No, dont worry, its only a number not changed, we have november security patches applied, the most of aokp repos are picked from lineage directly before the build, so if lineage updates the repos (security patches included) we have it updated also, im going to review our repos and update the number but you are secured now

Oreo 8.1 Bring up

Great to see Oreo 8.1 build.. Gonna give a try.

Good to see an 8.1 ROM. Looking for (ported) settings features in the future. ?

A small overview/review of the rom. Thanks for the rom.
https://youtu.be/a5H9G9NtgRA

Thanks for this, seems decent so far. Looking forward to updates.

Slow Motion fixed, also added many features, check second post.

Thanks dev for your work ! Does this rom enforce encryption?

Thanks! And yes, you can try to flash no verity zip after flashing the ROM to not force the encryption

I'm decrypted and flashed noverity, all is working including latest Magisk 15.3.
Room work fine, just a bit lagging.

Very stable and decent ROM. Good work!

New alpha_2018-01-18_1030 check gerrit
New status: Alpha Important changes:
-Ported AOKP ROMControl (Still porting features)
-Many improvements (Now runs very fast)
Many things to port yet, thats why the status is Alpha, but main things are ported

So far running semi decent. Not as smooth as I would like. But ill make a kernel for it and see if that helps at all.
Thank god for aod. Ill keep using this for the next few days to see how it does. Looking forward to seeing the features you add
Edit: Okay wow really laggy. Hurts the experience. Not sure if im the only one experiencing the extreme lag and stuttering of the rom.
Even bumping up my input boost doesnt help much if any

Volte and WFC
Volte and Wify calling should work next build, im going to upload a build now for all who wants to test because my provider doesnt support those features, thanks
Here is, please report if its working, thanks

info
all credit goes to @tdm for bringing our device official. i started building this for myself and reached out to the AOKP team to see what it would take to bring us official...and to my surprise @tdm said he was already working on it...which is good because he is a real dev!
i offered to maintain the thread and be the point person here. which is good, because i'm here all the time anyway
as far as GAPPS, i always use BANKS' minimal, found here. note that with AOKP, you need to flash GAPPS when you update nightlies. you can still dirty flash, just flash GAPPS right after ROM. otherwise your google account won't be there.
right now, it looks like "nightlies" are every couple weeks. enjoy!

Yes I've been maintaining this for a few weeks. I'm just not really into forum threads anymore (too many forums and too many devices). Unfortunately I forgot to get it added to the devices page...

I will test others official builds never boot or in eternal logo boot
Gonna flash this 2nite n test it!!
sent from my BrokenS3 v1.3
Same problem "eternal" logo to boot
Same here I am trying to get it to boot and so far 45 minutes on the boot logo and no love.
I will pass along these reports to the AOKP team if anyone cares to grab logs. Simply saying it doesn't work doesn't help.
I got it to boot this morning but no data connection. Couldn't read my sim either

These are built daily from stock AOKP source, thus are pure AOKP bleeding edge goodness.
Bah can't get a log to help out sorry. Guess I need to wait a build or 2 and try again.
Today's build should be fixed as we identified two possible areas where it could be broken based on logs we received.

[ROM][5.1.1][CM12.1] Hyperdrive-OS [2015-05-01] ***UPDATED***

Introduction
Hello ALL! So here I am again with a new ROM. This time I present Hyperdrive-OS. This ROM is basically a CM based ROM with only a few added features and a ton of Optimizations. Overall, this is CM the way I think it should be. Also, this is based on Android 5.1 so anyone who wanted to get their hands on the latest version of android, WELL HERE'S YOUR CHANCE! And finally I would like to take this time to give an ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF THANKS AND CREDIT TO @luca020400 and @LuK1337 (It's simple, without them this ROM wouldn't exist!)
Supported Devices
All Moto G 2014 variants EXCEPT the 4G versions (thea)

Congrats for the ROM Shawn. I downloaded since first version and compiled from the source and it is really great! :good:
Many thanks for this!

Performance was better than stock or cm12
but battery life worse need more tests
_______________________________________________________________
Update
Im using version from 2015-04-05 no errors everything is fine and working perfomance good but battery life still needs an upgrade
Just tried out Hyperdrive compiled on my own computer from a few days ago, and @Shawn5162 I gotta say, two thumbs up!!
Now if only we could have this speed and multi-tasking on Quantum...
Just a quick note, the build bash script for linux is all wonky... rewriting it is not such an issue becuase its like, 5 lines, but the /tools/build_linux is longer and there are also some wierd lines there that return errors, although it does build, so yah. If OP has a second to look at these and fix em up for other linux users it would be great
Guys We all know what an amazing job @Shawn5162, @LuK1337 and @luca020400 @Pizza_Dox and all our Fellow Developer's are doing and have already done.
But please, let's just keep this thread clean. Posts like Thank You, Will Test now, Downloading now etc etc, are Useless. If you appreciate something, just hit Thanks.
This really makes a huge difference in the number of Posts which are of no use.
Please, just click thanks.
Downloading Definitely gonna report back. Currently con pure cm 12.1 but I miss the customizations. Nice work Shawn. I hope the thread stays clean this time. Keep it up!

I see that the nexus 9 is really not getting any new roms lately so i am here to change that and i already made 3 new roms for the nexus 9
They are:
Aokp Nougat
Aosp Extended Nougat
FireHound Nougat
Make sure you all give me feedback but i tested all 3 of those roms i made and they should be good to be daily drivers
Also these roms will be coming to the nexus 9 from me in the next few days or weeks for flounder:
XenonHD Nougat (Already Done)
OctOS Nougat (Maybe)
crDroid Nougat (Hopefully)
RR Remix 5.8.5 Nougat (Hopefully)
Dot OS Nougat (Already Done)
Mokee Nougat (Maybe)
Dirty Unicorns Nougat (Maybe)
BlissROM Nougat (Maybe)
LegendROM Nougat (Already Done)
I tried building these ROMs for flounder but they have too many issues and i dont recommend them so i wont be sharing them:
LiquidDark Nougat
AtomicOS Nougat
AOSIP Nougat
Flashed this ROM last night and so far everything seems good. Was using the official Lineage but it hasn't been updated since February. Thanks for keeping our N9 updated!
Hey everybody sorry i haven't been posting builds lately. I have deciced to stop making roms for a couple months for all my devices because it feels like too much work for me at the moment and i am trying to deal with my personal mental health issues that i am currently working on. This isn't a goodbye i will eventually start developing and making roms again i just don't know when i will have the motivation to come back. But when i come back from taking my break i will try to update most of my roms for you all
Also i deeply apologize to the people that requested any sort of help and that have emailed or private messaged me here on xda. I have seen your messages and i will respond to you all and try to help eventually but right now that's not my priority. I just got too much stuff going on with my life but it's nothing against any of you. I love to help people but my sanity and mental health is more important.
I hope you all can understand
Thanks for your efforts here.
I look forward to reading your posts on the xda forums in the future....but only when you're ready.
Good luck!

Hi, I just flashed this ROM. It boots just fine, but once I flash the gapps package, it just sits at the "loading" screen until I force a reboot. Any ideas? I've left it for up to 20 mins, just to be sure.
