Change info on lock screen? - Google Pixel 3 XL Questions & Answers

Is there a way to change the info on the lock screen? Currently my screen shows the following
Time
Date
Weather
Next alarm time
Scrolling message, if found...
I would like to remove the next alarm time, but can't find a setting for that.
Any suggestions?

I looked at the clock app and don't see any settings for the lock screen.
Here is a screen shot of my lock screen. I would like to remove the part that shows "10:25" and the alarm icon

When you looked at the clock, did you see an alarm for 10:25?

I dont see any alarms set by the clock. The info in most likely coming from my Calendar application. I dont see a setting in the Calendar app that pertains to the lock screen.
Does your lock screen show future calendar alarms?
EDIT: I turned off the alarm handing from my 3rd party calendar app (Pimlical) and the lock screen notification went away!

Weather app and widget from Acer Liquid

This is the weather app and beautiful widget extracted from the acer liquid rom dump.
http://www.mediafire.com/?jgwmeuijnzy
thx...gonna check it out
can you post up some screenshots of these widgets.
thanks
Where do you set your location? It's nice weather in Washington, but what do I care?
Widget looks 4x1, but its really 4x4.
Unable to change from Wash, pressing menu from the settings screen only brings up 'about'
Even if I could correct the city, the 4x4 is annoying.
same here..couldnt change location

Not sure why you guys are not able to change the location. The only thing I did was remove the widget and then re add it. I then was prompted to insert my location. Still, I doubt I will use it since I lose space on my screen.
Thanks for the tip that I should have tried anyway as I was about to also post the same issue. But now I have to find out how to add my location as it is in not in the index. Anyone know how to add city to the index?
Does it not have a search box above the list of locations? That's how I had to do mine.
obviously it does but my city is not in the index
Wow, that is very odd. Where I am currently staying is pretty much the land of the forgotten (middle of the desert) and I was still able to pull up info by zip code.
To change the location, you'll have to first remove the widget from screen then re-add it. At the re-adding, it'll ask you for the location.
You might have to do this for more than once in order to activate its setup screen.
Tested, removed and added again Beautiful widget
How can I remove a weather widget from my screem??
thanks
I ran this on my Droid Incredible and it worked. I love the look of the widget but the damn thing is off by 23 degrees.

Zooper running when screen off?

hi,
As you can see in my screenshot, every time I turn on my Samsung S8+ Zooper widget take a while to update.
I like Zooper a lot, but the main reason I've to use it is I need to check hour/date asap... mainly in the middle of the night, when I'm sleeping.
I mean, I don't wanna wait nor check it against the upper right corner's clock (very, very tinny font)
Are there any way to keep Zooper updating widget while screen is off?
Or at least, any way to update Zooper as soon as screen is on?
br,
cesar.

I was under the impression that your phone definitely has a nice clock widget already (& clawks by Zooper is great. But as I was saying before I was under the impression that where you design your template under all of those Global's and weather things that you see say whether you want it to be shown Celsius or Fahrenheit it's pretty much all right there in front of you on any Zooper Widget templates where you're designing it I don't know how you missed it actually could be your phone is one I'm not familiar with but that doesn't change the Zooper U. I. You could probably Google that question and get the answer much quicker that I just tried to give you this probably half wrong

Control Your System Colors [No root][KLWP]

KLWP - Install first - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.kustom.wallpaper
AHXmin - Install next - https://www.dropbox.com/s/yh27em1auild5wf/ahxmin.apk?dl=0
Choose from blank min for wallpaper and adjustment settings only
or
Install min for 2 page with weather, news, events, and music (Must set KLWP to 2 pages and place a blank widget on page 2 to make it work)
Works for the following theme colors with a single adjust color global.
Quick settings and app drawer bg
Google now feed bg
System and lockscreen shade
At a glance and status bar font colors
Best advice I can give is that the adjust color will overload your Pixel to think that color is dominant and then all of the above adjust accordingly.

Yes the apk works. No it will not change a tint issue.
Can you post screenshots that show this off? Or is it just a slight tint to the screen?

If only it could make the nav bar transparent all the time as well.

I think so but I am unsure. I think the S10 uses the "Night Mode" setting only unless you mod the system themes to be light\white.
You can try. I have an S10e from USA (970U1) and I will try it in a bit.

General If Google Clock alarm is not waking your screen...

I figured out what the issue is,..Do Not Disturb!
Even allowing the Clock app for Do Not Disturb didn't work, so I set my Do Not Disturb to turn off before the alarm and now it wakes the screen.
It was so annoying to have to unlock the phone first to turn off the alarm.
Sorry, I don't understand, could you explain?
On my S21FE, I set the alarm every morning at 6:00. I also set the "do not disturb" in automatic, every day from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am and I don't have any problem with my wake-up alarm at 6
Edit:
Oh! I just saw that you're talking about Google clock
Why you don't use the Samsung one?

Yeah, it's an issue for Google clock. I tried the Samsung one, but the gradual volume increase is so much better in the Google clock. I set it to 60 seconds and it takes 60 seconds to get from very quiet to loud. In the Samsung one, it is loud so quickly.
I guess that you tried to add the application "Google clock" to the exception list of the "do not disturb" mode?

Yeah, I did. I found that those only affect notification, not unlocking the screen.
Strange! It seems that Samsung app don't like Google's one

Question Samsung Weather widget on A52s not auto updating after April security update.

Samsung Weather widget on A52s not auto updating after April security update. I cleared the Weather app cache, removed and then re-added the widget but to no avail. Anyone facing the same issue? It was working fine before the update. I have Location turned off so I don't know if that matters, but it was working fine before with Location turned off.
Clear system cache.
Clear app data.

Yes location does matter as how Weather widget could get reliable information close to you and not from nowhere or from your entire country when you live in a specific place ??? ^^

It just refreshes the weather forecast for the last known location (when location was turned on because you were using a navigation app, for example).
The built in Weather should be allowed to get your location to get updated w/ real time infos. Honestly, I still get ads with it, switched over to Today Weather.
