The FM transmitter has QC 3.0 and the Axon 7 has QC 3.0.
Even if it wouldnt have QC, it will charge anyway.

[Q] Car charger output

H guys,
Im using a car charger with 2.1 AMP output - looks like its not enough while im using GPS on and the device is connected to Bluetooth and more
please suggest based on your experience what is the required output and a recommendation of such charger will be most welcome
thx
Anyone?
I think the phone won't charge above 1.8 amps. Check to. Make sure that the charger has an output of 2.1 amps when using Android devices. A lot of chargers will charge an iPhone at 2.1 amp, but only change Android somewhere between .75-1.5 amps. 2 amps should be plenty. I bet your charger isn't charging at 2 amps, or even 1.8. The only one I found that charges Android, and not just iPhone at 2 amps is the Andru charger (the Bee charger)

I have a 2.1A charger from Anker, it charges the phone fine using Google Maps navigation, streaming music over Google Play Music, and playing that over a bluetooth connection.

I bought this from Best buy, rated at 3.1 AMP output. It charges my phone from dead to full in 30-40min.

Has anyone tried the Quick Charge 2.0 supply with the Nexus 5?

As the title says anyone tried it? I know Nexus 5 doesn't have QC2.0 but still does it work?
Apparently not, while the n5 has a sd800 which supports qc2.0 it uses a ti charging chipset or something, anyhoo if you use a 2amp charger it'll charge the phone in 70 minutes anyway.
Faux kernel charging drivers allow up to 2 amp input with the kernel and the app.
Charging chip allows up to 3AMP and 9V, but probably other circriitry can't handle that
I tried it. Got it from Amazon, the Aukey (EU) charger.
So far, been using it with a new usb cable for almost(!) a month. Satisfied.

Anyone here tried QC 3.0 charger with Nubia Z11?

Hi everyone,
Anyone here tried the QC 3.0 charger with Nubia Z11?
How fast does it charge?
I have the stock charger which is 5V 2A only. So i guess QC 3.0 charger should charge faster as Z11 supports QC 3.0 fast charging.
Looking forward to know your experiences with the QC 3.0 charger.
Thanks in advance.

5V 2.1amp or QC based?

Currently looking for a car charger. Is it fine to stick with my current 5v 2.1 amp charger or buy QC 3.0 charger?

It shouldn't make a difference. A weaker charger takes longer, but I've had good luck with "non-turbo" chargers. I'm running the same charging setup for the G5+ as I had with my Nexus 5, both in my home and my vehicle.

Quick Charge certified is a must have!
I have the previous version of this one (QC 2.0 version, not QC 3.0) and I love it.
They have options with more ports, but I need a low profile charger since the power jack is in a very awkward spot.

Compatible Quick Chargers

Hello,
Id like to know which quick chargers are compatible with the V40? I know it comes with a QC 3.0 in box but will a QC 3.0 Samsung S8 charger work just as fine?
Id rather not take the chance to damage a device, or is it better to just purchase OEM LG quick chargers?
From my understanding, QC is a standard by Qualcomm, so any charger following Qualcomm QC standards (it should say if it supports up to QC 3.0 for example) will work fine. It is not OEM dependent, and a bunch of brands like Aukey make third party QC chargers. Your S8 quick charger will work fine.
