No Reader Hub?

What's the deal with no readers hub or learning hub? All I have is the gaming hub and music hub....
It says on the website that it is available for the Note 8.0....

You sure? Had them both on mine before freezing them with Titanium Backup.
I was looking for that myself, not available on my US Note. Can it be country specific?

I think it is, Ugh! So annoyed :/
It gives you a message that it will not run if you are rooted. So I froze it. :/
I do not have it either, but instead of it I got a Wooky app preinstalled, which is meant to be a replacement. It's enough for me.

It will work when you put supersu in data and not as a system app.

I can't find it in the play store. Is this game incompatible with this nexus 7? If so that sucks

You can try and make a TiBu from another device...and restore to nexus. Should work.

Unfortunately, from other reports from users, it works but all the textures are completely blacked out, like they're missing. I made a complaint thread on Fire Monkey's website to ask them to fix it.

Because it plays on a device thats made by samsung and it doesnt on a device google is selling.
I TiBu'ed from my Evo 4g LTE which is the adreno version and it works fine on my N7. I suspect texture issues are because ppl might be pulling it from non-adreno devices and trying to use it with the N7
I pulled mine off of my Galaxy S4, which is Adreno. I get the texture issue. I tried an apk I downloaded and that worked just fine. Strange.

Words With Friends

Can someone with the LG Gpad 8.3 tell me if the Words With Friends app displays in portrait mode on the Gpad? On the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 it dispays only in Landscape and it's hard to play. Would there be a difference between the Gpad 8.3 and the Google Play Edition? Thanks.

Guess nobody plays Words.

Just installed it to test it. It only works in portrait mode.

Thanks for testing it for me. On 7 and 8 inch tablets I think it works best in portrait.

Do you have the regular Gpad or the Google Play edition? I can't decide which one to get.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
I have the regular one. It is cheaper than the GPE one and if coast is a factor in your decision that would be something to look at. It is a nice tablet and does what I expect a tablet to do.

Thanks for getting back to me. The regular LG Gpad seems to be getting all the development too. I ordered one from Best Buy today. It will be joining my two Nexus 7's and Asus TF300 tablets.

My LG Gpad 8.3 arrived this afternoon. Several hours later I had it rooted, and flashed TWRP and Slimkat. Coming from the Nexus 7 the extra screen space is much welcomed. I have noticed the screen colors are much warmer than the Nexus 7...whites are especially noticeable compared to the Nexus 7.

Video Pro Mode

Hmm, interesting when or ever even will be video pro mode for Note 10 Plus? I'm interested.

Requires root though. Samsung used to have a pro mode at one point but took it out for whatever reason. No word if they're considering bringing that here.
