will it work on aex 4.6 ?
how about aptx and aptx HD ?
which one should be install?

Both work on AEX. Install either of them, not both. As far as audio output of the phone is concerned, it isn't exceptional even with the wired connection to begin with. So expect the same if not better.

Don't have any aptx hd headphones with me. Our devices support HD too?
How about aptx low latency?

I believe our phones work in aptx-HD as well. And low latency too.
But i dont have a apt-hd device for test.

Confirmed working on lenovo Z2 plus with Jaguar Rom!
Only used aptx not aptx-HD.
Used latest magisk install. Thanks!

I flashed Oreo zip from first post and zip from second zip magisk post.
I got following in my catlog.
01-28 19:44:25.910 D/a2dp_vendor_aptx_encoder(1499): a2dp_vendor_aptx_encoder_update: sample_rate=48000 bits_per_sample=16 channel_count=2
Does this mean aptx is enabled.
However it has come only once and is not continuously coming while playing music as the Bluetooth headset is connected

Ok I found out where its coming from, here's the link to the source http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075 Amazing mod by @guitardedhero :good:
I just installed v4a apk to get v4a working on my xt1642
Just curious. Exactly how is V4A improving audio for you? The output to decent in-ears (Philips Fidelio S1, 32 Ohm, high sensitivity) is already pretty good through Poweramp v3 Alpha (SoX resampler and no EQ) to my ears. Easily loud enough and with better clarity than my old ipod nano 3rd gen. I play mostly 320k mp3s, some 16/44.1 and 24-bit FLACs (even though I know that it is all resampled to 16/48). Is V4A for tonal tweaks or is there some magic to digital signal handling going on?

Use mid-high range earphones you'll love v4a
Better buy JBL,rha,...BOSE they sounds incredible with v4a
Thank guitardedhero!
Great to see the Moto G4 Plus Viper4android thread @DJTeeJay!
It's been such fun since Viper took over audio control of my phone!
Hope more Moto G4 users share their experience and Viper preferences to help unlock maximum possibilities of this phone's sound.
Thanks
I flashed stock viper 4.71 fromhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075, wiped dalvik and rebooted. What are all those zips and the app in op for?
Some out of those zips are flashable variants of Viper, such as Atmos or DolbyDigital+ or Sony Beats which are customized versions built from respective roms the related audio effects/settings have been ported.
The rest are either IRS samples or profiles or DDC samples, which unlike the main app, can be extracted and put into the corresponding sub folders into the Viper folder on SD card.
--------------------------------
My current config:
XT1643 RR 5.7.4 Viper 2.3.4.0 (came inbuilt with the ROM thankfully!) DolbyDigital+ 2 IRS over Dfx 1.3 pro (can't be more happy dfx works flawlessly with Viper) headset mode via 3.5 stereo through Fiio E17K Alpen on Sennheiser HD598

Mi5s Bluetooth Aptx support ?

Does the Xiaomi Mi5s support Bluetooth Aptx?
I want stream music to my Digital Audio Player (Shanling M2s) and want to use it as DAC. The Bluetooth pairing work's without flawless, but i want use the full potential of the Mi5s to stream Highres music files.
Thanks in advance.
I have Mi5s too. Did you find the answer you were looking for? Does the Mi5s support AptX?
You can flash AptX zip file.
This is only for Lineage OS, right? Not for stock rom?
I didn't find anything on it but blackjeccat's suggestion of the zip file seems promising. I'm currently using miui however so I'll wait until I get lineageOS or that google pixel rom that may or may not come out before I try the mod.

Why create a thread with mods already tested by others ??
I posted the mod of Guitardedhero with his permission I doubt that you asked him the friend .... Finally I will not polish ...
This Magisk module works on 8.1 stock and LOS. With the 2.5.0.5 drivers.
@shubham8, Please delete the links of Pure Audio(this is my converted build too) and Sony music MOD because I did not give permission to host my work on third-party resources or post a link to my thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70502885&postcount=2 as in the case of DolbyAtmos by guitardedhero.
Otherwise I will have to contact the moderator.
