Give more info's, please. What is AOSP-CAF/BUGS
ETC. I'm looking here for CAF ROMs, I found a lot, all over discripted in the info's that is specially for Snapdragon Phone's????

Its basically regular AOSP with some additions that suit our device. It was originally made for Snapdragon devices but works on our device too.

What about the bugs?

What about the principle of "trial and error"?? That's the base of custom roms....
If you found a bug, take a logcat and post it here.
If you're too lazy go back to Touchwiz.
Just as simple as that.

CAF is based on AOSP and barely adds any more features. Thus, making CAF practically AOSP barebones.
LOS is based on CAF and adds several features.

Los is not based on caf since 15.0

what works and what doesn't work so far? have you tested anything? i'm a little hesitant to install this on my daily driver.

What are the bugs? obviously, there would be some, but If I get a list beforehand, then it gets easy to decide

Hey, nice job, man. Finally someone had the guts to make a pure AOSP.
I will keep an eye on this for sure.

Today I have made two new ROMs, but both of them act like the first ROM I made
There are TOO MUCH differences between AOSP and CM, Omni, etc, lots of board configs need to be migrate, besides, most of the overlays in CM&Omni cannot be used in pure AOSP, so maybe I have to migrate several CM functions to make it usable.
Both of them need lots of time, so please be patient if you want this ROM recently

[ROM] Vanir + Commotio -- Angler

As most of you know, Vanir + Commotio supports about 100 devices and has been around 2012.
Since pretty much everyone on the team has an Angler, I thought why not post here.... And currently rock solid performance.
Support
Since we support around 100 devices, the only place to find official support is on our GooglePlus Community
Commotio + Vanir Features:
- We are a caf based ROM that shares many features with cyanogenmod
- However unlike cyanogenmod, we own features, optimizations, performance enchantments, scripts, and butter
- We also remove all tracking found in AOSP, google, and CM sources
Builds
We have a rolling nightly releases. There are usually 300+ nightlies a year, so you are never stuck on a stale ROM. I won't swear every nightly is perfect, so make sure you backup before flashing.
DHO's Server <-- Commotio Edition
Nuke's Server <-- Official Vanir
Gapps
- Vanir's Gapps are purpose built for Vanir and will work on any caf based ROM
- Your welcome to try others, but there will be no gapp related support.
Sources
Sources are always apt to change, for always correct info please see our manifest. We have NO closed source repos. What you see is simply what you get.

The more recent 6.0.1 nighties are stable. Only current known bug LTE is not working during phone calls, this was broken in 6.0.1 merge, but will be fixed
Now here's a name I haven't seen in a while!
Nice to see everyone on the 6p - it is a nice device.

Booted and everything ran really well.
But since it is encrypted I went back in and flashed Franco kernel r2. I couldn't get it to boot but I assume I did something wrong.
I tried both, just flashing kernel, and then tried flashing unSuperSU, flashing kernel and then SuperSU 2.61. Both ended in being stuck at commotio boot screen.
Am I flashing the wrong type of kernel?
I wrote this here hoping maybe some others could answer. But I know official support is in G+ community. Just thought this may be less commotio related and more custom kernel related as it pertains to ROM.
Thanks.
I know in the past with the Nexus 5, you couldn't flash a CAF based ROM with an AOSP kernel...does that apply here also?
I think Elemental X works on the official CM but I'm not sure.

Lineage OS or Resurrection?

I am wondering which ROM gives you the better features.
1. Which ROM updates more
2. Which ROM tends to be more stable
3. Which ROM gives better battery life
4. Less bugs
Out of those mentioned above which ROM would probably be better for the Oneplus 3T, Lineage or Resurrection ROM?
Thanks
1) Resurrection seems to update more as lineage is on a weekly basis only.
2) Resurrection is built off lineage sources, so technically lineage will always be more stable. I just personally prefer Resurrection because of the customization aspect.
3) Battery life can be better on Resurrection because of the screen off functions otherwise it's gonna be roughly the same.
4) I've got no problems bug wise with either, but with the additional features of Resurrection, there's gonna be more bugs

What kind of camera error? Are you trying to use Google camera?
Either get Sultan's LOS for stability, extra security patches and potentially better battery, or RR if you prefer customization.
Sultan usually updates at least 2-3 times a month, but only if there are major patches and fixes or security patches. But it's hella stable. Don't use any custom kernel as Sultan's kernel is amazing and is the whole point of the ROM.

[ROM] [7.1.2] jancokOS [OMS] [10/09/2017]

This is my first project in android development world, and i should say thank to OnePlus which make a very developing friendly phone that can encourage me to try developing my own ROM for my own phone. Huge thanks to LineageOS (Cyanogenmod) which is the first toward custom ROM development.
After all that background talking, now let's cut to the part of this ROM. ROM is build based on CAF and adding feature based from Paranoid Android, Dirty Unicorns, LineageOS and CypherOS.
Feature List:
1. Network speed indicator
2. Button customization
3. Battery style customization
4. Signature spoofing (microG support)
5. PA's color engine
6. PA's pocket lock and accidental touch
7. Substratum support

Great Indonesian Dev, I will try and tested,
I wish you continuesly develop your rom as CAF based rom really rare and good, as CAF primarily release for Snapdragon SOC.
Right now I'm using CypherOS 4.1.1 made by unknown Indo dev too. I hope he made his own thread too.
I found this rom about one week ago in the AFH its good rom and everything fast and smooth
