4G data issue - Honor 7X Questions & Answers

I am not able to get airtel 4G data while Jio is working fine. I even tested replacing the Airtel sim still the issue is not resolved.
If I use the sim in other phone it's working fine. Can anyone suggest what would be the issue?

Which Version of 7x,Al10,L21......?
Airtel use Band 3 and 40 Lte

Ok,the AL10 has
4G Band:
850MHZ
900MHZ
1800MHZ=B3
2100MHZ
2300MHZ=B40
Are you in India?
Is in Settings-Mobile Data Settings 4G Enabled?

Thankiu all for the suggestion,I recharged my 4g pack again today and issue got resolved, was not sure what had happened before

Lte not working. Help please.

I have an htc m8 unlocked international model and which does support 1800mhz frequency for lte, the same my network provides for lte. But i am unable to run lte. tried my sim card on an iphone 6 and lte works just fine. Please help me.

Yes 3g works but on other carrier. The carrier which is providing Lte doesnt have 3g.

The same problem is getting me as well. According to the Network provider(WaridTel Pakistan) this model of HTC One M8 is not supported in Pakistan or Carrier Lock something even the LTE option is appearing in network modes. Meanwhile 3G and edge is working perfectly.

Hi team I bought unlocked HTC one m8 and for 1st week it was working fine but now suddenly it's 3g data is stopped working. I only able to use 2g data and when I switch to umts mode so it shows no signal and if I change to auto mode so it catch the 2g signal only. I tried my Sim in another phone so it's working fine and tried another Sim in my phone so I am facing the same problem. Guys please help as I really love this phone.

Not enough info. Need the phone's CID, and what 3G (UMTS) bands used by your carrier.

I Google and found this CID for my phone spcs_001. I got to know this from terminal emulator. Sorry but I don't know what band is used by my carrier.but I recently took 4g sim from my carrier which is working great on my brothers phone but not on my phone怂I am using Airtel's 4g SIM and not able to use even 3g on it .

Call your carrier and ask them, they can answer this.

Thanks, I have called my carrier and they advised that 2100 for UMTS (3G) and 2300 LTE (4g) band is used by Airtel.

You have the Sprint version of the phone (based on CID) which should be compatible with 2100 MHz (UMTS). This phone does not support 2300 LTE, but you may already be aware of that.
Are you sure your carrier's APN info is entered correctly?
You sure 3G worked for a week? Any changes that happened that could have have changed that?
Thanks for sharing this detail, I was not aware about the 4g which you mentioned. Yes my APN is correct and i have crossed checked with my carrier as well. And yes i have used 3g for a week and after that I took another SIM from my carrier(Airtel) 4g sim and just after that my 3g stopped working.
And I have checked my new sim in another phone so it's working fantastic but not in my phone. and I have checked my brother SIM in my phone so even that sim's 3g is not working on my phone. I could not understand all of sudden what went wrong which it stopped working.

Check the APN again, and that is the currently selected, active APN. All I can think, is that inserting another SIM changed the APN.
I checked again, but still same issue. What should I do any suggestion. Or could this be a software or hardware issue how to know this. Any idea

[HELP] LTE Connectivity Problem

My Nexus 5x doesn't connect to LTE at all in Airtel (India). At best it connects to HSPA connection only.
My dad's Moto X does connect to Airtel 4G with amazing speeds. I have tried using *#*#4636#*#* and selecting LTE only but then it shows no service available. Anyone with same problem?
Any Solutions?
same issue for me, on sprint in USA
It was previously active on FI and pretty sure it connected to LTE

Call your operator and tell them to activate the 4g service on your phone. You might have to pay extra on your internet plan though.

how to use jio 4g sim on my galaxy note 2 3g

I tried using engineering mode but it doesn't work on my mobile . I have Samsung exyno's processor. I want to unable the LTE band ASAP. Plzzzzzzz HElp me:crying: :crying:
The lte variant is different to the 3g one and has a qualcomm chip for lte that isn't present in the none lte version. Pretty sure it's impossible to do
you can not use jio 4g on a 3g phone because jio doesn't have 2g or 3g fallback network.
not answer but query... facing same problem. with my samsung galaxy note gtn7100 3g.
is updating by rooting the phone to lollipop or other version will bring 4g accessibility or not ?

BND-L24 USA LTE Bands question(s)

Reference phone specs at end. I recently got the Honor 7x and am using T Mobile in the Atlanta, GA US region. At home, when I got the phone Friday night after work it was awesome. Super fast no problems plug and play. But Monday at work I get full signal, but no internet. No download speed. I found that when I go into the settings under mobile network if I choose preferred network mode down to wcdma/gsm it turns off the LTE but I get some data. Is there a way to remedy this problem without having to sacrifice LTE while I'm at work?!? I know the Huawei website says the phone works with T Mobile, but if it only works with 3/5 bands do I just not get LTE where those bands are in effect? Can someone shed some light on this? Because before today, I honestly didn't know what any of this meant. Thanks in advance!

Sam well, when preferred network type is set to LTE/wcdma/gsm auto and 4g is enabled, i get a full signal as far as bars go and the 4g icon is there but my download speed is nothing and it tells me im offline
when i change preferred network mode to wcdma/gsm i get data, but not 4g

Miguel Esquivel well it seems to be intermittent issue, but since your satisfaction is our main goal we can send the device to our repair center for further testing, but if you allow me to add my opinion i think that the signal goes weeker on that location and probably does not reach enough power to have data traveling on it
I do not have a coverage map for your carrier i am sorry, but you can consult them, it could also be a sensibility related issue with your antenna Sam
Sam i'm showing that there are 2 bands that the honor 7x does not support that tmobile does use and im just wondering why we aren't on the same page
it's not a repair issue. it's a matter of whether or not the phone is compatible, and i'm leaning towards no unless you have a solution. there are 3/5 supported LTE bands for this phone which i did not think would mean that LTE wouldn't work at all

Sam so if T mobile uses B66 and B71 LTE bands for their LTE service as well and the honor 7x is incompatible with these my phone will not work properly unless i completely turn off LTE????

T-mo will be the first to tell you that not all of their services are available everywhere, is that what's going on here? I may be missing something here, but does the honor / huawei not work when a different device (with the same bands) would work?

The 900 band you want to use isn't available on the BND-L24 model
Works great on at&t even in areas near here that have gotten worse service recently.
Bands 5 and 12 are the main T-mo bands so it should work for you, bud. I would double check the APN. I would also have T-mo release the SIM and reprovision it (cut it loose from the network and reconnect it); I used to work for T-mo and this can resolve a buttload of connection issues.
I use mine on Cricket/AT&T and get better reception than I did with my ZTE Axon 7.
