Hello Folks,
I have an unlocked (SIM) Moto Z2 Force from AT&T that I am using on Freedom mobile in Canada. All the radios frequencies align between the carriers.
Data works perfectly.
Text messaging works perfectly.
BUT I cannot make or receive calls.
If I dial, I get no dialing tones outbound. (NO RINGING)
The phone will not accept *#*#4636#*#* so I cannot fiddle with any of these settings.
Thoughts or directions? Anything would help.

Can you make calls over 2G or 3G? By default VoLTE is enabled.
i found there is no voice call, when i chose LTE only in *#*#4636#*#* , unless LTE/WCDMA is selected

I've tried to access *#*#4636#*#* many many times -- it does not work.
I will try to force it to LTE/WCDMA to see if this works.

I was having a problem with making phone calls where I could only make a call with Enhanced LTE enabled. Otherwise it wouldn't dial out. I tried multiple ROMs and radio versions.
So in case anyone else was having this issue...
Eventually, I played with the settings...
*#*#4636#*#*
Clicked 3-dot menu on top-right
Select Radio Band
Select "USA Band".
I then noticed when I made calls, the LTE would switch to HSPA+ and the call would dial out.
So it seems that before, the phone was staying on the LTE band and voice data wasnt working.

I am using a HTC 10 phone au kddi Japan variant. Got success in converting the phone to international but have been rocking custom ROM for a while already now. Bootloader unlocked, S-OFF (obviously). Been running the custom ROM Viper ROM ok for a while but when I converted to the WWE this strange bug happened. I got data, LTE, good connection but no call or sms and it said No service despite the carrier showing up in the menu. Huge thanks if anyone can help me
I got this OP3 that made me change it to the HTC 10. The Problem of it may give you an explanation.
It couldnt Lock signal on LTE and was returning to Edge So you had to press *#*#4636#*#* and select the Network type to LTE only.
However although the phone locked LTE for good then it couldnt make any phone calls or txt msg.
I had to choose LTE/CDMA or LTE/GSM
In Order to change while in call to Edge or "H+" Network.
I guess by that we understand that LTE is only for DATA and not for Voice calls and txts...?

Yeah, I tried your method but it didn't work. Don't really understand why that happen tho because if I have the right radio to have LTE then why can't I do call?
Does this Pixel 2 not have Data while on voice? Seems when I get a call I drop data.
It does you have to activate it using this code *#*#4636#*#* type into phone dialer. A menu will pop up chose phone info and activate everything in the picture. You now have data on calls.

I'm looking at your picture and see EAB/Presence Provisioned with the toggle turned on. Mine is greyed out and won't toggle. What does this item do?
Mine are grayed out too on cricket. It is carrier/sim dependent.
this is a carrier issue.
no issues with me on tmobile usa
It does depend on the carrier. If you're using Sprint, it will be greyed out. You can switch to different carriers if you're using Project Fi by opening the dialler and hitting *#*#FITMO#*#* (t-mobile)
*#*#FIUSC#*#* (US Cellular) There may be others that support it, but those are the ones I know of.

I'm having issues receiving calls when my preferred network is on LTE/3G/2G but I'm able to use data and receive SMS.
steps made trying to narrow down the issue:
• switching to 2G only network type allows me to receive calls
• swtiching to LTE/3G did nothing to resolve the issue
• went to phone info using *#*#4636#*#* and changing to Global auto prl allows me to receive calls but only if the voice network type is UMTS and data network type is HSPA switches from LTE.
• had my gf call me on LTE while looking in phone info (using *#*#4636#*#*), I can see network types changing from LTE to UMTS and HSPA respectively but still unable to receive calls though on my gf's phone is ringing on her end.
hope you guys could help!

I had this exact problem, I restarted the phone and it fixed the issue. I also disabled and re-enabled WiFi calling. Let me know if it worked for you.
What network are you using?

My Italian operator enabled the VOLTE calls but my Motorola when I call, it switches from 4G to 3G. In the settings I have no entry to enable VOLTE.
So I entered into the secret menu. Here I have both the VOLTE and CALLS WITH WIFI but they are not enabled and I cannot enable them as you see in the screenshot.
How can I enable the VOLTE?

I had a similar problem. I would call your Italian operator back, and once again, ask them to enable VoLTE on your line/account/number. Then, power cycle your phone.
I had the same problem with my USA operator. I called, and got thru to their Tech Support. The Tech Support person started to give me a lecture that VoLTE has been enabled on all accounts, and he stopped his lecture when he saw it wasn't actually enabled for me. He enables it. I power cycled my phone, the Provisioning VoLTE is now shown un-gray'ed, and I flip the slide switch on.
