If i forgot anyone else i'm sorry, PM me to add you to the list :highfive:

If anyone is having issues with new kernel (freezes, random reboots, no data/wifi)
Plz flash this kernel:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/135b3Xt9IssT83CFtEzMzkg6USperRkp9/view?usp=drivesdk
It is Orion_WIP3_2 kernel in a AK2 (Anykernel2) zip. (Thanks @JohnFawkes)
You can just flash this zip as a regular zip..
So no more ".img" files that need to be flashed in boot partition.
This also means that you don't need to reflash Magisk after flashing a kernel!
As always "Encounter bugs? = Logcat" cant fix stuff based on a description of what happened. :good:

It's smooth, you can use it daily. For me the audio is quite low, and there is a lack of customization but I hope these little problems will be solved with future update. Thanks devs

I flashed this with open gapps nano and there was no keyboard to set up the system lol. So I just restored my old rom

they keyboard will appear after an extra reboot or wait a minute.
no idea if its because the rom is CAF or not. (only seen this issue by you and 1 other person)
but this "not appearing" keyboard thing is a 1x issue only, it should work fine every time after that.
and a little info on what device/model would be nice

I'm running into a new issue, I downloaded Swiftkey apk to get around the keyboard issue.
Now my system will go blank then lock getting a message that a pin is needed after a system reboot
I've attached the log file

Can someone upload the launcher on this rom ? Native launcher ?

Temporary fix for those having random screen off/ on issue
Pls do not ask question on how to install this temporary fix at the cm-13.0 thread, this is not an official fix, if you wanna help out then install Syslog, use the ROM for at least a day then capture those logs. Now follow the below to install this temporary fix, again use it for at least a day then use Syslog to capture the fixed log & report it here so that crpalmer can have a look at it & possibly fixing it. Fyi, i don't have this random screen off/ on problem
It will be best that anyone of you with this screen off/ on problem to capture a video, upload it to youtube so that crpalmer can actually 'see' that random screen off/ on issue himself
Procedure
Refer to this post for the boot.img, extract it to the sdcard & use TWRP to install it
View attachment 3779215
Select Install Image

Scroll down to the most bottom or to wherever the boot.img is extracted to then select it

Pls someone reply quick.... Is the fingerprint sensor working???

The fingerprint sensor will not work until it is fixed in CM13, so you'll have to wait.
I really dont miss finger print when I try the CM13 rom, I'm still enjoy it. So you guys think this rom is better? Will try it soon ?

Also is it available on every version or is it only available on kiw 21 etc etc?
I don´t know why. But the ROM doesn´t work on my Honor 5X (KIW-L21). The setup crash at the start, when i must choose my Data SIM. Support this ROM dual SIM?

I see that you asked the same question in the Resurrection Remix ROM thread as well.
Are you sure you are doing a clean flash, flashing the correct GAPPS & wiping Cache/Dalvik before booting? GAPPs version being wrong is the usual suspect for set up crash.

Clean flash ROM along with gapps.
Booting the ROM first and flashing gapps before second boot will crash setup wizard as well.
So flash the ROM+gapps simultaneously and proceed to first boot .

Reporting Bugs
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Can this ROM be flashed through TWRP?
A. Yes, proceed with the latest TWRP image
Q. Sounds good. How can I contribute to project?
A. Test the build as much as you can and report bugs which can be reproduced with exact steps and are not random.
Q. How to disable "Apps running in background" dialog?
A. When you see the dialog, long press on it and select "Settings". From there, you'll have a toggle to disable it.
Q. Which Models are supported?
A. So far it works well on the H930(G), US998, VS996 and LS998. Other models may have broken RIL or bootloop. Im open for solutions regarding that.
Q. Why is my phone restarting during the Setup? Or early after it booted?
A. If you use a MicroSD in exfat, that can be the cause. The exfat drivers are for some reason really picky when it comes to that. Change to ext4 or NTFS or so.
Dis developer is crazy!!! ..... In a good way <3
Tested all Roms, running perfectly fine.

First we need more info how the single and dual SIM device differ in kernel ramdisk and built kernel itself,
I'm sure there are RIL/services <-> ramdisk (ROM) and kernel config changes necessary to make it work on the H930DS.
Anyone on H930DS tried one of the ROMs out ?
Is access to microSD working ?
According to amazon.de it's supposedly a hybrid slot so you either have microSD or SIM 2,
that needs to be taken care of in hard- and software (ROM, kernel, etc.).
There were quite a few changes necessary to get it working on e.g. Sony Xperia Z5, not sure how it's set up on the LG V30 / V30+

Sorry my bad haha bad flash I reflash again and it works
But encounter black screen when try to turn on the screen by pressing power button I need to double click to go in camera and press home button then it will bring me to home screen or else is black screen
Thanks a million.
Running on VS996 converted to US998. I factory reset and wiped all data. Boots up and somewhere in the setup (this happened twice when done setting up wifi and continuing) it just freezes, goes to a black screen (does have nav bar and status bar) but then restarts. Still trying to get it setup. I did not root, but I used BeansGappsMini-arm64-8.1-5X6P for gapps and that is all I flashed.
Edit: Seems to bug out everytime when you go passed wifi setup even if you skip the setup.

Looks great man!!
Hey.
First of all thanks for Another ROM to this devices.
One question to anyone who maybe stumped on this?
All thread refer to the Bluetooth calls distorted bug, but there is one that at least on LineageOS is present: - Magisk will not work with a encrypted LG-G4 at least in LineageOS, and AICP roms with Titan Kernel from @kessaras . I suspect that will not work with any of the roms, can anyone she'd some light on this one?
So anyone who wants to go encrypted can only stay on Laos or AICP that supports Laos SU-Addon if you need root Access.
So, if it confirms can you add Magisk when encrypted to the known bugs where it applies?
Thanks and keep then coming ?

Even if we add it to known bugs , we do not develop magisk.
Someone already tried to report it to magisk thread and he grabbed logs and we checked them , but logs don't say anything. In dmesg and logcat we can clearly see everything going fine and when magisk start suddenly everything starts to die.
The magisk developer didn't even try answer to that guy.
So without a way to find the problem , we can't fix that problem.
If the magisk developer can guide you guys on how to get a log that's showing the issue and if the issue is somewhere in device tree or blobs or kernel, I will be glad to fix it.
kessaras said:
Even if we add it to known bugs , we do not develop magisk.
Someone already tried to report it to magisk thread and he grabbed logs and we checked them , but logs don't say anything. In dmesg and logcat we can clearly see everything going fine and when magisk start suddenly everything starts to die.
The magisk developer didn't even try answer to that guy.

Thanks.
I guess the developer is doing army service.
I was not complaining, Everytime a new Magisk major version cakes out I test it. So, let's wait, and LineageOS is working fine and been updated with Android monthly updates. Thanks for that.
Now if we could only buy a 3.5" Jack to a Bluetooth phone adapter, that would do the trick
can't wait to try this one, thank you! i hope cts profile will be ok

Hi all,
I am currently on Stock MM. I just unlocked the bootloader and started looking for a good ROM to start with.
Do I read the OP correctly, that I first need Nougat before I install this ROM?
cheers,

please upload the new build as soon as you can, i don't know why i have problems with the 27/12 build
sometimes after it boot, booting animation > bip sound > text android > after the clock on unlock screen appears > screen bright at maximum, then black screen with a blu led and it freeze T_T
i re-downloaded rom and pico gapps 20/01/2019 .. i wipe everythings, i flashed in order rom, gapps and magisk and now it works, but even after some hours and reboot, it still slow to open everything, it not lag in menu etc.. wifi network is slow slow slow (i have a 200mbit) but 4g is fast, i can't understand which is the problem
I will re-try everything removing sd card and installing everything with usb-otg
I really like the rom style is very amazing, i hope with the next build, thank you again for your hard work
update:
i changed gapps pico with the 22/01/2019 release and now it seems it goes better (it's a little bit slow install apps: download and installation process)
it's not the first time it happened to me and with other rom that some gapp release broke something .. it seems strange or i'm just unlucky ^^ i really don't know and i'll not bore you about that, i'll continue to test and try about it
update 2:
it installed everything, a few reboot .. but it have micro freeze i notice because the seconds clock skip a lots of seconds and sometimes it shows the same seconds time :'(
update 3:
i don't know why, it's all very laggy and slow in every operations :'(

Sometime I have that lags when wanna flash any Oreo ROM.. So..
• Download MM bootloader with N modem file
• Clean wipe (System, Data, Dalvik, Cache)
• Flash MM bootloader with N modem file
• Flash DotOS 2.5 and Gapps (nano or pico recommended)
• Reboot (Don't flash Magisk!!)
• It should be lag-free now, setup your Google account
• Reboot into Twrp and flash Magisk
Try with this way..

2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. I recommend OpenGapps.
Flashing procedure is
Flash Carbon
Flash TWRP
Reboot to recovery (this switches slots, it's important)
Flash GApps
Done
is anyone else having trouble with Gboard themes on this ROM? If I pick a gradient theme it just hangs and crashes.
I flashed this with Mini gapps first and had a hard time getting through setup, tried again with pico with more success.

I flashed the micro package and can't even get past checking for updates. The data transfer tool keeps just keeps crashing.
Edit: Tried flashing the pico package instead and now device health services keeps crashing.
Has anyone tried razorloves' MindTheGapps package?

Leave out the "Flash TWRP" part and replace "reboot to recovery" with "reboot to bootloader and boot the twrp image"
Not judging but simply confused...
I see people not wanting to install twrp and it just makes no sense to me why I would want to limit my options and functionality.
It's been like almost a year since twrp had been totally stable for me with no decryption or touch issues.
Again, what is it folks are afraid of??
I'm digging how clean and fast this ROM is. Hopefully you get your server issues resolved soon.
Trying this out again! Carbon was the first ROM I've ever used on my Pixel 2 XL and absolutely loved the experience.

So do I... We already have a new host because we're fed up with the old one. Currently waiting for the old one to finally answer our support ticket and bring the server back on so we can move our data to the new server and can call it a day with the old host.
Has anyone tried installing NanoDroid with this?
I went from factory image -> flash rom -> flash twrp -> reboot recovery -> flash magisk -> flash full nanodroid.zip
This leads to a bootloop until it boots back into recovery
When I try to set up any password, it does not let me proceed after the second test. Confirm gets grayed out

The issue here would be magisk. You usually need to boot to the system at least once before you can sucessfully flash Magisk. Don't know the reasons but it's seems to be an ongoing theme on A/B devices. Same happens on my OP6 and 6T

So theoretically I need flash the rom in 'A,' flash magisk on 'B', boot into the system once, reboot recovery into 'B,' and then install nanodroid?
Edit: Well I ignored Magisk and rebooted to recovery to install nanodroid after rom installation and it booted back into recovery unfortunately.

Perfect thank you so much. I am glad it works. I need a screenshot of it working though to get the dev's approval. His rules not mine. So just dm me a screenshot in xda of it working please, so I can get it validated. (Screenshot of About Phone > Android Version in settings would be best)
Also a word of warning, I may be unable to create a rom for crdroid S (android 12), as I have no idea how to make rom sources. I just know how to compile roms with preexisting sources. So unless someone builds android 12 lineage os or something for the s9 and s9 plus, then the road may end here for this rom unless someone else picks it up.

@Linusrg1 I'm currently on crDroid 7.2, on the S9; can I update to 7.6 just by flashing the rom through twrp? Will that create any side effects maybe? Like losing data and such? I cba to make a backup as it's very high in size.

I mean you sure it won't mess up with magisk manager and tasker? Since I'm just flashing the rom itself and not re-rooting?
EDIT: I've lost root, and it messed up with google apps, as in they were force closing. I've patched the boot.img for magisk to work again as in to re-gain root, and flashed google apps .zip, it seems ok for now. Also it seems it takes a second for the animation to pass through and to be able to enter the pin code on the lock screen after swiping, why's that?

It's all okay now, except I found the culprit to the 1-second delay for the animation to step in to enter the pin; when you set up face unlock, that bug appears. When you don't use face unlock but just pin/fingerprint combo, it doesn't have that delay when you swipe on the lock screen to enter pin.
I have the SM-960F/DS version of starlte, which I believe has the Exynos chipset, while the American version has the SnapDragon. Does anyone know if this ROM will have any issues on the SM-960F/DS or does the chipset not matter for the ROM?

well, for starters, Snapdragon models mostly can't unlock the bootloader. But yes, the exynos models with the latest bootloader (you can install dev base first and then flash this, if you're uncertain) should run this with no problem.
