I requested to make or update UMS enabler app for Redmi Note 5 pro because many users not want to use MTP mode.
Iso mounter app ( Drive Droid) works perfectly as CDROM or USB Driver but UMS enabler 1.6.2 not work because its work on old kernel FUSE DRIVER system which has been replaced by SdcardFS ..
So i requested to developer to update UMS enabler app to Latest Kernel support...
yeah mtp mode is slow . miss the old day where mass storage still accessble.

Hi,
I have a galaxy tab pro 10.1 lte flashed with old kernel and towelroot trick.
Sadly some gamepad map tools like tincore doesnt work, because there log says uinput isn't enable.
File is present @ /dev/uinput
Any tipp how to debug/fix this ?
Knox is disabled and SELinux is in permissive mode.

Make sure device is rooted.
Install adb driver included in zip.
Enable USB Debugging and authorize the computer.
Run Backup_Partitions.bat and connect device to computer
Grant SuperSU Prompt for ADB shell
Upload Cool1_partitions.zip in a safe place.

OK so I have been searching and testing unofficial custom firmwares all over the net and have found so many all with different bugs so I am only going to include in this list the 90% working ROMs and over the next weeks I am going to fine tune and add to this 2 lists:
EUI:
RR 5.7.4 ALL but LTE running a bit slow but my choice for EUI needs full wipe format before install.
Lineage 13.0 leeco le 2 port working but same slow LTE.
Both have a light issue there is a patch but then no light controls constantly running at max I just configured the light values after install and turned off about settings
Chinese AOSP 6.0 Random google framework crashing.
Flyme OS Working no bugs so far
Chinese MIUI10 Backlight dim otherwise working.
Chinese MIUI9 Backlight dim otherwise working.
Chinese MIUI8 Backlight dim otherwise working.
Chinese coolUi 6.2 working.
Chinese EUI s26 final mode working.
Cuoco92 mode s26 v2 100% working.

RedWolf 3.2 have to restart every time can't boot system.

Firstly this isnt made by myself, just found this and works on my P10 L09
MIUI
Xiaomi began to sell its first Android One phone Mi A1, it has original AOSP official ROM,but with a MIUI Camera.This means Xiaomi has ported the MIUI Cam to AOSP ROM,and this enables us to extract and port MIUI camera to any devices on any ROMs (in theory).
And it has been ported by many people to many Xiaomi devices with non-miui ROMs flashed .

Tested On Redmi Note 8 pro device With Android 9 & 10 work Perfectly . However It will Work Others Devices too.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro has an LCD type display not an OLED one, So Ambient Display will run your battery down a lot faster as your entire display will always be on, Not a select portion like with an OLED display.

I just tried to plug an external USB3 disk, exFAT formated.
To my great surprise, I discovered that the Poco F3 doesn't support the exFAT filesystem*
Coming from an OnePlus 5 (which is 4 years old) that supported it without any 3rd party tool, that's a big disappointment.
Tried and app by Paragon Software but it says my disk is not supported.
*Cx File Explorer actually tells me that. and it is the very same app I was using on my OP5
Well, it seems like Total Commander can access exFAT formatted OTG drives using a plugin from the Paragon app I mentionned earlier. Better than nothing...
