[TEST][RECOVERY][LB] TeamWin Recovery Project TWRP v2.6.3.0

Hello, just wanted to say that TWRP posted from Letamas CM10 for locked bootloader, works well
Installation:
* I wont make any installer for it since the only purpose of this is to show that is working fine on LB, and also i havent asked permission to @letama , so if he ask me to delete this post, then i'll delete it
1) Grab Doomlord CWM installer for locked bootloader --> http://d-h.st/e7l
2) Extract it
3) Download Letama's CM10 TWRP port for LB --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2498352&stc=1&d=1389023904
4) Browse through letama's ZIP and go to system\bin
5) Extract recovery.tar
6) Replace recovery.tar from Doomlord CWM installer inside "files" folder with the letama's one
7) Run cwm-install-en.bat
BUGS till now:
* USB mounting not working :S --> @Dees_Troy , this should be very easy to fix, (seems the problem is related to lun file)
* ADB Sideload --> will probably work if USB mounting is fixed

Can I use cwm recovery cray_Doze's v2.5 installer for lb ? Is possible to add file manager to recovery? Cwm cray_Doze's is stable and everything work fine but I want try twrp recovery I wait for update and try this twrp for lb now I don't must unlock boot loader to install twrp Super!

I don't find any cray_Doze v2.5 for LB anywhere, the latest is v2.2 which is linked in the OP. I think you're talking about the same installer though, Doomlord posted cray_Doze's recovery installer.
Possible to add file manager, that's what the OP says right, USB mounting is still a bug, might be added later.

I won't be able to help much, sorry... My XS is gone, I had access to it for few hours only . What does say /tmp/recovery.log after usb mount failure ? You can grab it while twrp is still running through adb.
I took last version from Dees_troy's website, it would be strange that it has invalid fstab, it must be something else.
Did anyone tried these with the cm10 build ? My scripts differs a bit from DoomLord's one that was designed for older kernel version.

the fstab is fine, i believe that its actually the mounting code that points to a wrong location of the ums lun files
This is probably the offending code pointing to another location @letama

Is possible copy only file twrp recovery.tar in my device in root explorer ? I have install cwm for locked bootloader. And can you upload only recovery.tar I can't download 177MB from your link I use chrome for Android. Sorry for my bad English.

No, I didn't. I don't have the phone anymore...
It's in TWRP source code, right ? You should suggest that to Dees_Troy maybe ? Afaik he never published the nozomi device tree he used, I just used his precompiled version.

Yes, is part of TWRP source code. I'll ask him to change it and hopefully have a fully working TWRP

Yeah ive already contacted him but it seems he is pretty busy atm, anyway ill keep trying... For now as a workaround you can use dual recovery system from crazy doe CWM v2.5 ( search the Link a few posts back. ) so you can have both recoveries

Cant seem to unmount partitions though. Got back to cwm after a non-recoverable bootloop. Got to flash stock then do all craps again lol

How to flash:
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
Requirements:
Make sure you have been on latest Sony STOCK at least once!!!
Custom recovery (TWRP)
Clean flash if coming from another ROM (no dirty flash)

Don't do it if you don't know it
Don't freak out if you have a black screen for a minute or so after Sony splash on first boot!
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows Sony AOSP source (3.10) with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
NO OTA ON UNOFFCIAL BUILDS
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

Before flashing this ROM
If you have not already:
Flash unmodified (not prerooted(!)) latest Sony-Stock 5.1.1 / 14.6.A.1.236 or tripple-check that you had it flashed at least once before.
You do not need to be / come directly from stock to use this.
If you did not, then there is no support
Still have Issues?
You could try to flash some KitKat-Stock and let it OTA all the way up to 5.1.1

Stuck at starting Apps?
Just wait! and / or use a smaller GAPPS package!
Device freezes when Idle? (Using cam doesn't count!)
Ampere can cause some issues, better not to use it's widgets!
Otherwise freezing should be fixed... If you are still getting freezes on the regular, avoid using DT2W and Anbient Display and report!

i have one annoying bug.
When im using phone, sometimes screen turns off and i must 2 times press power button.

When I install non-playstore app
The phone asked me to check unknown sources
But when open Setting force stop always
I must start Setting from app drawer and enable unknown sources
I want to mention that the camera has greatly improved
But only one bug
The screen while using turning black, I must wait it to get back or lock and unlock screen
......

I guess the app-crash is an cm error.
You're right I have the display bug too but at the moment no idea what's the reason causing it. It's only a few times after reboot am I right?

Yes that's right and happened much with me while charging
Can't enter Recovery maybe need fix
For some reasons I can't update TA

You can enter recovery if device is powered off by pressing vol down and power at the same time.
This has changed by flashing the last stock rom.

If it is the same ROM as the one you shared on telegram yesterday then there is a bug when i connect my xiaomi pistons, phone activates do not disturb. It's like if it was pressing volume down constantly but without even reducing media volume, only ringtone volume

I have tested this ROM for two days, no lags and no fc same with candy. Battery will be better here as there is no customization here

This rom have custom setting? I mean time "left, right, center" etc?

DO NOT Report bugs if you installed Xposed or weird magisk modules
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

VoLTE is known issue and already mentioned in bug list and devs are working to fix it n make ROM stable. You may try Arrow's latest update if u r in hurry.

Idk my device was bootlooping (at the G logo) after installing magisk in twrp, and that twrp was 3.2 now I have 3.3 , can it fix it?

amazing rom so far,very very smooth
bugs are non-existent,at least i didn't notice any,
VOLTE is weird,but it is in the bug list,i can receive calls and text but can't make phone calls(using volte ofcourse)
but otherwise fantastic rom, I'd say smoothest pixel experience rom ever ,

Did it wipe internal storage? or Everything was intact?

Did the usual local update, Magisk patch inactive slot, reboot. Got a bootloop on reboot. Had to wipe user data, ymmv.

regular full ota. update, install magisk to inactive slot if rooted, reboot, profit. It oats on first boot, so don't be alarmed if it takes 10+ minutes
double tapping to wake from ambient is pretty nice

Careful, I got a reboot loop which recovery tells me is related to `phone` app crashing, so probably related to some magisk module. Still trying to get out of it without wiping everything.
Disable/uninstall all Magisk modules before updating.

Hmm, I have the google dialer framework module + google phone with the stock dialer disabled. For what it's worth, you should be able to swap the active slot in fastboot and boot back to the last rom if things go sideways. Maybe..

Didn't work, changing slot after first try to boot on OB1 got me stuck on boot.
Managed to do it by flashing stock (non-root) boot.img, downloading and generating a core-only Magisk patched image of OB1 kernel, booting to it, removing all modules, regenerating non-core patched image and flashing it back on fastboot.
For anyone in need to boot with core-only Magisk (to clean offending modules), here is my images for Magisk 20.3 Beta
