Best Power bank?? - Moto G5 Plus Accessories

Hi guys.
I am willing to buy a power bank for my moto g5 plus.
Is there any power bank with a turbocharge support?
What are the best ones? What do you use?
Thanks is advcane!!

Mi Powerbank 2i
It supports Quick Charge 2.0

Mi is best

obviously something with QC 3.0. for example: https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Ank...ore+Speed+10000+QC,+Qualcomm+Quick+Charge+3.0

I use this one http://www.vinsic.com/Products/sku-VSPB303W
20k mAh, QC3 output and USB Type C support so it's fairly future proof
It charges my phone several times before emptying

what is your favorite fast charger for the le max 2?

Hello guys,
as the title already says I'd like to know what is your favorite charger for the Le Max 2?
Do you guys all think that the OEM charger from LeEco is the best considering the charging speed or did you find even faster solutions?
Curious for your answers!

Dear collegue. I am yet waiting for my X822. Maybe you could give me some information how long does it take you to fully charge your X820 from 0% and are you satisfied?
regards Olek
If the phone is off, I need about 1h30min. to full charge it when it is not in quick charge. First time I used QC and the phone heated up so that's why I know use the normall method.
For me it takes 1h20min with phone on and the capacity of the battery is correct measured with small USB tool. Fast charging is sometimes 8V and 2.5 A.

got the X822 aka the grey version in transit, couldnt resist it at 222US, ewen thow im not in the market for new mobile, allready pretty satified with the p8max that i like a lot and that dont got any quickcharge tech at all afaik, other then just plain 1.9amp charge cycle., according to my YZXstudio1270 meter, but the 4300mah takes here around 2.15 hour to fill, but slowing down massive the last 5 to 10% like the norm.
that tempo is fine by me, but have also purchased the Vinsic P3 terminator with QC and type C in & out. intended for the X822. seemed reasonable at 28US and with product-specs that shouldnt be to fare for real-world according to reviews.
JUst wondering if you can trick QC3.0 trigger on other devices, got an relative old usb trigger for QC, but no QC phones or at least chargers to check if 9v and 12v can be optainable and be used for ones 12v coreM tablet, just like that and push of an button..
anyway certainly looking forward for my first entry into my first QC device Lemax2 X822 and not least typeC.. LeMax2 lookzs wicked in grey. .:good:

You are sure that the quick charge is actually off.?
when checking on mine X822 and turning the knob in setting < battery < quick charge' to not active.
it still display the same voltage and above +6v to around 9v dynamic.. (its the same when the phone is off)
its like the "quick charge off function" doesnt do anything at all. (am on stock X822 assume its 16s EUI'build)
if you got an usb-meter, try to measure if the voltage actually stays around usb 5v level when turning the quick charge off. (mine it doesnt on stock QC charger)
// digitalnasarma it was on AliE ref CB.

According to qualcomm, it is. My le max 2 shipped with charger EQ-24BUS.
https://www.qualcomm.com/documents/quick-charge-device-list
I'd like a charger for night-time charging. Does anyone know if there are ill effects by leaving your phone on quick charge for extended periods and doing so daily?
And would one risk damaging this phone by using any other 'regular' charger?
Any charger should be safe, just make sure the cable you use has Pullup resistor of 56kΩ, without that 56k chip all kinds of stuff can go wrong. usb A to usb C is a really bad setup and you'll need that chip for protection..
Thanks castuis. Best thing I learned today This (and this thread w/charger links) is good to have.
So Which charger and cable are the best for the price? Original or something else. And where to buy with shiping to EU?

This is by far the best way to buy cables and chargers. You will learn way more than you ever wanted about USB accessories.
I bought the multi pack of Orzly cables , they are the best, relatively cheap... Sturdy.... And won't burn up your phone/house.

Right, but those links mostly focus on USB C standard, not QuickCharge 3.0, which I believe technically violates USB C standards. I'd still suggest sticking to cables confirmed to have the correct pull-up resistor, and if you want to use USB power delivery rather than QuickCharge technology you can also stick to chargers and power banks from that list. I think QuickCharge 2.0/3.0 will still charge faster than USB power delivery though, in which you probably won't find them on that list.
In any case, I bought an 1 port Aukey QuickCharge 3.0 car charger and it seems to work well to charge up to 4 amps. I also bought an Aukey 10000 mAh QuickCharge 2.0 power bank, and it too seems to charge my phone at up to 4 amps. Both were bought from Amazon Canada. I use them either with the cable that came with my phone or good micro USB cables and Tronsmart Micro USB to USB C adapters (which have the appropriate pull-up resistor.)

Powerbank for Oneplus 3/3T ?

Nope
I think Dash charging isn't helping in real life multipurpose use.... but Qualcomm quite charging does that....
Oneplus should make dash charging support power bank or make 3/3T Quick charging 3.0 enabled ?
Well, OPPO's VOOC flash charge is the same as DASH, and people report their VOOC power banks work with DASH charging (with a Micro-USB to USB-C adapter).
OPPO link: http://www.oppo.com/ph/accessory-vooc-power-bank (I only found it on their Philippine page)
Amazon link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/OPPO-VOOC-Flash-Charge-Power/dp/B00SINEEXA (Out of stock)
Good luck finding one.
Try vooc power bank and it won't give you exact same speed as dash charge as dash charge because that gives output of 4amps but the vooc power bank by vivo give 3.4amps but that should also be fast and it should work because vivo and oneplus are owned by same company and use same technology with different names

any one know
this 5V 4.2A can charge like dash?

does it use qc 3.0 or a LENOVO proprietary standard? read here....

from gsmarena:
We initially thought that the Rapid charging tech used by Lenovo must be Quick Charge 3.0 since the P2 uses a Qualcomm chipset. However, our third-party QC3.0 charger didn't charge the P2 particularly fast, so the jury is still out on whether Lenovo is using a proprietary charging technology.
so... my car charger and my power bank, BOTH qc 3.0 are useless with this phone??
Our charger is a basic 12V 2A charger, giving a total of 24W Power. I don't see anything special in the charger. It's probably not the usual QC we had heard of. I have seen in some reviews though about this charging technology being different and very interesting.
A problem would be: what charger for the car???
i have the phone and i can confirm it only uses the QC feature with the included CHARGER
no way to use any qc 2/3.0 charger....mmhhh bad decision lenovo!

I don't see your point. This charger outperforms any other chargers in the market even turbo and dash chargers.
Why do you ppl always end up blaming others.
because i am against the proprietary charging algorithms..... dash charge is great? NOPE.... it forces you to use a special cable, a special charger, no 3rd part suppliers... high price of chargers, is it a good move for the customer?
same thing for this lenovo charging solution, ok the fastest one, but if i lose che official charger i am stucked with the NORMAL 5v 2a solution....
this is not a great thing imho, and all power banks i have qith 7/9/12v qc features are USELESS with the lenovo p2......
You're thinking only voltage my friend, check if your power bank can supply 2A at 12V. Probably no. Mostly all power banks bottlenecks at 1.5A.
So, there isn't a way to use another charger for fast charging?

my xiaomi power bank 2 20000mah does have qc3.0 and it's tested to arrive higher than 2A at 12v ... but even if other chargers are "only" capable to reach 12v at 1,5A ... it is still a missed quick charge because p2 uses proprietary charge coding
ok this is not THEp roblem, but just a con. like for dash charge people repeat at eveyone that oneplus is the fastes... but hey without an available dach charge power bank... that phone is s "joke"
I have another QC3.0 wall charger, when i plug to P2 it's out put at 2A only not fast charge.
But when i plug original charger from P2 to another phone fsst charge status is become.
???
How many times will you open new topic for the same problem ?

Any suggestions on Dash chargers for Z2plus ?

Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a dash charger for z2plus , I just used my friends OP5 dash charger for z2 plus it works like a champ. But OP5 dash charger is expensive like 2k, any other suggestions on chargers ??
Thanks in Advacne !
I would say.. don't go for anything except original charger.. it can fry some important diodes on your board and I am not kidding happened to me twice...
First time, battery was empty, and phone never woke up, I had just installed custom rom maybe because of that...
Second, exchanged phone, new phone, stock everything.. and it happened again..
Then I realized it was because of the 3t charger...
Read few posts, and found out if used some qc 3 chargers it can fry the diodes cx68 something..
Better read those post before investing money...
Nonsense! QC tech and Dash Charge tech are totally different. If used, any oneplus dash charger will charge your Z2+ like a normal charger and not any faster. Dash Charge Tech is Oneplus's Proprietary and won't work on any other company phones. And Regard to Best QC3 Chargers, Only and Only buy & use Qualcomm approved QC chargers. They are tested by Qualcomm and will almost never cause any issues. The List of approved chargers can be found on Qualcomm's website.

The Zuk Z2 plus cannot quick charge (No QC2/QC3), atleast yet. Some say the hardware isn't present in the device but i believe with the other group that say it's locked in kernel. In the Fans page, a dev has posted a mod to enable QC 9V charging on kernel level. If you or anyone has QC charger feel free to try it (UNDER YOUR OWN RISKS). At Stock Charging Capabilities, the device can charge with 5.25V 2.5A max. You don't need QC chargers for this, the lenovo charger that comes in box is more than enough.
zukfans.eu/ community/ threads/ request-quick-charge-support-qc-3-0.2526/
1.5A on screen en 2.5A off screen all by 5V are the best charge number the z2 plus can do, so it does charge good but it's doesn't benefit from a dash or quickcharger like one plus phones do.
Quickcharging is charging at higher voltages for the same or sometimes even more amps. and since A*V= Watts you put more and faster the power in your battery

USB PD vs. QC 3.0 (QC4.)?

I just purchased an LG G7 ThinQ on Verizon in the US, coming from an LG Optimus G Pro, purchased in 2013. It's being shipped right now, so I don't have it to play with.
With that said, I'm a newbie to quick charging. I see that the phone comes with a QC 3.0 block, and that the phone is listed as being QC 4.0 compatible, as per Qualcomm's website.
I'm looking to order all new cables and chargers to take advantage of the higher charging speeds that this phone can allow. I'm not understanding though whether I'd be better off buying a car charger that is QC 3.0 or has USB PD. I realize that the USB PD would be the way to go for laptops and larger items, but for our phone, is there any difference? I do realize that I'd need a dual-ended USB C cable for the PD charger.
Also, has anyone tried using a QC 4.0 charger on the phone, and although Qualcomm says the phone has the 4.0 hardware, has LG enabled us to use it?
So the LG chargers can deliver 9v 1.8A.
The phone will recognize my 18w and other 45w PD charger, but I haven't managed to see any difference in the charging speeds, and more annoying, charging is pretty slow when screen is on.
I wanna buy a USB meter (PD compatible) to see what's the phone actually asking for, but I assume that it just sits at 15w max.
The reason I have a PD charger is because it allows you to have longer USB-C cables and it's compatible across more devices, like I can fast charger my Huawei Mate 10 pro with it, you can also charge iPhones with it.

USB PD is an entirely different language than QC 2-4. They negotiate and handle power different from each other. If you plug USB PD into a QC device it should default to 5v, 1 or 2 amp standard charging.
Use only QC 3.0+ equipment. That will get you the rapid charge you're looking for as it speaks the right language for the phone. I dont believe LG has enabled QC4 standards in the firmware although the chip supports it.
LG G7 is also wireless rapid charge, i get an almost QC speed on a 15w ravpower and umdigi wireless pads. Took me a few to find ones that were quality and charged fast. Most of the "10w" chargers dont actually put out 10w so they dont charge fast.

QC 4.0 is actually compatible with Power Delivery, Qualcomm did that in fear that Google would make PD mandatory.
And there can be handshaking between previous QC devices and PD chargers, since the most basic profiles are kind of standard (max 9v 2A).
So in this way I can fast charge a S8, the LG G7 and any other QC device with the PD charger and I can charge other PD and QC devices with my Huawei fast charger power bank (it's based on QC 3 delivering max 9V 2A).

Funny i was just reading an article about that. I suspect that would be a firmware compatibility issue again, as in: did LG enable it.
Great feedback and perfect timing

I just wished that phones would support higher charging rates via the PD standard.
I'm mostly sure that neither the S8 nor the G7 are taking full advantage of the max power output of their charger for long.
I thought that the charger might be under delivering, but connecting my PD 18w charger results in the same situation, I still need to measure it (need to buy a USB meter to have more details).
But using the same 18w PD charger I can charge the Mate from 20 to 50% much faster than I can charge the G7.
