Music app (default) on Mate 20 not opening after factory reset - Huawei Mate 20 Questions & Answers

Hey! I factory reset my phone and my music app crashes before even opening. It used to work perfectly before the factory reset.. no other apps have the same problem.
Any ideas on what's happening?

Try uninstall through ADB and again
clean install from Huawei app gallery

HTC One X Factory Reset Issue

I rest my phone back to the the factory default. Now after doing that I am unable to install several apps from the Google Play market. Any idea why? I was rooted prior to that and I had to reset the phone because it was crashing left and right.

[Q] how to restore play store?

How do I restore my play store
what I did.
rooted my phone > used app master to delete play store among other system apps (without back up). (kind of stupid I know)
Now I want it back.
tried downloadng play store (different versions). Installed it > when I try to sign in: "couldn't connect to google service, try again later" (same after factory reset)
tried factory reset. standard apps aren't back
After factory reset I tried to add my google account again for my calendar but that also isn't possible anymore (couldn't connect to google service,...). Before factory reset this definately still worked
solutions?
thx
Flash the ftf of your country with flashtool, you can remove the checkboxes in the wipe section and exclude all except system.

Did you fix your problem ?
I did the same thing and play store make me crazy now.

Stock apps keep crashing

A problem a friend of mine is having with his HTC One M8.
As of today, all his stock apps keep crashing immediately on launch. Like the Gallery, YouTube app, etc. etc.
The apps don't start, just the message 'unfortunately, YouTube has stopped.' with the option to send a report or press 'ok'.
This only happens with the stock apps. 3rd party apps like Whatsapp all work fine.
The phone is fully stock by the way, running Marshmallow.
What I've tried so far:
- Full factory reset + wipe
- Remove cache via recovery
- Uninstall Android System Webview
- Change time/date and change it back
None of this has helped so far. Has anyone got a clue what is happening here and how to solve it?

Camera App Freezing

Hi all,
My camera app freezes each time I open it, i tried safe reboot, restart, reboot and factory reset.
The only solution was after the factory reset the app worked again for 1 day.
Any ideas?
Mine has the same problem, but factory reset didn't help it. I'm on stock marshmallow
Solution to camera lag:
After multiple factory resets and reinstalls I found out the solution.
The camera lag is caused by HTC Speak app update.
I don't know what link this has with the camera but number of people have reported it
So in order to fix this perform the following steps:
1-uninstall HTC Speak Update
2-force close camera app
3-restart the device
These steps worked for me.
Camera is working fine now and maybe a even snappier.

Yep camera is working like a charm the problem is with the HTC Speak app. Thx
After many factory resets and tests, I have concluded too that the HTC Speak app is the problem. Last night I gave the phone the final reset, and set it up with my normal accounts and apps, with the goal to cancel HTC Speak at the end. The problem is that now, the camera is lagging and I cannot find the HTC Speak app to uninstall it (not even in system apps). I cannot find it even in the playstore to uninstall it. Any ideas?
Factory reset or use ESFile manager to manually remove HTC Speak
A new update was released today for HTC Speak, seems to work ok now

Rooted with magisk+installed TWRP everything fine except Camera not working. HELP

I rooted the phone succesfully with latest firmware from SamFirm Tool + magisk. And then i installed TWRP + magisk.
I started phone everything was fine. I see green tick in magisk and everything. I even restored my apps and settings and i thought it was finished because this rooting process was so stressful for me. First time i rooted android phone and i was really afraid of bricking it.
And while i was just checking and signing in to apps by chance i realised camera is not working. It only shows black screen when i start camera.
I tried with camera app, tried other apps that use camera, tried removing cache and app data of camera, tried reset general app settings, tried restarting multiple times, tried camera restarter app that works with root access, tried wipe cache in TWRP, tried TWRP factory reset, tried settings factory reset and non helped.
Can you guys help me what it can be related ?
I can try anything you guys suggest.
