Google removed Miracast functionality from Pie sources and we plan not to use the backport hacks so no Miracast as of now.

Just installed the ROM and its already stable and a daily driver .... One bug I noticed is that system theme doesn't changes acc to wallpaper even when it set to auto ...plz look into it and I also want yo request that plz add rounded corners feature too otherwise this ROM is amazing ... I'm going to use it as a daily driver

Just delete all Android files , back up files, data files in internal storage and than clean flash the ROM this " bugs " will be fixed,,,

I'm not saying to wipe cache,dalvik cache, data , system, only,,,,, before you do that delete from internal storage all Android files, back up files,
Data files and than make clean flash, I have no rounded corners and there's no problem with themes and wallpapers,,,

What he meant was that he don't have this bug because he wiped internal memory before flashing then restored his files, that's all calm down.

Yes notification led working but only in notifications and Navy bar and status bar are also not visible in landscape mode

i tried to follow all the steps. everything went right. i was successfully able to flash RR zip
the only problem i faced is for booting up.

Looks like you did not flash correct slot. Try booting the other slot ?

Yeah. I did that also.
My phone was not booting in any situation. So during this time, I did flash same rom on both slots. Still no system boot.

Did you follow this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5z/how-to/guide-custom-rom-flashing-guide-t3944849/ and do all steps ?
If not do it all again, from start to finish. Make sure you also flash disable force encryption.
Also maybe you have a corrupt download? Did you try re-download or an another ROM?

1. i have tried that method
2.. Disable force encryption is not yet done manually.
3. ROM is okay. I have 3-4 GSI ROMs but no-one boots
my sys config -
stock ROM is flashed on A slot and hence twrp goes on B slot.
then from twrp i flash ROMs and doesnt work. tried writing on other slot also but no boot
i guess i am messing something here in this slot game.
can you suggest please, i never liked asus stocked roms. and boot issue has kept me away from custom roms

Join the telegram group for more details. Basically you're missing a step somewhere. If you can get to twrp then the last few steps are simple. You should also flash vbmeta and disable force encryption. Then it's all straightforward (relatively)

can you tell me how to get boot.img file for RR. i need to root it via magisk, hence requiring boot.img file to patch from magisk.

some minor bugs & my observations
1. fast charging is not working as fast as on stock (any solutions?)
2. i have got fingureprint enrollment issue. (fingureprint gestures are working) screenshot attached

I used the TWRP recovery from the Evolution X thread https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=8889791610682890288
Then I installed PBRP. I also had to download and install the Global Firmware even though I was on the most recent MIUI. https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/joyeuse/#

It can but u need to format data after install to avoid internal storage being encrypted

Does NFC, fast charging and 64mp work with this ROM? Seems to be the main caviets for ROMs on this device.

With the download link, I'm seeing 8.5.8 from 8/14. Is anyone using that version successfully? Does face unlock work with this ROM?
PBRP for Joyeuse 3.0.0 seems to be very glitchy for me. Is anyone just using the TWRP from Dungphp to use this ROM or if using PBRP, which do I need ot use 2.9.1 or 3.0.0?

If you use the flash instructions for Lineage, you will be good to go. I copy and pasted it here, hope it helps
Download the latest supported Lineage OS build, TWRP image and optionally gapps and the TWRP installer zip.
Reboot to bootloader
Wipe userdata (fastboot erase userdata)
Fastboot into TWRP recovery
Flash the latest build of Lineage OS
Reboot to bootloader and fastboot TWRP again
(Optional) Flash gapps of choice (OpenGapps are recommended)
Reboot to system and don't install the TWRP app
(Optional) Flash custom kernel / TWRP / Magisk

Your firmware is what matters, not the custom ROM coming from, as long as your firmware is the right version for the ROM with the right vendor, it doesnt matter stock or not. This is because the install process for whatever ROM is to wipe the old ROM first (in TWRP), this negates the ROM prior. If the firmware is right, you are good to go, I always check this by opening the zip file (rom.zip\META-INF\com\android\metadata) and look for this line, this is what tells you the required firmware:
post-build=google/taimen/taimen:10/QQ3A.200805.001
specifically this entry: QQ3A.200805.001
This tells me I need :10.0.0 (QQ3A.200805.001, Aug 2020):
https://dl.google.com/dl/android/aosp/taimen-qq3a.200805.001-factory-305df20c.zip
I then grab the required firmware from Google and prep the device (assuming its not already done), in my case it was so I didnt need to change anything firmware-wise or go back to stock firmware.
I will add in that if/when I flash to many variants of ROMs with multiple levels (9/10/ETC), I like to flash the Google firmware with the -W intact (after backing everything up prior) so the firmware to reset all partitions, formats /data, and prepares the device for custom ROMs, but I dont so this with the same OS level (scorpion to Bliss to RR to ETC all on 10 using the same required firmware level). This is why I didnt reset it coming from Bliss to RR and back, they both required the same firmware/vendor so I was already set, however if I went from 9 to 10, I would reset it.

Not sure how to get logs for either of these two things , but 2 bugs I've come across so far are:
- Smart charging doesn't work. Fully charges regardless of setting.
- Double tapping screen to view ambient display or to wake phone doesn't work, even though that option is toggled on.

i worked around that for now by keeping AOD - 'Always On'. Then D2W works.
Needs a little more refinement of these minor issues and i think it would be the ROM to stay in for the long term, considering A11 is heavy for my pixel on anything apart from chatting and calls.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.​

EvoX is a custom vendor based rom, so you have to wipe system, cache, dalvik, vendor and data.
After that follow the flashing instructions from the above ^

It works but I expected to work on the newer version of Magisk I think they will fix it soon,
although the other roms work but have some bugs that bothered me

Download the Gcam and a profile because the stock camera of this rom is not good
and lacks functions

Yes I formatted everything and even formatted vendor and tried everything there is to it. But right now I'm replying from RROS 8.6.3 for rmx1992. I had to--
1. Erase everything as per instructions provided. (Caused bootloop)
2. Then I had to download realme official (.ozip) from realme website and flash through recovery. (Still couldn't flash on latest TWRP)
3. (PANICCCCCCCCCCCC).
4. CAREFULLY read the error and noticed some "treble" thing. (Did a lot of searching on Google)
5. Flashed ORANGE FOX RECOVERY THROUGH TWRP.
6. Then flashed .ozip through Orange fox and *voila* my phone was resurrected to stock rom.
7. Then flashed rros *official 8.6.3*. ( Must say coming from Whyred RROS, it's disappointing**).
** Disappointments-
1. No FLING navigation.
2. Bluetooth range sucks.
3. Proximity sensor doesn't work and my phone heats up so much within 2 minutes it's unbearable.
4. Google Pay doesn't work.
5. EdXposed doesn't work.
But thanks to Devs for this nice rom, BATTERY BACKUP IS AWESOME.... And CUSTOMISATION is top notch....

Any updates on android 11 based Resurrection Remix for Realme X2 ?
