Is there a build.prop hack for our phones for unlimited Verizon tether that is not throttled? I tried TTL tips online and doesn't seem to work.

so i understand that this change only applies to hotspot tethering devices and not the smartphone data usage but what if you are using hotspot hack and running sprint hotspot app to tether?

If the hotspot app works like wifi tether in which it tries to mask your tether data as coming from your phone it will seem like to me that it won't be counted against you. But if the hotspot hack just allows you to use the app without paying for it then you may have the limits.

Naw, the way the stock wifi tether works is that it disconnects and connects to a different realm whenever you turn on the hotspot (so you have two different data meters). If you don't pay for the hotspot, you can't connect to the modem realm. However, the wifi tether just stays connected to the phone realm.
That said, they can tell if you are tethering, and if you data hog and tether you'll probably getting a polite letter from them telling you to pay or get cancelled and pay ETF

Is there any way to get tethering enabled on this phone without paying AT&T for tethering plan.
if devs can make a flash-able zip to enable tether that would be great.

I guess the only way is to have a shared data plan or pay to tether the phone.
As soon as u start tethering, AT&T will know and will add the tethering package/plan to your bill.
Hey guys. Is there a way to hack your way onto unlimited HotSpot? This is for my uncle's T-Mobile's Note 3. He has unlimited everything. He asked me to root it for him just for this. I need to know if it is actually possible. The HotSpot is capped at 2.5 GB and after that it just stops. Can anyone help me out?

I have the unlimited plan but with no hotspot, but I followed somebodys post and change some access points and do wifi widget glitch and worked I had hotspot for my xbox, but it gets capped at 15gb its not really unlimited I ffound out when I used 26gb and I was laggin on COD

where is the post?
Anyone else having this issue? When I go to enable my hotspot, the phone tells me that I need to "Subscribe" to the tethering plan from Verizon, even though I have the new Unlimited Plan... Not sure what to do. FoxFi USB works but I'd prefer speeds above 20mbps, else I'd just use my USB modem instead.

So with the new VZW unlimited plan they start throttling you with tethering data after 10GB of usage. If you are rooted and bypassing the tethering using the build.prop mod (or some other method) can they detect that you're actually tethering? In other words, I'm wondering if you're rooted, can you get around the 10GB data limit?
