ADB Mod installer Android 11 - Google Pixel 3a XL Themes, Apps, and Mods

This is in place until TWRP is ready. You need root and of course you need to be attached to your PC. On first installation of systemui base, a pop-up asking to give ADB shell root permission will show. Please do so.
The purpose of this installer is to generate for you a custom module that you can flash in Magisk Manager. It will have all the mods that you have selected from the installer menu.
Custom clocks (date, etc) and internet speed indicators do not change colors due to light-dark background colors like the statusbar icons do.
The developer of Active edge gave me permission to use his base so that people would not have to make a choice between his and my mods. All credit for this goes to him. You must delete the active edge sense module and use one of my active edge modules. If it doesn't say active edge then it isn't active edge sense compatible. If there is an issue with edge sense after flashing, do not contact edge sense op with issues. He does not troubleshoot modified versions of his mod (and neither do I).
I'm also including my Pixel Launcher mod. Also a ADB Installer. You can change app drawer background-text color (separately for light mode and dark mode), remove weather from Launcher. Change the number of hot seat icons on home page (and size) as well as change the number of columns in the app drawer.
ADB Installer Instructions-Root is required
1. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work.
2. FLASH ALL THE MODS YOU WANT. ONCE YOU DONE WITH EVERYTHING, FLASH THE "COMPLETE INSTALLATION" Option. This will create a Magisk Manager flashable zip in a folder on your sdcard called ozop. Flash that to install your selection of mods.
Root required
Instructions.
1. Unzip ADB Mods Installer Files.zip on your PC
2. Run TulsadiverModsInstaller.bat (Give ADB Root Permissions)
3. ADB debugging Enabled
4. Flash one of the SystemUI Bases First. They provide the necessary smali files and public ID's for everything to work
5. Go through the other options selecting what all mods you want. It is generally best to start at the top and work your way down.
6. Once finished with selections, run "Complete Installation" at the bottom. This will generate your mymagisk.zip module in a folder called "ozop" on your sdcard.

There are center clock options. Only the "center clock" option turns dark on light statusbars and visa versa. The others are text clocks and therefore stay white ( unless you choose to set a statusbar icons color).

Thank you, I got everything to work except selecting more in a row for qs tiles. That's the only one that wouldn't install after selecting and pressing enter. This is great, I appreciate you putting the navbar swap back in.

I just installed the stock like bases because I'm using Swift theme installer, do I need to pick a colored one I've never used a colored one on any of the other pixels. I want 5 column. I did try the other 2 columns in there they wouldn't install. I love having 3 minit battery back, and center clock

I think I found the problem. Take this zip. Rename it by taking .zip off of the name (it wasn't actually zipped), replace the file in the bats folder with this one and try again.

An updated installer has been uploaded to op.

We're you able to add and get 3 minit battery to work?
I have Swift Installer in place now .... All looks good, including notifications (that sometimes get jacked up)
I just would like Center Clock, 3 minit Battery (without stock) , and 6 or 7 QS tiles ...... I'd it possible to just add those things without messing up the Swift installer theming??
BTW. Thank you for your work

I'm not sure how you have your adb environment set up. I have mine so I can do it from anywhere. I would try the command adb devices wherever you have that file saved and make sure your phone's communicating with it. And if that doesn't work you probably going to have to save it wherever your platform tools is saved. I'm not sure.

[MOD] Transparent/Grey Background QS For Stock Lollipop 5.0.2

Samlekom...
Mod SystemUI :
Background QS Tiles Coloured as Grey that will looks like AOSP, and
Transparent Background QS Tiles.
Credits to :
@GuestStar & Ilya020287 from 4pda.ru for the GreyColour.
Update! 20171201 :
- Now background QS Tiles has the same color as header
-Added background QS GreyColour for S030 Firmware (before it was only for S059) *need root
Link (All in one SystemUI Mod & Stock) :
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6DpzXcsAckTdjNXZ2xESFJ6dU0
Issues/Glitch : Flashing SystemUIMod-GreyColour_S030.zip will give you blank wallpaper, invisible statusbar & recent apps won't appeared.
Workaround Install :
1. You have to Root your phone with SuperSU-v2.76 (Latest version seems broke the AutoRotation)
2. Intall it by using step number 2.
There's TWO DIFFERENT Steps :
• Just flash the Flashable.zip with TWRP Recovery. Reboot.
• You have to ROOT YOUR PHONE & Use any file manager that support root mode. Extract SystemUI-GreyColour_S030.zip, copy file SystemUI.apk then paste it into folder root/system/priv-app/SystemUI/here (overwrite it). Make sure the app permission inside the folder is 644 (rw-r-r). Then pull down the statusbar will reboot the SystemUI. Done! *Recommend this because the effect will showup directly.
NOTE! :
• Make sure you take a backup first as always. So, if something bad happen you can revert it back.
• I recommending to anyone who wanted to use this mod systemui to ROOT their phone first. To avoiding glitch.

[MOD] Fullscreen Caller Photo - Poppuri FullScreen Photo 6.0.1 (Aroma) MOD

Fullscreen caller photo based on Poppuris Mod for S6 Edge. All credits @poppuri . Flash in custom recovery , Aroma installer, option to choose 6 kind of fullscreen caller ui.
original thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/s6-...poppuri-fullscreen-photo-6-0-1-aroma-t3338302
Set dpi to 560.
If you do not know what you do pls do not do it.
The flashable files from the original thread make system crash !!!!!!!
Use only the attached file below !
The installer modify only the Incallui.apk .
The incalloriginal.zip restores the original incallui.apk. In this case my original Incallui.apk (big white caller ui from Carotix).
You can make your own flashable backup : save your original apk and put into the zip with 7zip, replace mine.
For example if you will use the namenumberwhite version the backup way will : incalloriginal.zip\poppuri\namenumberwhite\system\priv-app\InCallUI\Incallui.apk replace it with your original and ready the flashable backup.
You can change the unknown (default) caller picture too if replace the wallpaper.png in the Incallui.apk (with 7zip on PC) with your choosen. I use the attached wallpaper.png as base (to keep the size) of the modified one.

I attached a wallpaper.png . I modifed that in Photoshop using the new one . Copy paste into the original png ,check the size, merge down , save. Choose the style what you want to modify. (That will your choose in Aroma installer) Replace the new wallpaper.png in the zip file inside the apk in the choosen style folder. On the attached pic the choosen style is : name, number with white letter. You can see the structure. When you stepping back upper in the structure 7zip will ask about the modification inside the apk and you have to confirm it. The full process is shorter than write it down ...
Set the DPI as I wrote.

That is not the statusbar, only the empty place of it (noncovered by the caller's picture). You have right best solution to ask the original dev.
I use a 'fake' immersive mode by the launcher (Nova) and force immersive (per app) xposed modul so I see the statusbar only during calls.

I know, my statusbar wasn't modified to be transparent that's why it showed it in black but now I fixed it, it is transparent and perfect, I changed the wallpaper to the Throne from GoT it is amazing. Btw, if u want full Immersive mode, where the statusbar is completely gone and the apps go full screen giving u a bit more screen to work with download the app All in one gestures, it has a hidden immersive mode feature, u will find it plus u can have gestures from the edges of the phone(swipe from the edge to go back) it is a very useful app.

[MODv3] [NMF26V] NavBar Tuner, Additional QS Tile Rows, NavBar DPI - TWRP Flashable

**I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES TO YOUR DEVICE. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK**
**UPDATE v3 2017.01.04**
I've updated the mod to NMF26V. NMF26V increased the size of the NavBar to a ridiculous 48dpi, so I've had to add mod intermediate steps. I've also added 0dpi/0dpi, as some people have requested this. So far, I've tested each version and it has worked, but if you find an issue, let me know and I'll fix it. You can always return to stock.
The mods that can be applied are:
NavBar/StatusBar dpi

0dpi/20dpi
0dpi/24dpi
32dpi/24dpi
32dpi/20dpi
36dpi/24dpi

I've now used Aroma to make a TWRP flashable zip making this much easier to install.
Now in order to install, simply download the Stranula.Full.Flash.v2.zip reboot to TWRP recovery, install the zip, and select which mods you want. You can only select one SystemUIGoogle.apk and one framework-res.apk to install. I've also now included the stock apks, so you can easily revert back.

**/Update**
Coming from Galaxy devices, I got used to the "Back" button on the right and the "Recents" button on the left of the device, and have been trying to figure out a way to do this on the Pixel.
After looking at [MOD] - WETA UI Mods - [3MinitBattery][NavTuner][centerclock][navbarheight], I knew this had the answer, but I couldn't get it to work on NMF26Q, so after a bit of googling, I found this [MOD][GUIDE] Enable Navbar Tuner for Nougat [7.0] which gave me what I needed to make the mod myself. Finally, thanks to help from fritzgerald I also now know how to add the full battery % in the status bar instead of the battery icon (more details here [GUIDE] Add Battery % to Statusbar ! [Updated Stock 2.3+, CM9/10/10.1 etc -28.9.14])
I made 3 versions, and unless someone suggests a change that I would personally use, I do not intend to make any other changes, or respond to requests.
SystemUIGoogle-NavBar+Brightness.apk has the modifcation to add NavBar Tuner to the SystemUI Tuner as well as the option to remove the brightness slider from the dropdown.
SystemUIGoogle-NavBar+Brightness+4Tile.apk has the same, but additionally, when the full QS is pulled down, it will display 4 columns instead of 3.
SystemUIGoogle-NavBar+Brightness+4Tile+BatteryMod.apk has the same, but additionally has the battery % in the statusbar.

It's an old mod, I just pulled it in to this framework. Haven't really modded since my SGS2 but figured I'd start it up again. Feel free to shoot a PM if you ever get stuck and want a second set of eyes.
I've updated this mod with a TWRP flashable zip file containing all of the mods in one. I don't have any testers, so I've only tested it myself, and so far everything is working.
If you happen to use these mods, and the installer, please let me know if everything works, or if you experience any problems.

Great, thanks for letting me know. I also want the brightness adjuster, I will start looking into that now.
I'll also look for the volume key thing, but uncertain if I'll find that one.

Any chance one of the options for adding a button to the nav bar could be "take a screenshot"?

I'm really only proficient enough to implement changes other people have done the work to figure out. I was a bit more involved a couple of years ago, and this is my first jump into modding Nougat, so I'm still trying to refamiliarize myself. That being said, if you can point me to guides for Mods of interest, I can try to implement them.
Will this also work on NMF26O?

I haven't tried. My #1 recommendation is to update then install. However, if that was what you wanted to do, you wouldn't have asked.
So, my #2 recommendation is to go into TWRP, mount system, open file manager, rename /system/system/framework/framework-res.apk to framework-res.apk.bkk and /system/system/priv-app/SystemUIGoogle/SystemUIGoogle.apk to SystemUIGoogle.apk.bkk.
Now you've backed up your original files. Install my mods and reboot. If they work, awesome, let us know. If they do not, boot back into TWRP and restore your original files, then come back here and let us know.

I don't know what you mean.
If you don't want the navbar tweak, don't install the framework-res.apk.
The framework-res has the navbar dpi edits. The systemuigoogle has the other edits.

[MOD] Aroma Magisk Module Maker 8.1 June Update

Flash in TWRP.
This Aroma has all the mods from my normal Aroma but there is one last step. Like the other, you must flash one of the bases at the bottom of the Aroma first. One had stock WiFI-Data icons, one has up-down traffic arrows. Then flash any other mods you may like in any order. When done, flash the very first option which is the Magisk Module Maker. It will make a zip in a folder on your sdcard called magisk.zip. After you back out of the Aroma, go to that folder and flash that zip and reboot. I did notice that QS background doesn't play nicely with live wallpapers though that might be semi-transparent only.
The Aroma comes with the following options:
Comes in all bases
Full systemui tuner
Invisible Power button on far right side of Statusbar
Full 4 way rotation
4 column QS tiles
OPTIONAL. Up-down traffic arrows
Options
Clock positions and formats
Navbar height adjustment
Navbar Remover
3 Minit battery
Enabled stock WiFi-Data in-out arrows
Rainbow Battery
One Percent Battery Mod with 7 different batteries
Colored statusbar icons
Colored Navbar Icons
Colored Traffic speed meter up over down or separately. Up and down can be different colors.
Colored Notification Backgrounds
Colored Notification Text
Colored QS backgrounds
Colored QS text
Navbar swap of back and recents
Old Nexus statusbar icons option
Navbar remover (completely) 3,4,5,6,7 column QS options
Invisible power menu button in far right hand corner of statusbar. Tap closes the screen, long press brings up the power button menu. Now this option can go either, and, or on the NavBar too.
The 3 Column QS option is a mod. Flash a base first, then 3 Column. There are now mods for 5, 6, or 7 column QS.
If you want Navbar gone, flash the one that matches your Navbar height. Base is 36 dip. There are 3,4,5,6,7 QS column options for Navbar gone. (There is an option near the bottom for putting an invisible Home button on the left side of statusbar for those times when LMT or other 3rd party navbars don't kick in for whatever reason). Then can select other mods.
I don't know a much about Magisk but this evil themer-Magisk combo was made by djb77 at this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/app...theme-t3590766
I've tweaked it to get it to work with Pixels.
Magisk version 16.3 Aroma Module Maker uploaded 6-6-18
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=746163614322269180
Is the module it created supposed to be installable with Magisk? I get an error when I try. See attached image.

Good to know, thanks.
Hey Tulsa, I just updated to the Jan patch, and tried this out. I immediately get a systemui has crashed on boot. I tried just installing the base with 6qs, but no go. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I ran the installer in TWRP, selected the 6qs base, then selected to make the magisk.zip. then in TWRP,I installed the magisk zip.
Update
I reread your post and see my mistake. The 6qs is a mod, not a base. After flashing the actual base, everything is working. Thanks again, I appreciate your mods.

March update has been uploaded.

Increased status bar icon spacing after PIE update

After upgrading MI A2 Lite to android P i noticed that space betwen notification icons in status bar (to the left of notch) was increased.
As a result, the number of icons that can be displayed without the appearance of the point (that mean further incons hidden) was reduced from 3 to 2. thus, when i have 3 or more notifications, only one icon is displayed plus the point. that is very ugly for me.
I want to know if there are a way to edit that "value" changed. I was exploring the "systemui tuner" app, but there isnt an option for this setting.
Anyone have some idea? My device is not rooted but im considering to do it very soon.
Im attaching an image to compare.
Thank you!

You are right. That, adding to those annoying arrows icons besides network, make status bar useless.
Mi a2 lite Status bar bugs
In addition, Android p experience is great so far on Mi A2 lite but there's still an issue with status bar.. Previously on oreo,The height of the notch and the status bar were equal but after pie update the status bar height overpasses the notch leaving a black space (of like 2 to 3 mm) in between the notch and the quick settings panel This is clear once you pull down the quick settings panel as shown in the attachment below??,, is this a bug or? Or is there a way to adjust that space without root
This is the most annoying thing I've found in Android P. You can't almost see any notification. Does anyone know if this is editable somehow?

You can in the developer options -> "smallest width" the DPI screw.
I have it e.g. set to 512. Now, next to the clock, there are 4 more icons to match.
If the desktop is too small, most launcher users can set custom icon and font sizes.

Simple Way To Get System UI Tuner On Android P Preview (Without Installing Nova Launcher Or Using ADB Commands)
1. Download QuickShortCutMaker
2. In the search bar (in the app) type in "Demo Mode"
3. Click on the "System UI" option
4. Click on the "System UI demo mode" option that appears after clicking on "System UI"
5. Click the "Try" button
There you go, you can now access the system UI tuner again, without having to install nova launcher
http://www.kepfeltoltes.eu/view.php?filename=469notch.jpg
5. A2Lite Settings, display, special, displayed size, minimum value
Best way to handle this
Hey guys i had the update yesterday and always had a tiny white dot popping up instead 4G symbol and the vibration mode symbol...extremely annoying as i first thought i have some hidden notifications!!
Forget about Nova Launcher or any **** just download and install UI Tuner Launcher from the PlayStore. Actually it is a shortcut to the system UI. Open it, go the status bar, battery - battery percentage only when loading (my system is in german so i don't know the exact words for this option). That's for now the best option! The problem are these silly down and upload arrows beneath the connection symbol! I found no option to remove them! If you pull down the status bar battery percentage is still shown at the top so you can always check if you want an accurate battery status!
Another option is maybe to set the font size to minimal as the battery percentage in standard font size is extremely huge
Let's hope for another update on this issue!
PS: ho to upload pictures here?
thanks for the tip "UI Tuner Launcher" but it doesn't solve the initial issue of this topic...
I have the same issue,, if someone know how to fix it please tell us
sorry
ah yeah sorry!
than actually change screen settings (font, depth etc...) to minimal or in the dev.opt. as described above! 512 dpi! theres nothing else in the moment!
i think there is a way... the space could be modified by editing the value in "status_bar_icon_padding" of the file SystemUI/res/values/dimens.xml
But for it is required to decompile SystemUI.apk > edit > recomplile and inject it to the system partition. my device is not rooted yet, but i will do it and test this soon.
I found a little solution for our problem, but only into rooting phone: download the apk file https://apkpure.com/disable-network-activity-indicator-rro-8-0-only/com.keypressure.disable_network_activity_indicator, rename the file in "com.keypressure.disable_network_activity_indicator.apk" ,put in system/app, edit the autorizzation in rw-r--r-- and reboot the phone.
After the boot the arrow keys they should missing. The apk is a little app "Disable Network Activity Indicator RRO (8.0 Only)" that you can find in the play store, only that are impossible installing to Pie because is working only for Oreo.
With to the system wich I described, it working also in Pie.
