How yo revert back to Previous Version ?F240s

Since i`v installed the 10w update motion sensores were stoped
Working how can i go back to the previous version?

Make a factory reset and if the problem isn't solved try to reflash the update

[Guide][How To] Unpack/Repack Kernel [Windows/Linux]

Hi Guys.... i m trying to editing ramdisk of our redmi 1s kernel but it always failed in repacking, after hours of search i was able to find a perfect tool which can unpack/repack kernel perfectly by Cofface (Win Version) and Xiaolu (Linux Version) (recommended)
So no more talk here how to
Windows User :
You don't need to do much..i already made a batch file
simply paste your kernel/boot.img in a folder with the tool (see attachment)
and then
*To unpack the kernel
open unpack_bootimg.bat
*To repack the kernel
open repack_bootimg.bat
that's it.. enjoy editing :good:
Note : This will only works for redmi 1s kernel.... to make work on other device see post 2
Linux User :
I recommended this tool by xiaolu over the windows one, its works perfect for me

no that wont possible untill we get kernel source..this is only for editing ramdisk

we have the kernel source for xolo q1100 which have very close specification to redmi 1s.

if some how we able to compile & boot the kernel by some hacking it not a worth shot....i tried two hacked kernel first on my Mxx A110 and second on Mxx a116.....both kernel are good but not better than stock one (may cuz its mediatek cant say)
so its better to wait for OEM source...or until we can try this aslo
i m willing to try but my bad i dont have much space in my pc

I use this tool for unpack repack the boot.img for xiaomi redmi2 td ( hm2014813 ) , cause cygwin kitchen corrupts xiaomi kernels and i can't repack it.
But even if it seems that everything goes well , unfortunately after flashing the new boot.img , phone goes to bootloop and i lost also twrp recovery.
Can you help me to unpack-repack xiaomi kernel correctly ?????
Or if you know why this happened to xiaomi kernels , i never faced such an issue at any other boot.img , except from xiaomi phones....

i use this carliv kitchen long time ago, works with xiaomi or other phone w/o prob, give it a shot

Cygwin corrupts boot.img.
This tool seems that repack it well but i wasn't right.
I'll try also with carliv kitchen and will see..... hope to work with xiaomi's boot.img

I read that is for redmi1s , but i thought that it will be similar with redmi2s , that's why i try it and fail.

yes its inside bootinfo.text....
open repack_bootimg.bat with any text editor and replace the "console=xx" with with your boot one,
save it and run

Do not update to android 6.0.1!

im from iraq and i downloaded the new marshamallow firmware thru odin (Update,without format or restore)
everything is awesome
except that the battery is draining
the charging is slower
and the device is heating
any recommendations for me if im wrong?

In my case 5.1.1 also used to drain battery fast.
I just got the OTA 6.0.1 G928C here in Sri Lanka and I did notice the battery takes a lil longer to charge.
Also, before in 5.1.1 in the battery usage Android System was the biggest drainer which has now changed (rightfully?) to the screen.
I'm charging this fully right now to see the overnight drain as it used to be crazy before. And by tomorrow I'll know for sure how good/bad the drain is battery wise.
Other than that the update is fine and smooth.

Are you knox 0X1 or 0X0?
If you are knox 0X1 this is the reason fuss battery drain, like Note 5 on mm.
And of course you need a factory reset for this main update.

Only Samsung knows that.
If you read at Note 5 thread you will see this issue and there is a fix from devs about that.
Everyone updated on mm with knox 0X1 had battery drain and this is a fact.

God forbid.
Where will these ideas with knox 0x1 = drain?
You need factory reset after flash with Odin or after OTA and all is OK.

To 6.0.1 for G925f or G920f everything is ok.No drain issue.

That's good news.
But all here just want the best for our phones and it's helpful to share our experiences from others thread. Im owner of note 5 too and the battery drain causing from tripped knox is a fact .
So maybe I'm wrong but I wanted to share my experience from note 5 and marshmallow update with battery drain.

Actually he's right.. I have knox tripped and I went back to latest 5.1.1 few days ago and android system used somewhere between 30-40% battery and battery drained REALLY fast.. I'd say about twice as fast as normal. Clicking on Android system, to see what is in that group, reveals a lot of knox related stuff. I tried reflashing via odin and factory reset a few times but the issue remained. Then I read of this problem and flashed arter kernel yesterday and battery is back to normal and as it deletes knox completely android system now drains about 1-3% and when clicking on it there's no more knox entries...
My guess would be that as knox is tripped, it doesnt really work anymore, but deep in the system there's still a lot of knox related stuff and there's a conflict or something that causes it to drain battery..

So I just checked mine too and my Knox is 0x1. Probably the original seller did some flashing before I got the phone as it was an imported device. Probably explains the crazy battery drain I had in 5.1.1.
I didn't really go thru XDA and thought it was a pretty common issue and waited for MM.
Should I just go ahead with a factory reset and re-flash MM? Does that clear out Knox?

OK so my battery drain is crazy as I woke up in the morning with the phone being very hot and it had drained to 23% from c. 70% with Android OS being the culprit. So I have the same issue as 5.1.1. So probably the Knox issue 0x1 is the culprit here.
Gonna read around and see what I can do about this. This is just annoying cuz when I got this device I thought I'm done with down with tinkering.

I can confirm that it does NOT trip knox. Flashed G928C firmware on my G928F with no problems. Just follow the exact instructions in the [HOW-TO] Android 6.0.1 working on SM-G928F! thread!

Sm a510f stuck on first logo

Hello ...i am a technician and for the vwry first time i cant solve this problem with sm a510f.
The device for some how it has bricked.
Now i cant get into recovery mode probably because of re-activation blocked.
I can get into download mode.
The device stuck on first logo as shown on picture and cant get on SAMSUNG logo or further.
I cant flash CF AUTO ROOT or TWRP or downgraded to LOLYPOP 5.1.1 which i have the 4 files repair firmware probably because FRP is on.
I can only flash both of MASMARLOW 6.0.1 and NOUGAT 7.0
Even everything i tried the device cant go any further than the first logo.
Is anyone can help me?

Sorry bur i cant post the picture.
The first logo that i mean is when device boots it show SAMSUNG GALAXY A5 6 POWERD BY ANDROID.
