[MOD] Aroma Magisk Module Maker 8.1 June Update - Google Pixel Themes, Apps, and Mods

Flash in TWRP.
This Aroma has all the mods from my normal Aroma but there is one last step. Like the other, you must flash one of the bases at the bottom of the Aroma first. One had stock WiFI-Data icons, one has up-down traffic arrows. Then flash any other mods you may like in any order. When done, flash the very first option which is the Magisk Module Maker. It will make a zip in a folder on your sdcard called magisk.zip. After you back out of the Aroma, go to that folder and flash that zip and reboot. I did notice that QS background doesn't play nicely with live wallpapers though that might be semi-transparent only.
The Aroma comes with the following options:
Comes in all bases
Full systemui tuner
Invisible Power button on far right side of Statusbar
Full 4 way rotation
4 column QS tiles
OPTIONAL. Up-down traffic arrows
Options
Clock positions and formats
Navbar height adjustment
Navbar Remover
3 Minit battery
Enabled stock WiFi-Data in-out arrows
Rainbow Battery
One Percent Battery Mod with 7 different batteries
Colored statusbar icons
Colored Navbar Icons
Colored Traffic speed meter up over down or separately. Up and down can be different colors.
Colored Notification Backgrounds
Colored Notification Text
Colored QS backgrounds
Colored QS text
Navbar swap of back and recents
Old Nexus statusbar icons option
Navbar remover (completely) 3,4,5,6,7 column QS options
Invisible power menu button in far right hand corner of statusbar. Tap closes the screen, long press brings up the power button menu. Now this option can go either, and, or on the NavBar too.
The 3 Column QS option is a mod. Flash a base first, then 3 Column. There are now mods for 5, 6, or 7 column QS.
If you want Navbar gone, flash the one that matches your Navbar height. Base is 36 dip. There are 3,4,5,6,7 QS column options for Navbar gone. (There is an option near the bottom for putting an invisible Home button on the left side of statusbar for those times when LMT or other 3rd party navbars don't kick in for whatever reason). Then can select other mods.
I don't know a much about Magisk but this evil themer-Magisk combo was made by djb77 at this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/app...theme-t3590766
I've tweaked it to get it to work with Pixels.
Magisk version 16.3 Aroma Module Maker uploaded 6-6-18
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=746163614322269180

Is the module it created supposed to be installable with Magisk? I get an error when I try. See attached image.

Good to know, thanks.

Hey Tulsa, I just updated to the Jan patch, and tried this out. I immediately get a systemui has crashed on boot. I tried just installing the base with 6qs, but no go. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I ran the installer in TWRP, selected the 6qs base, then selected to make the magisk.zip. then in TWRP,I installed the magisk zip.
Update
I reread your post and see my mistake. The 6qs is a mod, not a base. After flashing the actual base, everything is working. Thanks again, I appreciate your mods.

[MOD][THEME] CM11 XHDPI Light Blue Status Bar, Notification Row, Quicksettings.

MAY NOT WORK ON OTHER PHONES THAN LG p930/p935/p936. If you want to try it on another phone be sure to make a backup first just in case it doesn't work.
If your phone uses xhdpi folders than you can port this theme very easily just ask me how, if no one wants to i won't bother explaining.
Basically I think the white status bar is terribly boring and dull if you want to change this theme into another color post here or pm me i can give you instructions. I will be making these a full theme probably soon but that one will change almost everything which some people might not want. See the screenshots for more info, if you don't like it after you've installed you can flash a cm update or reflash last update and it'll go back to normal, if you install an update and want to switch back to that theme the same flashable should work unless they change some of the framework for the status bar (doesn't happen often). When that happens i can update this easily so just watch for an update.
Install instructions.
1) optional. --> make nandroid backup.
2) flash zip file
3) optional. --> wipe cache
4) reboot
- also removes compression on framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk.
- zipaligned for proper Ram performance; won't slow down your UI drawing like some themes.
- playstore status bar icons will be added in the full theme (they aren't in the files included in this patcher, they are in the playstore apk)
- removed annoying emergency call only reminders from the notification tray
- removed carrier label from status bars (except under the data icon in quicksettings if you chose to have that icon there) but took out the extra line at the bottom with it as it's useless.
- removed transparency from qs/notification tray
- themed recent apps screen
- please report any bugs or icons that i missed (sometimes if you use a feature i don't i may have missed something and not realized it)
-classes.dex files are not modified, this means the system is just as secure as original cyanogenmod. If you don't believe me you can use 7-zip to restore all the files in each apk except "res" folder and "resources.arsc". sometimes resources.arsc doesn't get modified either. If you decide to do this i recommend zipaligning the apk again.
- if you want the a link to the kernel i use and my settings to get your benchmark up like mine just ask.
- with the default cm kernel and no OC i was only getting like 10500 or something.

[MODv3] [NMF26V] NavBar Tuner, Additional QS Tile Rows, NavBar DPI - TWRP Flashable

**I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES TO YOUR DEVICE. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK**
**UPDATE v3 2017.01.04**
I've updated the mod to NMF26V. NMF26V increased the size of the NavBar to a ridiculous 48dpi, so I've had to add mod intermediate steps. I've also added 0dpi/0dpi, as some people have requested this. So far, I've tested each version and it has worked, but if you find an issue, let me know and I'll fix it. You can always return to stock.
The mods that can be applied are:
NavBar/StatusBar dpi
0dpi/0dpi
0dpi/20dpi
0dpi/24dpi
32dpi/24dpi
32dpi/20dpi
36dpi/24dpi
36dpi/20dpi
40dpi/24dpi
40dpi/20dpi
44dpi/24dpi
44dpi/20dpi
48dpi/20dpi
SystemUI Mods
NavBarUI Manager + Brightness
NavBarUI Manager + Brightness + 4 QS Tiles
NavBarUI Manager + Brightness + 4 QS Tiles + Battery Mod

**/UPDATE**
**UPDATE**
I've now used Aroma to make a TWRP flashable zip making this much easier to install.
Now in order to install, simply download the Stranula.Full.Flash.v2.zip reboot to TWRP recovery, install the zip, and select which mods you want. You can only select one SystemUIGoogle.apk and one framework-res.apk to install. I've also now included the stock apks, so you can easily revert back.
Download Stranula.Full.Flash.v2.zip
**/Update**
Coming from Galaxy devices, I got used to the "Back" button on the right and the "Recents" button on the left of the device, and have been trying to figure out a way to do this on the Pixel.
After looking at [MOD] - WETA UI Mods - [3MinitBattery][NavTuner][centerclock][navbarheight], I knew this had the answer, but I couldn't get it to work on NMF26Q, so after a bit of googling, I found this [MOD][GUIDE] Enable Navbar Tuner for Nougat [7.0] which gave me what I needed to make the mod myself. Finally, thanks to help from fritzgerald I also now know how to add the full battery % in the status bar instead of the battery icon (more details here [GUIDE] Add Battery % to Statusbar ! [Updated Stock 2.3+, CM9/10/10.1 etc -28.9.14])
I made 3 versions, and unless someone suggests a change that I would personally use, I do not intend to make any other changes, or respond to requests.
SystemUIGoogle-NavBar+Brightness.apk has the modifcation to add NavBar Tuner to the SystemUI Tuner as well as the option to remove the brightness slider from the dropdown.
SystemUIGoogle-NavBar+Brightness+4Tile.apk has the same, but additionally, when the full QS is pulled down, it will display 4 columns instead of 3.
SystemUIGoogle-NavBar+Brightness+4Tile+BatteryMod.apk has the same, but additionally has the battery % in the statusbar.

I've gone ahead and made a 0dpi, 32dpi, 36dpi, and 40dpi version. The 0dpi will leave you with no NavBar, so make sure you already have another option installed.
If this helps you, please say thanks!

3. Boot into TWRP Recovery
4. If it does not ask for your password, reboot to recovery again
5. Select Mount
5.1 Check System

6.1 Select File Manager
7. Navigate to /system/system/framework/
7.1 Long press framework-res.apk

8. Navigate to /sdcard/download/
8.1 Long press framework-res.apk
8.2 Select Copy File
9. Navigate to /system/system/framework/
10. Select the Check Mark in the bottom right corner to copy
11. Navigate to /system/system/framework/
11.1 Long press framework-res.apk

Framework Mods:
Disabled screen on/off on USB connect/disconnect.
40dp NavBar.
SystemUI Mods:
NavBar Tuner added to SystemUI Tuner
Disable Brightness added to SystemUI Tuner
QS Tiles increased to 6

It's an old mod, I just pulled it in to this framework. Haven't really modded since my SGS2 but figured I'd start it up again. Feel free to shoot a PM if you ever get stuck and want a second set of eyes.
I've updated this mod with a TWRP flashable zip file containing all of the mods in one. I don't have any testers, so I've only tested it myself, and so far everything is working.
If you happen to use these mods, and the installer, please let me know if everything works, or if you experience any problems.

just installed and working great! i got so used to the back button being on the other side, took some time to get used to it on the new phone, but now I realize I'm going to have to re-learn the buttons again since i'm finally used to them!
Thank you for this! Now if someone can just get a slide finger over status bar for brightness and volume keys for change track going i'll be all set!!!

Great, thanks for letting me know. I also want the brightness adjuster, I will start looking into that now.
I'll also look for the volume key thing, but uncertain if I'll find that one.

I'm really only proficient enough to implement changes other people have done the work to figure out. I was a bit more involved a couple of years ago, and this is my first jump into modding Nougat, so I'm still trying to refamiliarize myself. That being said, if you can point me to guides for Mods of interest, I can try to implement them.
Will this also work on NMF26O?

I haven't tried. My #1 recommendation is to update then install. However, if that was what you wanted to do, you wouldn't have asked.
So, my #2 recommendation is to go into TWRP, mount system, open file manager, rename /system/system/framework/framework-res.apk to framework-res.apk.bkk and /system/system/priv-app/SystemUIGoogle/SystemUIGoogle.apk to SystemUIGoogle.apk.bkk.
Now you've backed up your original files. Install my mods and reboot. If they work, awesome, let us know. If they do not, boot back into TWRP and restore your original files, then come back here and let us know.

I don't know what you mean.
If you don't want the navbar tweak, don't install the framework-res.apk.
The framework-res has the navbar dpi edits. The systemuigoogle has the other edits.

[rom][z00l][liquid dark][android 7.1.2_r27]

i guys,
I'm building an extra lean LineageOS 14.1 ROM for hammerhead with a few added features. A lot of packages have been stripped down, only the bare minimum is built to provide a fast and stable ROM. That gives you much more freedom as you can install exactly what you really want from the Playstore. You can install most of the missing packages manually, they are available in a flashable zip on the server (see second post).
My approach for DARK ROM 14.1 is slightly different than for DARK ROM 13, as I try to add as many Pixel features as possible while keeping a solid LineageOS base.
Key features
- Full OMS support (rootless)
- Signature spoofing support
- Pixel Launcher (with the provided GAPPS package)
- Pixel animated navbar (with on/off switch)
- Pixel sounds
- Pixel accent colors
- Pixel bootanimation with sound
- Rounded icons
- Google Assistant
- Night Light
- Night Light Brightness
- Choose between dialer and voice assistant in lockscreen
- Hide next alarm from expanded status bar and lockscreen
- Disable the boot animation sound
- Secure lockscreen (disables status bar pull down, quick settings tiles, power button and lockscreen shortcuts)
- Double tap the lock icon on the lockscreen to sleep
- Longpress power button while screen off to trigger flashlight
- Hide bluetooth icon when disconnected
- Volume steps
- Quick unlock pin/password
- Remove album art from lockscreen
- Date in status bar
- Battery bar
- Smart pulldown
- Volume button controls media volume anywhere
- Change navbar height
- Screenshot tile
- Caffeine tile
- Sync tile
- Reboot/recovery tile
- Music tile
- USB Tethering tile
- NFC tile
- Quick settings custom rows/columns
- Turn on/off mobile data with single click on collapsed quick settings
- Status bar ticker
- Separate ring and notification volume
- Specific color for 100% charged battery
- Prevent accidental wakeup
- Remove settings suggestions
- Show WiFi SSID in status bar
- Show carrier label in status bar
- Hide carrier label on the lockscreen (or rename to whatever you want)
- Hide the low battery warning notification
- Remove the orange status bar and navigation bar when in battery saver mode
- One hand mode
- Choose doze brightness
- Adjust animation scale precisely with a slider
- Dynamic nav bar color (changes color to the same of status bar)
- In-call vibration options (on connect, on call waiting and on disconnect)
SafetyNet
The ROM is already designed to pass SafetyNet out of the box. No need to lock the bootloader (which I advise you to do ONLY on a pure factory image install) because the kernel has the patch for it. If you want root, you'll need to install Magisk, which comes pre-rooted. Then, enable Magisk Hide in Magisk Manager, hard reboot and you should be good to go. Also, do not enable busybox in Magisk Manager, that will cause you to randomly lose root. You'll get all you need to know on the Magisk thread.
ViPER4Android/ViPER4Arise
The ROM is designed to work with both ViPER4Android and ViPER4Arise out of the box without the need for SuperSU or any Magisk module. The SEPolicy already contains the necessary permissions for them to work even in Enforcing. All you need to do is flash the package of your choice.
Installation
You will need latest radio (2.0.50.2.30) and latest bootloader (HHZ20h)
Latest TWRP recovery is highly recommended
If you want HDR to work, you will need to keep Google Camera 3.2.045 (all newer versions won't work)
If coming from any other ROM
- Backup first... always backup first
- Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache
- Install DARK ROM
- Install provided GAPPS (mandatory)
- Install root package of your choice (I recommend Magisk)
Enjoy !
If coming from a previous build of mine
- Backup (you know it)
- Dirty flash DARK ROM
- Install root package of your choice
Enjoy! (if anything goes wrong, clean flash)

ADB Mod installer Android 11

This is in place until TWRP is ready. You need root and of course you need to be attached to your PC. On first installation of systemui base, a pop-up asking to give ADB shell root permission will show. Please do so.
The purpose of this installer is to generate for you a custom module that you can flash in Magisk Manager. It will have all the mods that you have selected from the installer menu.
Custom clocks (date, etc) and internet speed indicators do not change colors due to light-dark background colors like the statusbar icons do.
The developer of Active edge gave me permission to use his base so that people would not have to make a choice between his and my mods. All credit for this goes to him. You must delete the active edge sense module and use one of my active edge modules. If it doesn't say active edge then it isn't active edge sense compatible. If there is an issue with edge sense after flashing, do not contact edge sense op with issues. He does not troubleshoot modified versions of his mod (and neither do I).
I'm also including my Pixel Launcher mod. Also a ADB Installer. You can change app drawer background-text color (separately for light mode and dark mode), remove weather from Launcher. Change the number of hot seat icons on home page (and size) as well as change the number of columns in the app drawer.
ADB Installer Instructions-Root is required
1. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work.
2. FLASH ALL THE MODS YOU WANT. ONCE YOU DONE WITH EVERYTHING, FLASH THE "COMPLETE INSTALLATION" Option. This will create a Magisk Manager flashable zip in a folder on your sdcard called ozop. Flash that to install your selection of mods.
Root required
Instructions.
1. Unzip ADB Mods Installer Files.zip on your PC
2. Run TulsadiverModsInstaller.bat (Give ADB Root Permissions)
3. ADB debugging Enabled
4. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work
5. Go through the other options selecting what all mods you want. It is generally best to start at the top and work your way down.
6. Once finished with selections, run "Complete Installation" at the bottom. This will generate your mymagisk.zip module in a folder called "ozop" on your sdcard.

@Tulsadiver is there a center clock option with this? Or just left and right

There are center clock options. Only the "center clock" option turns dark on light statusbars and visa versa. The others are text clocks and therefore stay white ( unless you choose to set a statusbar icons color).

Thank you, I got everything to work except selecting more in a row for qs tiles. That's the only one that wouldn't install after selecting and pressing enter. This is great, I appreciate you putting the navbar swap back in.

I just installed the stock like bases because I'm using Swift theme installer, do I need to pick a colored one I've never used a colored one on any of the other pixels. I want 5 column. I did try the other 2 columns in there they wouldn't install. I love having 3 minit battery back, and center clock

I did the bases first, then everything else together. I tried going in and doing the 5 column again after the reboot

I think I found the problem. Take this zip. Rename it by taking .zip off of the name (it wasn't actually zipped), replace the file in the bats folder with this one and try again.

An updated installer has been uploaded to op.
We're you able to add and get 3 minit battery to work?
I have Swift Installer in place now .... All looks good, including notifications (that sometimes get jacked up)
I just would like Center Clock, 3 minit Battery (without stock) , and 6 or 7 QS tiles ...... I'd it possible to just add those things without messing up the Swift installer theming??
BTW. Thank you for your work

I'm not sure how you have your adb environment set up. I have mine so I can do it from anywhere. I would try the command adb devices wherever you have that file saved and make sure your phone's communicating with it. And if that doesn't work you probably going to have to save it wherever your platform tools is saved. I'm not sure.

This might work on G9750 as well. You can try it and if there's issues, just remove the module or restore a backup.

Furthermore this is NOT a module. It is a ROM it replaces the operating system on your device therefore making it no longer carrier specific with some added goodies.
Can't believe it took me this long to find this. Works great.
