[Q] Bootloop

Hi friends,
I was using aroma ROM on my xperia arc S unlocked bootloader, when i'm trying to install Atomic JB via CWM I forgot to flash the kernal. As a result my phone is in bootloop, I'm trying to flash the kernal of Atomic JB using flashboot or qucikIMG i'm getting the below error. Please any one help me out of this issue.

According to the log, your bootloader is not unlocked. Try to unlock it again. Which method did you use the first time?

Well did u flash stock?
And then install it the correct way?

It was already unlocked bootloader since the beginning, I used Aroma ROM first, then i used Atomic Jb. I never unlocked the boot loader since it is already unlocked.
Is it the reason of the rom it got locked. If yes, how do i unlock it bcos i'm able to do fastboot and fastmode only

No friend, I'm a noob. Pls guide me how to do it, I changed two custome rom and the last one which i didnt flash kernal, Flash stock means will it go to Gingerbread??

Jst flash stock gingerbread or ics
I am sure u can find ftf files in the general section
Flash them the phone shud boot and then follow the instructions for the rom

Atomic JB? Where did you got Atomic JB?

No, your boatloader is locked... How did you think that it's unlocked if yourself didn't unlock it...

I have unloked the bootloader using instruction given by Sony, Then i flash the IMG kernel with QuickIMG now its working fine. I really appreciate your help guys, Thanks once again

[SOLVED]boota / bootb patition doesn't exist

Tried flashing Official firmware from Google and when it tries to flash boot (regardless of boot slot) it says

I believe 1.0.36 is the latest?

SOLVED!

I have same problem as the OP. I am using Linux and I have adb version 1.0.36
Any ideas?

This was back from 2016, I believe updating was the fix.
Sorry for the lousy answer, I can't remember that far back.

Lenovo Vibe P1 TWRP flashing issue

So I'm trying to flash TWRP onto my Vibe P1 (p1a42) with ADB, yet every time I try, with any image file I always get the same thing.
sending 'recovery'
OKAY
writing 'recovery'
FAILED (remote: invalid signature and data)
My bootloader is unlocked and no other thread has managed to help me, so I decided I'll try my luck here.
This is my first post on XDA so I'm sorry if I got anything wrong.
Thanks for any help I can get.

unlocking bootloader in stock MM

Hi,
I have a Z00A and it just got back from RMA. It returned with MM, so I want to install twrp and Lineage. I have read many tutorials on unlocking the BL but they all seem to refer to Lolipop.
I read somewhere that to unlock the MM BL, you must downgrade do lolipop. Is this the current method of unlocking the BL?
I tried to to install twrp in fastboot, but it seems that my device is not recognized by my computer in fastboot (I'm running Fedora Linux), maybe because it is with the locked BL.
Any help is much appreciated.

Just a follow up. I tried to flash the recovery:
bash-4.3$ sudo fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.0.2-0-Z00A.img
