Different type of bluetooth ( not md725), differentconnections for gps, antenna, usb ecc. and even different software but android 6. I bought this instead the same unit with oreo for the root possibility.

[Q] need a little clarification

Hi guys, i am really confused. I purchased an epad off of ebay. i thought winning bid of $42 was worth it so i got it. after purchasing it i read throught the details. i liked it except for this one part where it says "TF card support 32GB extend max". It has 1 usb slot and 2 micro sd slots. Does it mean total per card it can support is up to 32 gb or 32gb all 3 combined :/ if anyone can answer this question id appreciate it. THank you.
What kind of tablet? and epad?
yes, its an epad. i havnt got it yet but i was gonna order a few cards for it too then so i needed to know
EDIT: ITS THE SAME EXACT THING AS THE LINK BELOW
http://cgi.ebay.com/TABLET-PC-10-2-...US_Tablets&hash=item3f078105c9#ht_6594wt_1139
Here is your answer
The ram is 256 mb
The sd card support is 32 gigs per slot.
If you can root the device you will make it run better but trying to put froyo with only 256mb ram might be an issue
Good luck.............. good price though
Note:
1. All Memory cards we selling are with the tablet pc and at cost price,we are sure them all be tested before shipment ,we do not accept returns, replacement or refund of the cards, thanks for your cooperation.
2. Not all games and software can be supported by G-Sensor (Depending on software compatible)
3. Device usually show storage at about 0.7-1.3GB, This is because we have pre-installed the android system and other software, this will occupy some memory.)

Head unit recommendations - 1024x600, 2gb ram, physical buttons

I want to find a good head unit with following specifications:
Resolution: 1024x600
RAM: 2GB or more,
Physical volume, next/prev buttons (as my wheel does not have media keys)
DVD
SD Card support - at least 64GB
Are there any good, tested units with these specifications?
There are plenty, the universal 2din unit at carjoying.com should work

All units I saw on carjoying are actually 1GB RAM. I've had experience with Android smartphone with 1GB RAM and don't really want to have same experience with head unit.

Whoops yeah all the MTCB style ones have 1GB ram.
The only other option would be a newsmy unit which is completely different software wise

I have 3 OTT M8 boxes scattered around the house and would love a Remix OS build on them.
I dumped the crappy kitkat builds off them after about a week of buying them and run OpenELEC on them. It's fine for just Kodi but the device is capable of so much more.
I think the wife would love it on the one in the kitchen for browsing the web for recipes and the likes, not possible with OpenElec
So there's a big fat +1 for me on this. :good:
Any updates? Would love to use Remix OS on my M8
that would be great on S802/S805/S812
Would love remix on my onda v975m its based on the m802

Wondering if MTCD/MTCE PX5 with Android 6 can be upgraded to Android 8?

I need to select a new headunit, those that fit my car are PX5/Android 6 or PX3/Android 7, however I can buy a universal 2din headunit with Android 8 and mount it with an adapter...
If there is a possibility to upgrade from 6/7 to 8 I would pick those that are made for my car and upgrade them later on.
Any recommendations?
PX5 with Android 6 can be updated to Android 8 but all Android 8 HU's have 4 gb of RAM. Most of the Android 6 units have only 2 gb of RAM. I would recommend you to buy a headunit with 4 gb RAM if you can find one that fits your car

PX5 (8.0/Octa/4GB) vs PX3 (7.1.2/Quad/2GB) Head Units - Advise needed

I am in search of replacing my current head unit (in my Mercedes w164) with an android one but I am totally confused with all those chinese makers because they don't provide the MCU version/Kernel version and Build Number therefore not easy to identify and do a proper search for problems and available ROM's
Currently i am focusing on 2 devices - specific for my vehicle - PX5 vs PX3 with the following HW specifications:
Octa Core PX5 CPU + DDR3 4GB Flash + 32GB Memory
Android version claimed by the retailer is Android 8.0
Quad Core PX3 + 2GB + 32GB Memory
Android version claimed by the retailer is ANDROID 7.1.2
My questions :
Which one is better in terms of ROM support and performance ?
Is Android 8 available for those devices ?
4GB of memory is fairly new. Is it possible and if yes is it worth it ?
Mic and Bluetooth issues mentioned in several threads have been solved ? I am interesting only on pairing my phone and make calls.
Do i need a noise filter ?
DO they work with factory fitted GPS receivers ? (The sellers say no)
The price difference is not huge and is not a factor for my choice.
Just in case here are the links for the ones i am interested for :
Dicola (probably a retailer)
Android 8.0 - Octa Core PX5 CPU + DDR3 4GB Flash + 32GB Memory + 1024*600 HD Screen
Link here
ActeryX (probably a retailer)
ANDROID 7.1.2 - Quad Core PX3 + 2GB + 32GB Memory + 1024*600 HD Screen
Link here
Thanks you for your responses and your time
Alexis
