Already tried. Version 6.1 tries to replace the stock AOSP camera. I think this is the reason

I have 4 camera apps installed. Stock Cam, One Plus Cam, Gcam Pixel 2 Mod, Gcam Pixel 3 Mod all of them works fine. Try doing a clean flash and then install the app given in the link.

I think that one of the cameras that you have installed is google legacy camera installed as a part of gapps flashed while flashing the rom.
If you have root, then install the system app remover from the play store, give permissions, and uninstall it using that app, and tldelete from the recylce bin of that app and reboot. Voila, ur app will install now.
Second option is try using the system app remover available in settings/extensions/system. Try to find camera in there, i couldnt find it as i have used the first method and removed it when i flashed the rom.
You r welcome.

Says no root access. I already flash magisk

Go into the magisk, and give root access to the app installed.
As i mentioned earlier, root access is required fr both the processes.
If you still face problem, i will post screen shots of it.

[PORT] OxygenOS 2.2.2 Camera for OPX

i started with this port for oneplus 2. after some modifications and help of testers it works now for oneplus x too. most of the things work!
bugs:
- opening recorded videos with stock player inside camera let's crash gallery. go to gallery instead or use other player/gallery
- dark picture with force flash on daylight (rom issue?)
- manual exposure limited to 2sec (rom issue?)
edits:
- added first zip
- added updated port and a version for sultanxda's rom
- added new zips, better HDR performance and new gallery
- added new zip from @etoy, out of newest OOS 2.2.2
- flash in recovery and enjoy. stock or other camera apps will NOT be replaced!
- previous users of h2o cam should uninstall old version first
thx to me for deodexed oos301 rom
don't copy nor upload it somewhere else!
to be continued...

Get Google Assistant

This is a simple tweak to get google assistant working on your device.
Note: This tweak only works with devices running android 7.0 and above. So, if you flash on a lower version and screw your device, I'm not responsible. Do it at your own risk!!!
So all you have to do is add a piece of code to your build.prop
Here's the code:
Code:
ro.product.model=Pixel XL
ro.opa.eligible_device=true
Reboot your device and we're done. Google Assistant is ready to serve you.
Note:You must have google app installed on your device and move it to /system/app
Screenshots:
Nougat is in early stage so I know most of Redmi 1s users still using marshmallow, so I share to you how to get Google Assistant in Lollipop and Marshmallow.
You need Xposed Framework and Assistant Enabler module. Just enable the module and you are good to go.

What I did was :
Install Pixel Launcher, move it to system.
Install Google App, move it to system
Update Build.prop
(I used Kernel Adiutor to update it, Open KA, goto Buil prop Editor, click on that small (+) symbol, select "Add", in "Key" add the name like "ro.xxx.xxx" and in value "Enable" and enter both the attributes. Done there.)
Restart
Update Google App from play store.

You can uninstall (delete) useless system apps from /System/App and /System/Priv-App since the memory allocated to the system is really small in your case mostly, changing which is really a tedious work to do.
You can do:
Install Google Keyboard and delete default Keyboard (folder named as LatinMe)
Remove FM Radio
Remove "AntHAL" if you don't use fitness devices
Remove CM File Manager, instead you can use ES File Explorer Pro
Install Chrome and remove default Browser.

Just tried... If you simply extract the two apk from the zip you can install them with no issues at all... (I prefer it from flashing...)
The Contact apk is the same as you can find on Play Store, while the Telephone apk is a (lot) newer version than that available on Play Store... Thanx a lot! :highfive:
EDIT: wrong! No problem with contacts, it can be downloaded and installed from Play Store too... BUT Telephone refused to install on Z while installed fine on another MM I use... I'll investigate more on this issue...

Ok, it's possible to install single apks BUT it's needed to install jar & permissions file (& reboot before...) so, for newbies is probably better to simple flash the zip (that is ok, I've cheched...)
Main difference is that flashing after the apps can't simply be uninstalled but become part of the system since they are put in priv-apps... (ok, they can be freezer or removed by a root file manager anyway...)
I'm using it anyway... small differencies for contacts, a lot more (and interesting...!) for dialer...

There's a modded apk here, somewhere, but the problem becomes the caller id functions don't work as it needs to be signed by Google to use the correct APIs. So unless Google messes up like they did with 2.05_rc4 we'll never have an "simple apk" version.

Anyway, the dialer is a *major* upgrade, not only a "cosmetic" one... It is a newer version than the one released with Aosp Nougat 7.1 and beneath there are some newer versions too, it is the newer one working on MM too (the others need at least v. 7.0 to work...)

Nope, it doesn't work with stock android nougat on my moto z xt1650-03, retailmx. After the restart the phone wasn't able to open, not a single app was able to recover my phone app; so I applied my TWRP backup and tried again, same result. So I decided to make it work because I didn't want to delete everything again so, this is what I did:
Make sure to flash the zip, and if you can use your phone anymore, don't panic like me...
1. Erase the app via Titanium Backup pro
2. Restart the phone
3. Go to the file explorer, find the zip of the nougatdialer and extract the dialer apk
4. install it like a normal app and voila!
5. grant permissions if needed.
I think the normal apk should work on nougat.
If not here's the nougat zip:

Oops it was in the Dolby Atmos thread by westenbrood. My brain is derpy sometimes
HERE YA GO!
It's right there past the 6.5 download link, can't miss it. I don't know for certain if this is the magic answer for nougat, but if viper is showing all is well other than the driver status being abnormal (which was the problem with MM) then you should be good to go after flashing it. As always YMMV. Make a backup just in case.

I've tried everything to get viper to work, I don't understand - previously all I've had to do is install the apk, install drivers - reboot & jobs done!
Now it's like you need a masters degree.
I've followed so many guides, viper apk is installed, rooted, busybox & I've renamed the file in system / etc - but upon opening viper & attempting 2 install drivers, I'm told installation has failed.. something something busybox, something something check if rooted :what::banghead:
My hope now is a Dev will build a beta 9 build & incorporate viper

I must have done something wrong. I dirty flashed the ROM and installed A.R.I.S.E. again. Now everything seems to be working. I did not have to modify any files or flash any additional files

It will be better wait for flashing zip in your case.
The error is because zippyshare isn't available in every country. Is it possible to make some mirrors?

I don't know what's wrong but it still crashes after first start like all other versions.
Hope there's a fix !
thanks, works perfect after enabling camapi2 & rebooting the phone again.
im on stock rom with rooted devices but not have twrp,
so i'm just copying (manualy via root explorer) that files to /vendor and change permission to rw-r-r then rebooting device, after booting all that files has gone or back to default.
did my step is wrong?

So try another.
Does it works with stock rom with cam2api enabled? Have anyone tried?

Stock rom has native cam2api support. you only have to install magisk module.
How about the hdr on the front camera? Is it working?
Link for Gcam fully working in pie (focus) is broken......
The Gcam in the first post is this one: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/changelog466/
Is there anyway to undo these two fix?
Cause now the camera itself stopped working, I can't use any camera app
