Voice is uninstall normal

Go to settings---apps---defaults and then choose Google as the assistant app
Has you can see I can't uninstall it. And setting Google assistant as default assistant doesn't remove hivoice from the home button shortcut (I have the AL10 version, which is the Chinese one)
Maybe rebranding it to European model will some the issue

Yes, this is what I need. But there isn't such an option in my settings. I know in honor 7 there was an option that's getting enabled only through a trick.

mine is with EMUI 4.1 ... does that do a difference ?
On the German devices, this Option is disabled/not supported. On the Chinese CAZC01B153 thats now on my CAN-L11 its available and works.
I thinks that get activated in one of the next Updates for the German devices.

I have the international version of the Mate 20x. When I swipe left and access Hiboard there is no newsfeed. I have had this phone for over a week. Anyone else with this issue?
40 views and not one answer.....if someone can tell me if their newsfeed is working or not on Hiboard I would really appreciate it!

I have no news feed on my L-29 international version. Occasionally, when I am on the HiBoard screen a very quick message appears that simply says "news feed unavailable".

I totally agree it is very sad that their flagship phone is on Oct security patch. Even my huawei mediapad m5 has the Nov patch

It doesn't need apk, after uninstalled hiboard and then go to home screen setting to enable Google feed.

Mine is Huawei Mate 20 (Australian version). It doesn't have news feed in Hiboard for some reasons. Here is the guide.
1. Uninstall Hibaord using ADB command.

Note that the package name for Hiboard is:
com.huawei.intelligent
2. Reboot your phone.
3. Go to setting of your home "Hiboard" option will change to "Google feed".

YES!! This is the most annoying problem I've had with this phone. I'm constantly closing apps because of this. Back action shouldn't extend to the edge of the screen. It should be limited like on the other side (the recents side)

You can use the pre-installed app called "Feedback" but I doubt that they will ever care lol

Does the UI still limit the amount of apps you can autostart? And you probably still have to log in to a vivo account to change launcher too?

i've logged-in to Vivo Account but for curiosity and not for other things. Still don't tried to change launcher because the stock here is pretty perfect and customizable .
I can receive notifications from all apps here and never had locked them in multitasking. Only need to grant all authorizations under settings

That's good to know about notifications, I just hate not having a app drawer lol
Thing that i don't like is that Google Pay it seems to not be supported.
I have an error when i try to finalize the registration. So no contactless options out there.
Maybe depends from Google License missed here ?

Ive never bought anything from Giztop before. Do you recommend? Also, do they open up the phones to inspect them? I know you said it was the Chinese version and it didnt come with playstore, so I assume it was preopened. I prefer that my phones arent opened by someone else.
