After flashing the sybria 9.0 rom into my mix 2, my phone stuck in the fastboot mode. - Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Questions & Answers

After flashing the Syberia 9.0 rom into my mix 2, my phone stuck in the fastboot mode. Every time I tried to reboot my phone, my phone will go right into the fastboot mode. I could get into the TWRP, and I perform the 'wipe' serval times.
This is what happens on my phone:
wipe the system---- flash the rom ------ reboot ----- fastboot mode
I don't know what happens with my phone. Pls help me guys:crying:

Could I try to use the official miui fastboot update via the mi flash?

Try installing again with "Clean Flash". Wipe System, Cache/Dalvik and format Data (don't wipe data).
Backup your data first, because your data will destroy.

I believe you should already have the ROM, Firmware and Gapps into internal storage.
Now boot to recovery.
Wipe Data (if u are decrypted, format data)
But be aware that formatting Data means that you have to again copy everything back to internal storage using adb. So my advice is to just wipe and see if that works out.
Install Firmware, ROM and Gapps zip.
Order of installation should be same.
Reboot - 1st boot may take some time.

[Q] TripnDroid problems

Hi
I just flashed Tripndroid CM10 0.28 by
flashing boot.img through fastboot usb
going into recovery and factory resetting
then flashing the rom
and then reboot system
When it boots up it says gapps stopped and sais unfortunately setup wizard has stopped, have I done something wrong here?
How can I get it to work?
you have not wiped cache...
1. download rom and gapps, transfer them to root of SD card
2. extract boot.img(the kernel) from ROM zip and place it in fastboot folder
3. go into bootloader, FIRST flash the boot.img in fastboot(does the screen say FASTBOOT USB when u connect the phone to the PC?)
4. go into recovery, then FULL WIPE-factory reset, erase cache and dalvik cache.
5. then flash the ROM.
6. boot into the rom.then again enter into recovery and then flash gapps.
do the above steps in the same order all over again....it should work

Cannot load image fastboot

I've recently tried to update my radio and bootloader to the latest versions, i was on a custom rom (7.1.1), I've updated the bootloader and radio via fastboot and wiped the cache then rebooted then my phone was stuck in a never ending boot and all is saw was the boot animation, i decided to reboot the phone so i held the power button until it restarted and to avail, the same thing happened. I rebooted to twrp and tried to wipe the cache and dalvik/ART cache and i got an error that it cannot be mounted and the partition size was at 0mb and twrp could not repair it either, and it could not format any of my partitions, so i tried to return to stock and i tried to flash the images from the stock .zip provided by google and it said that it could not load any images. I can access download mode and twrp, any solutions? (someone said to flash the vendor image after flashing both the radio and bootloader images? could that have cause my problem because it did not flash it?
i was on the latest vendor already)
thanks.
EDIT: after continuously trying to wipe the cache & dalvik/ART cache in twrp it worked and it recognized the partitions and it wiped and my device was able to boot, i'm not sure what caused the problem but it boots properly now, although i'm not sure if i can flash in fastboot again, otherwise it works.

Flashing Treble ROM over Xiaomi.eu and bootloop to recovery

Hello, I wanted to try PixelExperience 8.1 from AndyYan and after flash, every time I tried to reboot to system, it keep booting into twrp. I am at Xiaomi.eu Miui10 8.8.16, and this is what I did step by step :
1. wipe data, cache, dalvik (factory reset)
2. flash 8.4.19 global firmware
3. flash rom
4. reboot
I tried to wipe system + factory reset, and then proceed from step 2. with same effect. my twrp: 3.2.3-0. What do I did wrong?
You need a pc for transfert your backup and after to :
- format data
- wipe all
- reboot recovery
- copy your rom and flash
- reboot
And need the right recovery

Pixel Experience 11 Bootloop

Hi,
i was using LineageOS 17.1(Android 10) on my pixel Xl (32 gb storage)
when android 11 came out, I thought I would switch to pixel experience. So I went to their official website and downloaded the android 11 version of pixel XL
There was an instruction guide provided by the developers on how to install android 11
So I followed that and even after applying update from the adb, there was no issue at all
but when I pressed "Reboot to system" Bootloop is happening
Note: I didn't noticed the official instruction first so i installed twrp to flash the rom just like I flashed LineageOS, but in the advance wipe section, there was only 4 option available
-Dalvik / ART cache
-System
-Data
-Internal Storage
there was no cache option
I formatted the data and wiped all of them and tried to both install and sideload the rom but every time during the installation, an error (code 28) occurs
Then I downloaded the rom again hoping that the previos 1 was corrupted and i saw the instruction guide this time.
So I followed the guide and installed their recovery image, flashed recovery partition and flashed the rom using sideload.
But after rebooting the system, Bootloop keeps occurring
*sorry for any misspell or grammatical mistake*
ROM and Recovery image Downloaded from - https://download.pixelexperience.org/marlin (Android 11, 2021/04/16)

I'm having the same issue. Did you flash the repartition zip?
I ended up reflashing stock rom https://developers.google.com/android/images#marlin
Try doing that and restarting the process

I actually solved the problem a few moments ago
What i did wrong was, when i sideload the rom rom file with twrp i always cleared the dalvik and cache file
let me make a little guide for you..hope that will help
1. install twrp recovery
2. go to wipe section -> advanced wipe -> wipe all 4(Dalvik/ART cache, System, Data, Internal Storage)
3. do a factory reset and format data
4. go to mount section and check all the boxes (system, data, vendor)
5. sideload the repartition zip according to your storage and device model (mine was pixel xl 32gb)
6. after sideload is done reboot the system..it will reboot into recovery again
7. then again sideload the rom file (don't check the clear cache and dalvik boxes)
8. after that is done, go back to main menu and go to reboot-> switch to slot B-> Reboot into system
Hopefully you're done
Note: don't skip any step regarding how minor it is
and if you wish you can also follow the official instruction: https://wiki.pixelexperience.org/devices/marlin/install/
Let me know if it works for you
Best of luck!

I can't flash TWRP

I want to flash twrp but after I boot twrp.img from bootloader, my phone stucks at nokia logo
I use pixel experience
I recommend you following the steps on https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/nokia-8-nb1-full-rom-installation-guide.4349525/
There's probably another way but this is the way I would do it.
Backup the data inside your phone.
Flash the T-Virus 2.0 (steps above).
After flashing, the phone will boot to the stock rom, turn it off.
Follow the steps to go to recovery: Flash the Pixel Experience first and TWRP recovery afterwards.
Format data or wipe dalvik / cache.
Reboot to ROM.
Have fun!
Do fastboot flash boot twrp.img
