[Q] Stock Kernel for Canvas A1

Hi .
I need stock kernel for my canvas A1. Can anyone provide me this? I recently flashed ThunderZap V2.5 kernel on my phone, but I want to get back to the stock kernel.

Moreover, I have one question. Will I be able to install the OTA updates even on custom Kernel?

No need to worry about custom kernels.
You will get OTA updates with it
Moreover, Google OTA updates install the stock kernel again while upgrading.

i rooted then unrooted canvas a1 8 gb variant and now when i try to install ota update it shows 2 errors 1.footer is wrong2.signature verification failed.if i install stock kernel will it fix the problem?

how can i Back to stock ROM from CM 12 as i want a ruu file or zip file for a5 DWG or also give site for download stock ROM . i am new from India plz help me and tell full procedure also.. there are so many bugs in CM 12 so i want back to stock ROM

Need help regarding custom rom & boot loader

I'm currently on S3 Stock ROM Rooted , Latest TWRP Installed, Android 4.4.2 & I747ICUFNJ2 , I need help regarding which custom rom is best for battery & do I need to update my boot loader before installing any custom rom above Kit Kat ?

There is no requirement to update the bootloader to run a custom ROM above 4.4.2.

as far as your other question, i would try carbonrom. having a different kernel will also increase battery life but there doesnt seem to be alot of options for this variants, the i9300 has boeffla kernel.

Where to find instructions for flash custom rom?

I have indian stock rom latest. Because no more updates I want to flash something stable and safe rom. Could anyone tell me where I can find instructions of custom rom install? Thanks.
