Redmi6 Pro disguised as Mi A2 Lite! Need some help. - Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite Questions & Answers

A friend of mine bought a MI A2 Lite. So far so good. Android One 8.1, but he couldn't update to Android 9. An error message says "Cannot update your device". So, after some digging on Reddit, someone mentioned that they are selling a lot of Redmi6 Pro with Android One and I should do the fastboot getvar all command. It returned Sakura, which is the Redmi6 Pro. So we tried to install the MIUI Rom but we got the Device Mismatch error. So just to be sure, I told him to do the ADB Shell command to see which directory it would return. Turns out its Daisy_Sprout. Its a Frankstein Phone. We cannot update to Mi A2 9 Fastboot rom because it returns the same error, Device Mismatch. Anyone have some idea on what to do?

I wouldn't even try to mess around with this fraud device. Tell your friend to return it to his seller.

My OnePlus 5T says that it is a OnePlus 5

Hello, forum.
I recently bricked my phone by accident of cause. I was using TWRP and I tried to install the OnePlus 5T factory image, but it didn't want to succeed. Instead, it gave me an error code saying: "This package is for oneplus 5t devices this is a oneplus 5" I didn't think much of it and downloaded and successfully installed, the factory image from the OnePlus 5. Now my phone's software is the OnePlus 5's but the hardware is OnePlus 5T.
How do i put my phone back to the OnePlus 5T software?
Here is a picture to prove my point

Are you sure you've used the TWRP for the OnePlus 5T? Its codename is "dumpling". I suspect you've used the "cheeseburger" TWRP which is the reason why you can't flash the right OS.
Interesting that this is working ?

[Help] MI6 Unlock

Hi,
I'm a totally noob at this rom, flash or reset etc. etc. Please enlighten me. Just give me simple instructions and links to download the files.
and I will try to figure it out.
I'm going to make this short. I bought this mi6 phone from a friend online.
I didn't know that this phone is stolen from someone.
It was fine for a month, but after updating OS. suddenly it says. "This device is locked"
It requires me to enter MI account which I don't have either the seller.
Image below, not mine but same lock screen.
I've read something that I should go to the official MI website and create an account associated with my mi phone. The problem is I don't have MI account and I don't know what email and phone number the previous used.
Please help. redirecting me to ther thread and few simple steps will be appriciated.
Thanks!

Locked bootloader, couldn't unlock

Hi,
I've had my MI9SE unlocked for some time, but after bad manipulations, I've reinstalled stock ROM and relocked the bootloader. I've been trying to unlock it again since to no avail.
Here is the error I get with Mi flash unlock:

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Obviously my account is added in MIUI's setting, USB debug is on. I've also tried to reset the phone twice.Tried with another computer (and other USB ports), different mi flash unlock versions. With and without Mi cloud & find my phone.
I also tried to sign out and sign in with the dev option by adding my account in the Mi unlock status option.
I tried finding a solution online and on the mi community without success. I'm out of idea.
Is there something I can do now?
Thanks in advance

My friends Note10 + soft bricked after an update and have no idea

Basically shows an error message which I looked up and the only place I've seen anything about it is on the subreddit called Intune which is a Microsoft developer tool for Android I think. Never seen this on any phone before and it's crazy I can't find anything about it.
Any help would be extremely appreciated.

The error message reads:
" Error
This phone can't be enrolled using a legacy Device Admin profile, which is supported only on devices running Android 10 or below. To continue enrollment, use an Android Enterprise profile, such as a Device Owner profile."
You can use unbrick tool on PC.
All problems with software can always be fixed.
Whats the name of the tool? You think that will fix it? Much appreciated.

weird problems

ok, I don't know what I can do now...
A friend Gave me his hold g5s because of battery damage. I should see if I can do something with it. because I have no use for it I gave it back, now I have the phone again with a new problem.
boot loop
OEM Locked
literally no OS, firmware, or something...
I tried the "rescue and smart assistant" App for windows
by rescuing: "your device version is the last version..."
still Boot loop
with RSD Lite: device Properties = n/a
tried to unlock with bootloader ID (fastboot oem unlock code)
all this with Tools mode config enabled and disabled
the issue is now 2 1/2 years the same and now I'm literally at the end of my knowledge
I hope you can help me
we don't care if it has after all stock or custom firmware. it only needs to walk again
