How To Root Dasaita Px3 - MTCD Android Head Units General

I've got a HA Dasaita PX3, 2 GB Unit running stock 7.1.2* i'm trying to root (want some sort of ad blocker)..
how do I go about doing this without changing the ROM? I've tried a few standard methods, but the unit just restarts.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Install @Hal9k_'s modded Nougat ROM which is de-odexed and rooted.

Yes but youl have to search the MTCD forum or use google to search it.
@Hal9k_'s ROM is completely factory apart from being rooted and de-odexed, it looks and feels like the factory ROM and has all the same features, it isnt a custom ROM (he is working on a custom version).

[Q] Where/Is there 4.4.2 stock rooted debloated etc? 210R

I'm new to the tab3 (210r) and checked out the roms and all that..
So I rooted got that all done but want to debloat, figured it would be easiest if someone has already done this and uploaded a rom.
The rom section is a mess. Anyone know the goto roms for this thing?
I'm cool with touchwiz or cm/aosp as long as its KK w/IR blaster still working.
Or whatever your favorite roms are, idk, seems most are outdated.
Thanks everyone!
No currently there isn't anyone on KitKat base.. Just tell me your Region(for the Rom) and I will debloat, root etc it for you! Waiting for your reply!

What are you talking about??? There are 4 roms using a KK base that I know of. NoleKat, TranchidaKat, Dragon and Hassan Rom. All of which are stock based, rooted, and debloated to different levels and all will work on his T210R.
I recommend Nolekat (of course) and IR does work with it. The only reason I used the Italy firmware as a base is because it has more languages built in.

Thanks I flashed NoleKat and it was exactly what I was looking for,
Thanks for your suggestions. I will check the other ones out too, but I think this is the DD for the Tab3.

Is there a stock Lollipop Rom for rooted users

No custom roms or anything like that. Just a stock 5.0 for those that want to upgrade without all the other stuff and still remain rooted. Is there one?

[Question] SM-T705, Lollipop, and Xposed

Guys, I am struggling to find a way to upgrade my T705 to Lollipop. This is my main phone, so I need a working radio and Xposed.
It seems that the options are either stock, and no Xposed, or various deodexed ROMS that are compatible with Xposed, but no fully working radio/calls.
Am I missing anything? What would you suggest?
There are at least two deodexed T705 LP ROMs with working radio (as they are based on T705 stock roms) that are supporting Xposed:
- Iron ROM V2.0: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/development/stock-tw-rom-galaxy-tab-s-8-4-t2995235
- SweetROM V1 T705: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61227464&postcount=172
Both ROMs require rooted stock LP fimware running on the tab before flashing. SweetROM is not coming with an own modem binary, so the orignal stock rom modem should be still active after flashing.
Best, maris

Hi,
Try to change the CSC to for example to BTU, then upgrade to Lollipop. It works on my Tab S. I say about stock.
I did it, because I still wait on the official firmware from S.
ODIN helps. Of course, you have to root your Tab again.
Benefits: you don't loose anything due the upgrade from KK to LP.
Xposed - not tested yet . Honestly, I don't need it. I leave without it after my hardware upgrade from SG4 to SG5, then SG6 . Believe me, you have lot of alternative stuff to survive without Xposed.
Good luck...
As I said, I need Xposed. Unfortunately, both deodexed ROMS have flaws (one is battery life). So, I guess we are back to square one...
Maybe someone here can help to deodex the stock LL ROM myself?
I also wondering the same, how to deodex the stock LL ROM so I can use Xposed. Not installing custom ROM...

same process (has worked on other LL roms and devices for me..in particular the tools to extract, deodex and then create flashable zip just for the system files which deletes the original ones and writes the deodexed ones into system app, priv app and framework folders)
in your case you can just get the system files from the zip rom as I needed to get them from the tar image (no zip roms yet for the s2)
had the s1 (or tab s as they may call it the 705) and also tab pro t325 before but quit those before LL came aboard on stock)

Who has a stock - rooted FOH3 rom?

Looking for a flashable M919UVUFOH3 stock rooted rom
Unless I can just upgrade and root it myself without needing a special kernel?
I rooted with king root and installed lollipop ROM with no issues.
Didn't use anything other then king root

i tried several. first was dirty unicorn (they still seem like the best an being familiar with it from s3)
then i tried radium 1.5 because dirty unicorn had issues with social apps....
then i flashed ressureraction remix due to radium home button being broken after flash (unable to go home with home button)
this has been my main rom.. though the update brought sim card issues (10/20/2015) the first one was a off date (3 updates ago) which was running amazing (though i have battery issues.) i also flash the saber kernel from i9505 fourms.
jfltexx works with jfltetmo... just stating this.

[Solved] I'm ROM-less :(

I accidentally forgot to make a backup before flashing a new ROM and now I'm stuck with no ROM! Please help if you can. Here's my phone's info:
HTC One M9 (Telus Canadian phone) Unlocked with S-ON.
Rooted with SuperSU and TWRP v2.8.7.0.
Currently, I only have access to fastboot and TWRP. I tried flashing Revolution HD and Viper and both of them install just fine, but right after installation, my phone boots to the bootloader and will not boot to the system no mater what I do. I tried going back to full-stock but I think I need S-Off for that which I have no clue how to do with no ROM. Plus fastboot won't even show me what my CID/MID numbers are to download the right stuff for my phone if I wanna go back to stock.
I just need a ROM to work. I don't care which one. What are my options? Is there a way unbrick my phone?
Thanks in advance!
Flash an lollipop ROM and all will be fine, you can't use MM without MM firmware
Powered by SkyDragon ROM

Marshmallow Firmware is what you would need to run latest rom. You could pay $25 and use sunshine to make yourself s-off and flash the latest marshmallow Firmware.

Thanks to you, now I have a ROM
But what's a near-stock Lollipop ROM you'd recommend? Because I just installed Candy5 and Sunshine didn't like it for being too far from stock.

For the original look you get when you buy it,I'd go with leedroid rom. For AOSP I'd go with slimroms or candy.
FYI, you can install a Marshmallow rom with firmware 2.1x when AOSP only. I tried a Cyanogenmod and was working perfectly with actual nightlies.
But for Sense rom, you will have to install firmware 3.x
Thank you guys for your help! @BR7fan you're a real life saver! Just a quick update:
I managed to get S-Off and now I guess I have to wait until firmware 3.x is released for Canadian phones as I could not get it on the HTC website as of yet. @gortys I ran Cyanogenmod all day today and got annoyed with the WiFi drops. It happens so frequently and as I understand, there's no stable build for the M9 yet. So I'm taking @BR7fan's advice and going with LeeDroid for now. Thanks for pointing out that I can get Marshmallow ROM's with my old firmware.

It's true that wifi isn't as responsive as with a Sense rom. I am actually running Android Revolution HD (Lollipop 5.1) with Elementalx kernel and I'd say that Sense rom are quite always more optimized. Waiting for official OTA to firmware 3.x to flash their marshmallow version of the rom.
Patience for all!!

Looks like the old Lollipop based LeeDroid has been taken down. I have a backup of it on my phone though. I'm uploading it to Google Drive right now but it's a 2 GB file so it won't be ready till tomorrow. I hope you find something else in the meantime, but if you didn't, check your inbox tomorrow, I'll share the link with you so you can download it.
Thanks, i'll be waiting
