PhantomSkinz has tested and released their full line of products for the new Samsung Galaxy S10 and Samsung Galaxy S10+ including their popular Ultra Clear self-healing screen and full body protection film. PhantomSkinz has been making screen protectors for mobile devices since 2008 and is one of the favorites mentioned by many users across our forums. As many of you may know, the new in-display Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor used by Samsung does not work with most tempered glass screen protectors so PhantomSkinz is a great solution in general, but especially so with these new devices. We recommend PhantomSkinz for the reasons listed below:
• In-stock and shipping now
• Orders ship out same business day if placed by 2pm MST
• Designed and Made in the USA
• Backed by customer friendly Lifetime Warranty which provides replacements for as low as $5 without having to ship back the used product.
• Extremely responsive US based customer support
• 2 screen protectors for $14.95 plus free US shipping on orders $24.95+ and free worldwide shipping on orders $69.95+
• 32 options for full body coverage including wood, carbon fiber, metallic colors, and snake skin in addition to their self-healing films.
• “XDAdevelopers” discount code will get you 15% off through March 8th
S10 Test video
Benefits of PhantomSkinz over tempered glass:
• Works perfectly with the in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the S10 and S10+. See the video of the testing they performed below.
• Edge to Edge coverage with no air gap, or the option for a “case-friendly“ version
• Protector won’t crack/shatter unlike tempered glass which can be damaged from the slightest impact to the edge.
• Self-healing polymer is virtually scratchproof which means no micro-scratches.
• Very easy to clean and no oleophobic coating which are known to wear off relatively quickly with normal use.
• Adds grip when holding the phone, but is still very smooth when swiping or using gestures.
PhantomSkinz also claims that their products are superior to other film type screen protectors for a variety of reasons including:
• Proprietary topcoat offers superior resistance to scuffs, yellowing, and discoloration that many other film protectors suffer from
• Their unique topcoat also provides incredibly effective self-healing properties which virtually eliminate annoying micro-scratches
• Advanced adhesive formulation provides a strong bond to your device while resisting permanent impressions from fingernails, styluses, and everyday objects such as keys in your pocket. The products can also be removed without leaving adhesive residue behind.
• Ultimate in smoothness and clarity for this product category
• Product design is the best in the industry combining ease of installation with complete protection.
PhantomSkinz can be purchased for your Samsung Galaxy S10 or S10+ directly through their website:

Do they have for note 8

Yes we do. I would post the link, but I'm not sure links are allowed on this forum anymore. Just visit our website and search "note 8" at the top. We have screen protection and a full range of body skinz. You can message us on live chat or via email if you have any questions.

Are those "Glass" or "Plastic" screen protector?

They are made from a self-healing polymer (plastic). So not glass. But they aren't like the cheap plastic screen protector that comes on the phone either.

I just got it on my phone (S10+). It feels like glass generally. It's smooth and slick, but attracts a little more fingerprints than the bare screen. If I really try and analyze it tactically, it may be a faintly rubbery feel sometimes. Not like plastic though. I don't feel that with general use, though. It feels like a normal screen. Fingerprint scan has been on point, as well as the front facing camera. They act as though nothing is there.

Will the body cover fit inside a UAG Monarch case? I use a case when at work, but if the body cover would fit inside the case, I'd use just the body cover at home.

I'm using Gadgetshieldz screen protector on my S10+. The screen protector really good with the fingerprint scanner

Protector looks awesome, the postage to anywhere other than the USA is NOT.... quite the expensive shipping option for me in Australia

I've used PhantomSkinz on my HTC U12+ for over a year now and never had to change it. It gets better with age and never yellows. The application of the back protector is as if it's not even there. I look forward to applying these to my S10+. They are the best film protectors I've ever tried.

Wow, pricey shipping to Canada, especially if I want to purchase 2 sets of screen protectors. Lost a potential repeat customer.

Does this protector cover the front facing cameras? I'm looking for one that does.

SGP Ultra NANO clear screen protector review.

Hi guys !
I received the shipment today and did a little review for you.
I'll start with the fact that I don't like any screen protectors, and any phone cases.
But sometimes these things are necessary for us. (example: while on beach, I always scratched all my phones)
I also got very intrigued by the word "NANO"
In the package you will find:
- 3 screen protectors. (Thank you for that SGP)
- cloth (to clear the screen)
- 4 stickers, for dust removal . (by the way it helped me)
- plastic scoop (to align the surface)
- serial number (to verify the authenticity of the product)
- spam

What I liked:
-easy to install.
-almost not visible on phone. (which is true guys)
-does not interfere with the reflection (important for me)
-0% distortion of the quality of the screen
-good protection.
What don't liked
- Feeling that Protector will come off from the edges very soon.
May be due to the fact that I improperly installed in the middle of the screen (I confirm that the film was based on the screen incorrectly, I redid the work, everything is perfect now !!!!!
- easy to put fingerprints (My niece helped me to verify this)
You will tell me what about protection from scratches?
No problem let me show you something
- film is easily deforming(will be seen even a trace of nail hands)
I'm not talking about real scratches as these
honestly say I was scared that scratched own phone , But after removing the film, I realized the fact that SGP Ultra NANO clear protector not only doesn't spoil the image quality (which is completely perfect), but also provides good protection.
Best Regards.
AvetNY.
Thanks purchased this today, cant wait to get it now
As long as protection and screen image quality is solid, then I'm in

They just updated their page with a new screen protector for the Galaxy S 3 the ultra nano optics anti-fingerprint version.
Nice review! It's pretty shocking when you had a knife next to the phone.. :good::good: I was thinking getting wet screen protector or whole shield, but it looks very attractive.

I am just a little bit sceptical, they reduced the size of it to prevent having bubles on the edges due to the curved glass on the s3, I have a similar screen priotector and the smaller size does get on my nerves as it tends to get lifted up and makes you notice the uneven edge on the face of the phone.
I think ill go for the other version with the full covering
I just got the order today and I'm worried about protection. This screen protector is extremely thin... almost like cellophane you find on cigarette packs. I ran a knife against it and blade went through easily. I wish they could have kept the thickness same as ultra crystal. I kind of prefer ultra crystal film even though edges were bubbling up a little. It wasn't very noticeable to me at least. I always been a huge fan of SGP but Galaxy S3 screen protector are huge disappointment, including flex hd (rainbow effects that won't go away).
I so want glas.t for S3

No. Absolutely not
when you talk about the screen easily deforming, do you mean if i take my finger nail and rub it across that it'll make permanent marks on the protector?
thanks for the review, very nice job
anyway i got a question: just noticed that there are 2 versions of this protector, the optics and clear, so i'm wondering, what are the differences?

Ultimate Review: Spigen GLAS for Galaxy S3(Text, Video, high res. pics)

NOTICE: THE GLAS IS NOW DISCONTINUED!
Hey everyone, welcome to my very thorough and in-depth review on Spigen SGP's GLAS, tempered glass screen protector, for the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Purchase at: Cretouch.com
Installation
- Easy as hell. No air bubbles and fuss. *Just make sure to thoroughly clean the screen and read the instructions.* Tape works well for getting rid of dust.
Also go from edge towards the center not vice versa. The edges of the protector(colored bezel/frame) is thicker than the clear glass area, so going from center out can cause sensitivity issues.
Clarity
- No clarity loss at all whatsoever. Looks like the stock screen.
Fingerprints
- The oleophobic coating really does work. I have noticed less fingerprints with the GLAS.
Feel/Texture
- Honestly feels just like the original glass screen. Very smooth and glass like.
Cutouts
- Cutouts are done well. There are physical cutouts for the sensors, speakers, and home button. Sensors work just fine and the cutout for the home button is a bit recessed. Spigen includes epoxy buttons that add a slight raise for the home button. They're also great for some more personalization.
- Internal, clear cutouts for the LED light, front facing camera, and capacitive menu buttons.
Coverage
- Does not go edge to edge. Leaves a few mm of space between the GLAS and the bezel.
Sensitivity:
- So after having installed the protector and using it, I have negative things to say about the GLAS. The responsiveness of the screen is lost by quite a bit. Swipes often make accidental clicks and touch often does not register. According to Spigen, installing from edge to center should fix the problem many were having, but this was not the case.
Here's a pic with the Neo Hybrid:

Case comptability(from the cases I have):
Spigen Neo Hybrid - works, still some gap left between case and screen protector
Spigen Lumi/Color Series bumpers - same as neo hybrid
Draco S3 Bumper - works
Cruzerlite Clone Army - works
Spigen Modello - works
Acase Super Leggera Pro - works
Overall works with every case from what I can see that doesn't obtrude or come around the edge of the phone too much.
Comment if you have a case that is compatible with the GLAS.

Also a lot of people seemed to have experienced sensitivity issues. missed keystrokes when typing, missed inputs when playing games etc.
Mine only arrived after this issue was reported, and I applied it by the same way the OP did, pressure from outside towards centre, (as per statement from sgp) but I still had the issues, it was really annoying, I had to purposely slow down my typing in order to prevent having so many errors.
Does anyone know if they're going to be releasing a new version of the GLAS screen protector?
To the op, thanks for the review and very detailed.
I have a alternative to the spg, looks identical, I have no issue with it and the quality is very good, mine is using japanese material, item made in korea and package in china.
the way i install it is just put pressure along the sides a few times, not even touching the center.
I'm wait for the release of the blue version.
You shouldnt buy ANY product from Spigen. Ive bought 3 products from them and got burned all 3 times. I did get a replacement for one of them though. First was the neo hybrid. The volume rocker didn't work. After numourous emails (in which they already knew this product had this problem) I got a replacement. I was happy. Next was this glass screen protector, the sensitivity was awful and the thing collected so much dust on the sides of the screen protector it was a joke. The sides of the protector were covered in lint and were black lol. Now I order their ultra thin air case and the stupid thing doesn't even stay on the case. Even their website reviews say the same thing. So all 3 accessories I've bought from SPIGEN were terrible. Good luck if you take the chance. I'm currently using my old otter box defender, looking for a new case though.

[Test Sample Review] Mongrel Glass Tempered Screen Protector

*** Test Sample Review Added to Post #5 ***
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=44107268&postcount=5
Hi guys, just wanted to let everyone know, that Mongrel Phones (an Australian Company) who have released their tempered screen protectors for the Galaxy S4, have just announced their tempered screen protectors for the HTC One.
They are looking for testers at the moment for their test samples which have just been created. Note, this trial is only open to Australian residents, although post-trials, purchases are open to International residents. I've just managed to secure myself as a tester last week, but there should be more spots available. Link to the sign up page: http://www.mongrel-phones.com.au/in...ass-screen-protector-compatibility-trial.html
Link to their product listing for the HTC One Mongrel Glass (currently a placeholder): http://www.mongrel-phones.com.au/de...pered-glass-screen-protector-for-htc-one.html
Just something to note, this is not a giveaway (as mentioned on their sign-up page), but rather, a chance for HTC One owners to test the product for the company. So don't be expecting the item to be arriving in the retail packaging or the same level of support as you would get if you actually purchased the item. That being said, don't be afraid to sign up if you're willing to test out the product and provide feedback/reviews.
Finally, here's a link to the review by AusDroid for their offering for the GS4: http://ausdroid.net/2013/07/10/accessory-review-mongrel-glass-galaxy-s4-screen-protector/

Alright guys, so here's my somewhat in-depth and comprehensive review for Mongrel Phones for their Mongrel Glass. As mentioned, this is a test sample and is not the final product....
Package Contents:
A great amount of thought went into what inclusions came with the Mongrel Glass. The most important things were the inclusions for cleaning and preparing the screen for the installation. A wet wipe and a dry wipe and a couple of dust/lint removal sticker films to ensure the screen is completely clean before installing. The inclusion of the plastic squeegee and screen wipe will ensure that any persistent air bubbles/air pockets can be squeezed out. But be careful, it is glass so applying too much pressure could damage the screen protector and eventually crack/shatter it.
Ease of Installation:
Installation was a breeze, however, it may be a bit harder for those who have never installed a tempered glass screen protector before. Just make sure that the screen is clean, then align the screen protector and drop it onto the screen and the adhesive will do the work for you. It’s so simple! I managed to install it with no air bubbles, no air pockets, and all edges of the Mongrel Glass adhered perfectly to the screen with no lifting.
Overall Look and Feel:
The oleophobic coating on the tempered glass gives the screen protector a nice “soft touch” feel with finger/thumb swipes not “catching” onto the screen protector as you would find with most generic plastic-based screen protectors. It is even smoother than the HTC One's Gorilla Glass screen itself.
One flaw I found (given it is a test sample and would probably be fixed in the final version) is that the curved edges of the Mongrel Glass are not consistent. Some areas are much more curved than the others, and some edges are just really sharp. Luckily enough I installed the more curved edge on the top of the screen, where most of the swiping from the edge is done (i.e. pulling down the notification tray). But in regards to the feel of the curved areas, they feel a lot nicer than a lot of other tempered glass screen protectors I've used in the past (e.g. MIME Ghost Glass). However, what I would like to see in the final version of the Mongrel Glass is more consistency to the curved edges all the way around the glass.
In terms of clarity, I see no loss in clarity whatsoever. The screen is still bright and vibrant as ever! The overall thickness of the glass is also thin enough that it doesn't reduce the sensitivity of the touchscreen, and the capacitive buttons also work perfectly! This was a flaw with one of the previous tempered glass screen protectors I’ve used in the past, the Glas.T from Spigen, which was a tad too thick and caused the capacitive buttons to be a lot less sensitive and required a bit more pressure to activate.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, this is a great tempered glass screen protector. Compared to many of the other offerings available, it ticks pretty much all the boxes. The price-tag of the final product may be a little high, but if Mongrel Phones improves the minor things such as the consistency of the curved edges, I would say it is well worth it, taking into consideration the package contents, ease of installation and overall quality of the product.
Photos:
Package contents - https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ursn756t7sc2dp/IMAG0719.jpg (generic for all of their Mongrel Glass screen protectors)
Overall - https://www.dropbox.com/s/bzq3hjmbg3v02k7/IMG_1377.JPG (clean install with no bubbles/no un-adhered corners/no chipped corners)
Bottom - https://www.dropbox.com/s/ytfjyzkwl8o795m/IMG_1380.JPG (you will notice the right side of the bottom is more curved on the edge than on the left side)
Top - https://www.dropbox.com/s/31axzopeo5tdk14/IMG_1382.JPG (you will notice that the top is more consistent with the curved edge on the glass)
Great review Huey85...
I am so disappointed I missed out on this trial and can't wait to see the final product. I love my original HTC Double Dip case, and was wondering would Mongrel fit in there. Those two would be a perfect combo in my opinion.
I still hope another trial unit can be sent to Brisbane for testing

you can probably shoot them an email mate. they might still be looking for people to test. keep in mind though, that you will need to be on 4.2.2 or higher, because anything lower, the capacitive buttons will be rendered completely useless.

My review of the amFilm Moto G screen protector

Just received my amFilm screen protectors and have to say they are one of the best plastic screen guards I've used to date. Here is what the company has to say on their amazon page: (then my opinions)
Invisible, superior quality, 3-layer PET film that will not distort the High Definition screen clarity/natural color pallette
Protects screen from daily scratches, dust, scrapes, and normal signs of wear
Attaches smoothly with self-adhering surface, leaves no residue when removed
Includes: (3) Screen Protectors, Micro-Fiber Cleaning Cloth, Squeeze Card, Installation Manual
The package I received looks very professional and was undamaged during transit thanks to the bubble wrap envelope they used to send it in. :good:

Inside the packaging, I found the usual items, (squeegee card, microfiber cloth) plus a couple things usually not found with screen protectors, like detailed installation instructions (2 methods described) and dust removal/hinge stickers. Nice touch.
I prefer using the side hinge method of application, but I'm sure vertical application is just as good.
After applying the protector, I went about looking closely at it in different light sources, swiping and tapping my brains out. I have to say that after the initial "break-in" (getting skin oil worked in) I really couldn't tell the difference between the protector and real glass. It's very smooth and hard. Touch response was not affected at all by it, at least I couldn't tell any difference. There is no rainbow effect when viewed closely in the light, and as a matter of fact, it looks like clear glass.
Screen coverage is just about edge to edge, so even without a case, you really can't tell it's on there. Cutouts are perfectly aligned.
It is somewhat oleophobic, but I have yet to see one that is 100% anti skin oil. But good nonetheless. If I didn't tell you I had a screen protector on my phone, you'd be hard pressed to notice it. This is simply the best one I've used so far, and they now have a loyal customer. And, as of this writing, they are only $1.00 for 3 (includes shipping) http://www.amazon.com/amFilm-Invisi...ywords=amfilm+premium+screen+protector+moto+g
I defy you to find a better deal. Great product, awesome price. I would pay $1 per sheet for these, easily. Look no further if you need screen protectors for your G. amFilm makes screen protectors for other phones too.
I would show you how it looks on my phone, but it's invisible!

This isn't a comparison thread. If you want to talk about that particular screen protector, start a new thread.
I bought one the other day. $1 total.
How is it installed? With water or?
Dry install
Just ordered mine of Amazon. Good price and looks really good!
Got mine today!! I ordered it the 13th and Amazon said it was going to come either the 20th or 25th. Pretty damn good.
The installation is very easy, though you have to have stickers ready when doing step 1-2 because otherwise keeping the protector in "place" is sort of hard because its a little slippery. But once you put on the stickers it's very easy to just simply put it on.
The screen quality is great. I don't even notice it's on. Great protector for the price. I did the Hinge Installation by the way. It's very easy. If you don't get it, watch the video they supply in with the QR code in the instruction manual.
I just received my amFilm screen protectors today, and they're pretty good, but I don't have much to compare them to. I've only put screen protectors on two of my phones before. The only thing I'll have to get used to is the fact that swiping from the side, I catch on the edge of the screen protector. I use Sidebar Pro, with my trigger set at the middle of the right edge of the screen. Swiping to open the bar, I catch on the protector, but not badly enough to disrupt what I'm doing. Other than that, so far, so good.
Hi,
your review reads so awesome that I tried to purchase these protectors. However I live in Germany and they do not ship to countries outside the US.
I would like to ask you for a favour: would someone buy these protectors (pref. with prime for free shipping) and then forward them to be in Germany? Can someone guess how much this would be? I would really appreciate this.
Screen protectors here cost about 9-11 USD and I cannot find any reviews.

They are no longer $1.00 on amazon, and now go for $4.95. With shipping, they would be very expensive. You're better off just buying what's available in Germany.
Can the op re post the instruction sheet in better quality....

Does the screen guard cover the sensors ?
I'll have to get one of these soon. Thanks for the review!

No. Youtube has videos of how to do the hinge method of screen protector installation.

So they don't get unresponsive? I've had some on my Pico which did.
after removing the crap screen protector that came with my otterbox commuter case, which had an insane amount of glare and made the screen so unresponsive it was frustrating, this HD clear screen protector by amfilm truly delivers as op stated. there is now zero glare and the touch responsiveness is pin point accurate! I'm one very satisfied customer. thank you for the recommendation sir.

Screen protectors

Another new phone, another hunt for the perfect screen protector. The factory one isn't bad, but it isn't tempered glass. I've ordered a couple of Nillkin H+ pros off eBay as they've been ok in the past, anyone got other recommendations for me?

I think they are all pretty much the same. I'm on my second tempered glass already. Just make sure it has a camera cut out or you might get flare when taking selfies at certain conditions.

Disagree there. The first one I got was $2 and it was shocking. I was expecting a small gap at the sides because of the 2.5d screen but this one barely covered vertically as well. Annoying as I like to keep as much of the front covered as possible so that the tempered glass can protect the screen from drops.
Found the Ultimate Shield one to be excellent.
Try this one from Ultimate Shield. It covers the whole screen very close to the edge. The best one for the Huawei P10 Plus.

Thanks and appreciated. The cutouts are not the one I am after.

I already dropped my phone and cracked out right above the speaker grille. Lucky Huawei have a three month screen promise offer so it's getting fixed for free. Maybe I need to go with one of those full cover border ones
You can try nillkin tempered glass ap+ pro
BROTECT AirGlass Premium Glass Screen Protector Clear
for Huawei P10 Plus would be might highest recomendation.
I used the same one on the Mate 9 and it's just the best. ultrathin glass that doesn't clip on the edges and
I've installed a Nillkin h+ and it seems to be doing the job well. Have tried the Brotect on Mate 9 as well. Certainly a nice fit but it doesn't seem thick enough to shield the screen from impact.
Has anyone tired or have feedback on this protector from Nilliken? Please and Thank you.

I was looking at this one too. Have you found a local or Canadian online retailer?

Unfortunately I could only find them on nillkin online website and eBay. Nothing in Canada, per usual..
Nillkin tempered glass pro is very thin, cut out on sensors and speaker. (no cutout for front camera. Finger print sensor cutout is good, no bubbles and easy to install.
Good quality and instructions. Only issue I found was it covered not fully to the edge. It has about 3mm gaps (quite a big gap) from the screen edge. Will upload some pics tonight.

Got the exact same experience. Tried other ones that had a better fit but their quality was ****
Also installed the Nillikin...features I was after were minimum cutouts and .2mm thin with radiused edges for smooth navigating over home button. Fantastic smooth oleophobic touch.
Does the job on my Canadian Rogers P10+ and I use two Spigen Rugged Armour cases with good front lips. I alternate between the the slim case and the EXTRA with larger air cushion corners depending on activities.
how to put the temperred glass
Hello all,
have you put the tempered glass over the pre-installed cover that comes with the P10?
No...remove the pre-installed plastic one first.
I went for THIS ONE after having issues with other ones suposedly for the P10 Plus
Fitted great and has stayed stuck on! It's the type with sticky only on the coloured part of the protector
