do you have the china AL10 version?
if yes download full Firmware and flash via adb
if you have India Version no chance to go back to stock without full firmware

Usually you do a twrp backup before you flash something else

Where to get the new 4.16.401.13 firmware to download?

I want to update my one m8 to 4.16.401.13 firmware
but i cannot find a download link anywhere
can someone please provide with one?
Thanks
I came across this - https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347804336
I am not sure if it's a RUU or a TWRP Nandroid Backup (I'm guessing the latter), but I guess you can extract the firmware from it?

Yes it's a nandroid backup. The firmware won't be included. TWRP doesn't backup firmware.

There are no 4.16.401.13 modified firmwares or RUUs available AFAIK. It was a small incremental update that apparently wasn't big enough to warrant the effort.
I'm still on 4.16.401.10 and have never felt the need to update. Never even looked into it till now. I wouldn't worry about it.
Edit: xparent Tapatalk doesn't want to do quotes anymore for some reason

Thank you all and have a good week

Thanks for that, mate! If I remove the recovery.img file from the zip file, it will work but TWRP will not be flashed, correct?

Recovering my Galaxy Tab S

Hello developers and users,
I wanted to unroot my tablet but I accidentally deleted the OS but am still in the TWRP recovery mode. I wanted to try using a different root on the tablet but didn't know how. Is there a way that I can still flash the stock ROM into this device despite me deleting the OS?
I have a T-800.
Just flash the backup you made with twrp or boot to Download mode from twrp then flash the stock firmware.
Did you try to wipe in twrp and flash stock with Odin?

Yeah I did, and initial tab screen keeps popping up but no more. I tried to flash the stock rom and nothing.

---------- Post added at 05:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:22 PM ----------
Or you can download the full b162 and force install from sd card with the three bottom way
I saw your thread but I don't want to install twrp, unlocked, root etc.
That's why I asked for a full dload version.... Instead my first cast file was C636... If I don't find the proper C636B103 version I will flash again C636B170 to return to my cast version... I just want to have my phone from start...

Isn't that your EFS Backup? Not sure you should be sharing that as it contains your IMEI if I'm not mistaken?
Just flash the original OOS 3.2.4 or if it was already installed, you should be automatically on latest firmware. AFAIK CM zips do not include firmware files.

How to root redmi note 8?

Hi all, I was just wondering if anybody has any idea how to root this device with magisk successfully. I have tried flashing twrp via fastboot then flashing magisk via twrp but when I reboot it only takes me to twrp again. I've also tried patching stock boot.img via magisk manager and then flashing the patched boot.img still wont reboot to system. If anybody here knows how to root this device please reply, thanks

I tried mine, but it got stucked at booting into twrp mode.
I flashed cn twrp into cn rom and then I flashed global rom thru twrp and keep booting into Twrp..
---------- Post added at 04:38 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:36 AM ----------
Then I flashed fastboot cn rom but somehow it became global rom with " find device closed unexpectedly" and also goes into xiaomi recovery mode.
Did you try rooting with SR5-SuperSU-v2.82-SR5.zip?
---------- Post added at 07:36 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:32 AM ----------
You might need to flash Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt.zip as well.
Is it possible to install Global Rom on the Chinese version?
i had flashed some roms but the system partion of these still encrypted。
I solved the problem by flashing a hacked rom which truly decrypted systempartion。
so i think twrp (the current one)cannot help to decrypt systempartion

So is this a problem with twrp and not magisk being incompatible with the device? Should we just wait for official twrp?
