I'm using the stock rooted ROM, deodexed and the voice search app force closes. I've tried a factory reset and it still doesn't want to work.
Is this a known issue with the stock rooted rom? My searches on the net and on xda didn't come up with any useful info on how to fix this on the evo.
Edit: I installed the voicesearch.apk file from the Fresh ROM and that fixed it. I've attached it here.
Maybe try to reinstall the .apk for the voice search. I'm not sure where to find this, but if you know somebody with Fresh installed, it should be in their removed items folder.
I've got the same problem with the same rom, ill be interested to see how this develops.
Thanks for the tip! I found the VoiceSearch.apk from the Fresh ROM, installed it and voice search now works.

but the Setupwizard (com.android.setupwizard) crashes.
Which Apps must be deleted before cooking?
Provision.apk or SetupWizard.apk or OneTimeInitializer.apk?
i have read the CyanogenMod Wikis
OneTimeInitializer.apk = Runs on first boot. Conflicts with google app "Provision.apk".
Provision.apk = Runs on first boot. Conflicts with google app "SetupWizard.apk". Okay to delete if loading the gapps zip.
SetupWizard.apk = Setup Wizard when you first use your phone
but when i delete the Provision.apk is the same error.
