GApps package (optional)
3) Boot into recovery (TWRP)
4) Full wipe (Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Factory Data Reset)
5) Flash the Slim7 zip file
6) Flash GApps
7) Reboot
Updating from previous Slim7 release if no clean flash is required
1) Download the Slim7 zip file
2) Boot into recovery (TWRP)
3) Flash the Slim7 zip file
4) Reboot
5) Please give first boot a good few minutes
IMPORTANT - PROBLEMS/ISSUES:
If you have issues, I need logs from you (logcat, last_kmsg, dmesg) linked to on pastebin.com or hasteb.in, showing the failure, along with a clear description of the steps that I need to take to exactly reproduce the problem. Sadly dt2w doesnt work , and use home button tap to go home doesnt work in this Rom ... But thanks so mich for providing US with all those Roms .

You need to know that what you wrote is rude. You need to be grateful because we have a developer that is doing work for our device. Without PsyMan we would not even have all these roms that don't lag or have major bugs like the ones we had before him.

Who told you am not grateful? I v thanked psyman many times. But since android 8 and 8.1 has been out for months we need at least a beta version. Creating roms for 7.1.2 its a time waste .This is my opinion, if u think something else like "keep going with 7.1.2" you can write it down i wont mind.

im really sorry for my missinformation, 1. tapping the home sensor button to go to home DOES indeed work, and double tap tap to wake isnt integrated in the rom, but advanced doze mode, there u can double tap 2 wake the device but only if doze is triggered by a notification, or is there a way to use that as normal double tap 2 wake , even when there is no notification?

so i have to say that now @Psy_Man all your roms u provided every single one i have tested, and none of them have a bug ... they are all working flawlessly ,.. in my long years of beiing a flashoholic i flashed over a 1000 roms from so many de3velopers, none of them where consistly bugfree as your roms, thanks again for providing us with all the roms , i love to test new roms . i would love to see u as a rec. developer and a device maintainer on lineage . such a talent !

With Psychedelic Kernel v0.7 [MIUI/LOS/AOSP][MINOTE2] , not working WiFi. Other kernel no tested.

Do you have the full zip or boot img?
Already updated like 6 hours ago was waiting for this post. Just to inform you. I am rooted with some magisk modules. My phone rebooted like 3 times before it actually booted up so not sure what was happening but just to tell people not to panic if it happens to you

thanks for boot img. i got wiped after reactivating magisk modules... suspect call recording as culprit...
Anyone having issues with beta 2 and Nova launcher? Mine was hanging when pressing the back button or unlocking phone. Had to switch back to op launcher.
Does anyone know where can I send feedback of the new beta?
On OB2 with navigation gestures, auto rotate is off, and I rotate the phone, the button to rotate doesn't appears, also if you long press the battery icon on the quick settings it takes you to battery saver screen instead of the battery usage (this happened since OB1).
Anyone try magisk call recording module on OB2?

Just download Joneplus tools from playstore and enable call recording. Remove the app from battery optimisation to keep setting after a reboot.
The call recorder module will result in a bootloop

Still causing me issues with Nova. Home screen takes forever to load and the back button gets stuck when I click it 99% of the time
