7. Extract Nethunter_Binaries.7z and binaries to folders:
Firmwares: system/etc/firmware and give permissions to every file rw-r--r--

8. Reboot
Loadable modules:
Modules_Nethunter_WirusMOD_vX.X.7z extract only modules for your version of kernel.
In every kernel folder are modules and firmware. You need only modules which you want to use.
For example if you don't want use tuners and dvb-frontends. Don't load modules from /modules/drivers/media tuners and dvb-frontends
In firmware are compiled firmwares for some of modules to use they you need to copy they to system/etc/firmware.
basic commands:
insmod 88XXau.ko - load module
rmmod 88XXau.ko - unload module
lsmod - list loaded modules
Some modules depend on another modules. If you want load rt2800usb.ko, you need first load rt2800lib.ko.
Another way to load modules is Module Loader
Copy modules to storage and choose modules which you want to load (load they more than 1 times, this apk load modules from up to down it don't look at dependence from modules)
Extra:
In Utilities.7z are wifi testing tools binaries like aircrack-ng(Not needed for Nethunter only for test tools direct from android without Nethunter)
DriveDroid without bugs made by disabling HID Patch:
To disable HID Patch: use this command in terminal: "echo Y > /sys/module/g_android/parameters/hid_disable"
Changing mode isn't instant after changing module status. Use DriveDroid (mount iso -> dismount) to active hid_disable.
To enable HID Patch: "echo N > /sys/module/g_android/parameters/hid_disable" and use DriveDroid like with disabling HID Patch.
HIDPatchSwitch this is simple script which can switch between HID enabled and disabled and show changed status.
If HID attacks / USB keyboard(.apk) don't work at Linux. After plugin, change USB mode to MIDI or USB-tethering.
Old Installation:
1. TWRP Backup your ROM
2. Flash Nethunter Kernel
3. Flash latest Magisk
4. Install busybox can be one from Magisk repository
5. Install Magisk Nethunter module from repository it have all apps which are needed to get fully working Nethunter (Another version of Nethunter apk link)
7. Extract Nethunter_Binaries.7z to folders:
Firmwares: system/etc/firmware and give permissions to every file rw-r--r--
hid-keyboard binary: system/xbin/ and give permissions to it rwxr-xr-x
8. Reboot

This is only kernel. Normally you can flash it on your Note port ROM without data wipe but backup is alltime recommended.
NFE V4
Thank you Bro, I was waiting for it.
My question is : Is it working with NFE BD V4 ? and with an External adapter, I have a TP-Link WN722N

This kernel is based on MoRoKernel. If MoRoKernel is compatible with NFE BD V4 than it too must work.
Compatibility depends at version of TP-Link WN722N do you have. You need test it.
Backup before flash is recommended.
Hey I'm having problems with usb HCI it does not work for me. Any solutions ?
Thanks for this!
Just wondering whether its possible to include kvm support for this kernel.
@Svirusx Wait what toolchain did you use to compile this? Whenever i try to compile it goes for about 20mins and then gets up to compiling net/built-in.o and then just stops. No errors or anything. All i changed was i enabled kvm support in the morokernel defconfig.

Hey, i use normal google android toolchains.
Are there any benefits to have kernel virtual machine support in this phone?
I have compiled kernel with kvm support for test, based on last lines of this source. Not tested only compiled, i don't know if all those modules are needed to run kvm.
@Svirusx Hey, thx so much! KVM can be used with limbo (https://github.com/limboemu/limbo/wiki/KVM), which could possibly allow for virtualization of windows 10 arm, linux, etc, and possibly other upcoming emulators that use virtualization, from within a vm on android.
---------- Post added at 04:12 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:03 AM ----------
The way you can tell if it worked is by seeing if the directory /dev/kvm exists.

Will there be a new version based on Morokernel 7.0.1 ?
Thank you in advance !
What's the comparison betqeen he s7 exynos8890 and the a8 exynos7885 kernels ?
Is it possible to compile a kernel on my phone
Just a week ago I flashed everything for installing the fully updated to 9.0pie samsung galaxy s7 sm-G930w exynos8890.
Finally a working nethunter phone smoother than my worn out nexus 6p. which I could not get to update nethunter past android 7.1.
But I lost my phones and my s7 yesterday and now I am stuck with an exynos7885 samsung a8(2018) .
which is a ok phone considering it has an unlockable boot loader here in Canada where the s9s and s10s all switched to Qualcomm.
Anyway.
I am not much of a coder or an app developer but I am very good at finding exploits.
I want to try and take the kernel of my sm-a530w a8 and possibly patch the nethunter from another samsung exynos kernel perhaps the s7.
Is it possible or does anyone know of a solution for me. I don't have a computer anymore either.
I just want to build my own kernel but I have no clue how especially with no laptop at hand. Thanks
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) using XDA Labs

I present to you: Kali NetHunter for the Galaxy Tab S4 (gts4llte & gts4wifi)
Kali NetHunter is an Android ROM overlay that turns an ordinary phone into the ultimate Mobile Penetration Testing Platform.
The overlay includes a custom kernel, a Kali Linux chroot, an accompanying Android application, which allows for easier interaction with various security tools and attacks, as well as a client to the Kali NetHunter App Store.
Beyond the penetration testing tools arsenal within Kali Linux and the Kali NetHunter App Store, NetHunter also supports several additional classes, such as HID Keyboard Attacks, BadUSB attacks, Evil AP MANA attacks, and much more. For more information about the moving parts that make up NetHunter, check out our NetHunter Components page.

KN a set of gnu/linux tools for the following users: pentesters (network penetration testers), security professionals, network administrators, ethical hackers. KN is a package which integrates with the os (in this case android 8 oreo) to provide interfaces with the surrounding networks that are not otherwise available to ordinary users. basically, if you have to ask "is this rom for me?" its not for you.
Well I just gave it a try, nothing broken after install I tried to monitor with wlan0 but I guess monitor mode is not supported on our device?

I have had nethunter 2019.2 release on my tab s4 for a while now and monitor mode is buggy. iwconfig does not show the card in monitor mode but it appears that it is infact in monitor mode after all with limited functionality (i.e. can't change wireless channels). For instance a certain tool i use only runs if i add -i wlan1mon after it, if i run it without that it can't find the card in monitor mode.
Don't know if this is a known issue on the tab s4?
(EDIT - If you are talking about the internal wireless card wlan0 then yes it does not support monitor mode but i have issues even with external ones )

Is Pie support coming?
What's the status with this? I'm interested in buying this tablet to try out kali nethunter but it will be hard finding a tablet with the shipped android 8 since it has 10 now and there hasn't been an update in over a year.

Very interesting but what to do with a Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 android 10 what is very hard to downgrade to Oreo?
I bought a Samsung Tab S4 tablet specifically to try Kali Nethunter on a tablet. After much frustration, cannot downgrade to android 8, and cannot get Nethunter to work with Android 10. I hope Nethunter development is not dead for Samsung Tab S4 or android 10- anyway to donate to encourage development?

I have galaxy tab s4 sm-t835n android 8.1 so how can i root it and install twrp to flash nethunter rom ?
Please help
++Note++
I was tooted the device and installed TWRP and flashed NetHunter Kernel
Everything undercontrol.
Hi all,
I’m having Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 which is running Oreo (8.1.0) and Successfully installed Nethunter referring to this post, had to update apt and install relink firmware to get work external Wi-Fi adapter (panda PAU09). Injection with aireplay-ng works fine. Airodump-ng works partially and cannot show which clients connected to which bssid, cannot detect 5GHz networks.
Reason most likely SELinux as I see many denied logs in case of airodump-ng.
05-31 17:48:36.315 622 622 E audit : type=1400

I added custom rules for this so it is permissive=1 but still denied.
/sbin/supolicy --live "allow * * unix_dgram_socket { ioctl read write create getattr setattr lock append map bind connect getopt setopt shutdown sendto }"
'/sbin/supolicy --live "allow * * udp_socket { ioctl read write create getattr setattr lock relabelfrom relabelto append map bind connect listen accept getopt setopt shutdown recvfrom sendto name_bind node_bind }"
However, according to audit2allow and audit2why they are in place but ineffective due to some permanent rules.
Can anyone give me a solution either disable SELinux or add a rule for the “unix_dgram_socket” please?
Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab S4
Android : Oreo (8.1.0)
Kernel version: 4.4.177-re4son-lte-0.99.24-1
Hello geeks...is this thread stalled? I wonder if there is something (not too complicated) to make it work on android 10...as you know, reverting is not possible, and it would nonetheless be useful to stay on 10, with a working NH.
Is there any magic we can do on the kernel to work with Nethunter?
Any tip is much welcome!
Hey HangDro, did you ever figure it out?
I have a S4 on order and I wanna give all this a try.

/sbin/supolicy --live "allow * * unix_dgram_socket { ioctl read write create getattr setattr lock append map bind connect getopt setopt shutdown sendto }"
'/sbin/supolicy --live "allow * * udp_socket { ioctl read write create getattr setattr lock relabelfrom relabelto append map bind connect listen accept getopt setopt shutdown recvfrom sendto name_bind node_bind }"
However, according to audit2allow and audit2why they are in place but ineffective due to some permanent rules.
Can anyone give me a solution either disable SELinux or add a rule for the “unix_dgram_socket” please?

Hi, just wondering whether you have a custom ROM installed on your Tab S4? I am trying to install a GSI, but it always bootloops....
Hey How do you install Re4son's Kernel for nethunter on this? or is the new 2023 kernel that comes with the nethunter install sufficient?

[CLOSED]CRUEL KERNEL S10 V2.3

CRUEL KERNEL S10 V2.3
The development moved to this thread. From V3 kernel supports multiple devices.
Introduction
This kernel is based on BTA8 samsung sources. Only G973F device for now. It is possible to use it on BSKO, BSL4, BTA8 firmware. All sources are open on GitHub.
Continuous integration with GitHub Actions is set up. This means you can customize the kernel from browser and build the version suitable for you without leaving the browser (see сustomization section).
Features
Customizable build with config presets
Only part of samsung security features disabled (DEFEX, Process Authentification, root restrictions)
Switchable SELinux (by default it's locked in "always enforcing" mode in samsung sources)
Built-in in Magisk
Wireguard for VPN
CIFS for SMB
Iptables TTL and HL editing modules for bypassing tethering restrictions
Build commands (configuration presets) used for V2.3 kernel:
Code:
$ ./build mkimg name=CRUEL-V2.3-BTA8 +magisk +nohardening +wireguard +ttl +cifs
$ ./build mkimg name=CRUEL-V2.3-BTA8-CANARY +magisk+canary +nohardening +wireguard +ttl +cifs
Installation Instructions
First of all, TWRP Recovery + multidisabler should be installed in all cases. This is a preliminary step. Backup your existing kernel. You will be able to restore it in TWRP Recovery in case of any problems.
Dowload an *.img file and
With TWRP: Reboot to recovery. Install > Install Image > CruelKernel.img > BOOT.
With Heimdall: Reboot to Dowload mode.
Code:
sudo heimdall flash --BOOT CruelKernel.img
With FK Kernel Manager: Flasher > Manual Flasher.
ChangeLog
V1 is based on BSKO sources and was privately used. You can find V1 by the link.
V2 is based on BTA8 sources. nohardening, nohardening2, cifs configuration presets added.
V2.1 is for internal use only (testing release) +nohardening preset activated by default
V2.2
Canary Magisk updated to 20305 version
MALI_KUTF kernel driver removed (it's required only for kernel developers)
Pin code problem fix (thanks geiti94)
+nohardening (disable samsung protections)
V2.3
Canary Magisk updated to 20306 version
Small fixes for image format

How to customize the kernel build
It's possible to customize the kernel and build it from the browser. First of all, create and account on GitHub. Next, fork this repository. Switch to the "Actions" tab and activate GitHub Actions. At this step you've got your own copy of the sources and you can build it with GitHub Actions. You need to open github actions configuration file (.github/workflows/main.yml) and edit it from the browser. For example, to alter the kernel configuration you need to edit lines:
Code:
- name: Kernel Configure
run: |
./build config name=CRUEL-V2-BTA8
+magisk
+ttl
+wireguard
+cifs
You can change the name of the kernel by replacing name=CRUEL-V2-BTA8 with, for example, name=my_own_kernel. You can remove wireguard from the kernel if you don't need it by changing "+" to "-" or by removing the "+wireguard" line and "" on the previous line.
Available configuration presets can be found at kernel/configs folder. Only the *.conf files prefixed with "cruel" are meaningful. For example:
magisk - integrates magisk into the kernel. This allows to have root without booting from recovery. Enabled by default.
magisk+canary - integrates canary magisk into the kernel.
ttl - adds iptables filters for altering ttl values of network packets. This helps to bypass tethering blocking in mobile networks.
wireguard - adds wireguard VPN module to the kernel.
cifs - adds CIFS (SMB) support.
nohardening - removes Samsung kernel self-protection mechanisms. Potentially can increase the kernel performance. You can enable this config if you face rooting or some other kind of restrictions. Other kernels usually use settings from this config by default. It's safe to enable this config, it just makes your system less secure.
nohardening2 - removes Android kernel self-protection mechanisms. Potentially can increase the kernel performance. Don't use it if you don't know what you are doing. Almost completely disables kernel self-protection. Very insecure.
nodebug - remove debugging information from the kernel.
300hz - increases kernel clock rate from 250hz to 300hz. Potentially can decrease response time. Disabled by default, untested.
1000hz - increases kernel clock rate from 250hz to 1000hz. Potentially can decrease response time. Disabled by default, untested.
For example, you can alter default configuration to something like:
Code:
- name: Kernel Configure
run: |
./build config name=CruelCanary
+magisk+canary
+wireguard
+nohardening
After editing the configuration in the browser, save it and commit. Next, you need to switch to the "Actions" tab. At this step you will find that GitHub starts to build the kernel. You need to wait about 25-30 mins while github builds the kernel. If the build is successfully finished, you will find your boot.img in the Artifacts section. Download it, unzip and flash.
To keep your version of the sources in sync with main tree (following updates), please look at this tutorial.

If your phone was able to boot to pin screen, then I doubt the problem is in bootloader. Could you try V1 kernel https://github.com/CruelKernel/exynos9820-beyond1lte/releases/tag/v1.0
If it will work, then probably V2 will also work with +nohardening option. V1 compiled with this option, V2 without it. I will rebuild V2 then.

No, it's definitely not related to twrp. Well, I don't know what is an exact problem here, but some guys told me they were able to flash the kernel on ambassadi with data wipe or immediately after flashing the rom itself.
It would be very nice if people will just write if the kernel works or not on their roms. This will be a huge help for me.

LOSQ - A LineageOS 17.1 Modify with Phhusson's Patch
About LineageOS
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Installed vendor - spaget x - modified lineageos - FlameGapps basic - chronos and magisk.
Lineage 17.1 normally worked. This version stays in bootanimation with the moving bal. After An hour IT stil didn't complete.
When i Read your flash instruction i didn't read chronos to be installed. Can that be the problem. That i had to leave Chronos out of the installation. Now back to Pixel Experience til the next try.
It's getting an addiction al the flashable systems.
Thanx all

But does it work without the chronos kernel. With other builds my sim doesnt work when i dont flash it.
But when i use the chronos kernel in this build. It gets in an never ending bootanimation for hours. And i have to revert to other build.

Is your device already rooted and you can use twrp recovery? Or is your device stock stock. Is it FRP unlocked? Witch device do u have? Samsung J7 2017 sm-j730f or other? Is tricky if i dont now where u are in the installation proces. Greetz
Had tot try it again and again. Chronos wasn't the problem. Remembered of another ROM that flamegapps could be the problem. And indeed.
With installing no gapps the system was installed in about 5 tot 10 minuten to complete. And then i was missing the play store. So back to recovery and installed bitgapps. And the problem was solved.
Lightning quick and nice ROM this version.
Happy with it.

This is my daily driver that I have decided to share. With the increase of big tech and government overreach in our lives, I felt more of a desire to move away from Google and the like. OnePlus 5 & 5T was built with microG and LineageOS source and is fully functional.
What is this?
This is LineageOS with all closed-source binary Google blobs removed and replaced with microG. I.E no Play services or GAPPS. UnifiedNLP is used as networking location provider vice Google's NLP. F-Droid is installed by default providing alternative app store. However, with Aurora store you can still install Google Play store apps with ease (requires additional installations).
It is strongly recommended not to install GApps as this ROM contains a replacement for them.

Once opened select the appropriate option, generally option #1 will be the most common used with this ROM as long as it has not been modified by the user. Once setup you will have access to all applications as normal. Some apps require Play Services and cannot be used, This requires Magisk, which is not provided in our base rom. Once you have reached Magisk, you need to read and install NanoDroid, which can be found here XDA | Download website .

thx for the update..working like a charm
@tokariew
Command back I built a 17.1 microG build with lineageos4microg/docker-lineage-cicd on 04/22/2021 and there were no issues.
What kind of error message do you get in the log?
@Exodusnick my issue seems to be with using podman instead of docker for running container image. Not so sure why I have problem with dumpling on podman with 17.1 and later

Thanks for the great work, no major problem to report after about 2 weeks!
Although that's my first time with microG thus I did struggle a bit to configure location services properly for example, but now everything works like a charm! (I also added a magisk module to control custom battery charging, I was hoping it was included in LineageOS)
Any update planned soon? It's been almost a month since last one, I hope development is still active
EDIT : Except microG services & signing, are there major differences with https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/11-0-official-lineageos-18-1-for-oneplus-5-5t.4173997/ ? Wouldn't it be possible to adapt builds from one to another?
No there is not much difference as I am using the same sources as the standard lineageos rom. New update is already running will be released later today.
I'm just waiting for Cheeseburger to finish with the building.

Is it normal it says "No new updates found" in the system updater? Should I update flashing the zip manually?
something is wrong with the lineage updater
then you have to install it manually

I have found the error and that is by type microG (G) is large that must be small
