XDA exec dead

Hi all
Recently I bought a XDA exec from eBay (used) It was working fine but I found light button was not working. (Very imp)
By mistake I cleared the memory of the device and same time did a soft reset
Then the device was got stopped at O2 screen at the start it self and not going further.
Then I removed the battery and also did a hard reset it dint helped after similar tries my XDA exec was dead with no screen at all now (just blank)
The only thing I could notice is when ever I plug the charger or USB cable from PC a red light blinks for few sec
I want through this site and got to know the issue is with the boot loader
Know the major problem to me is, to get into the boot loader (i.e. Light + power + reset) but as I said my light button is not working from the beginning is there any other way to get into the boot loader
Can any one help me in fixing this problem would be great help
Thanks and Regards
syed ([email protected])
no one knows wt do with this
Same thing happening to me!!
It was stuck on Boot Loader, then i cleared out the rom with "task 28 55aa"
at first i can see some words ("serials"), but now completely BLANK!!
The only thing i can do is go to "Clear storage" mode, either i typed 0 or x, both goes BLANK!
What im afraid is if the battery got empty because of re-trying..
Anyone please help us!....
did you reflash a ROM after task 28 55aa?
Im afraid so, yes.
I did "task 28 55aa" twice..
Any chance to make it right?
Ok, i just did (reset+power+light) and now i can see "Serial" and "v1.00" at the bottom.
I can see USB connection when i connect through "mtty"
Now what should i do?
Everything OK now.
If anyone have the same problem, PM me.
Ill be glad to help.
Now reflash the rom (upgrade) with the rom upgrade utility

[Q] Huawei Ascend P1 stuck on boot screen?

Hey there,
today my Huawei Ascend P1 got stuck on boot screen by itself, left it on the table and when I picked it up there was only a black screen with Huawei logo, and nothing else. I tried to turn it off - didn't work, tried pressing down button and power button, tried connecting it to the computer, but nothing seems to work, it's just stuck there and I didn't even do anything. Anyone knows what the problem could be and how could I fix it please?
Thank you very much!

Hi! Just spent hours searching the Internet for that answer, too. Stumbled upon it in some obscure thread somewhere, but it works! Well, for me it works... Here's what you do: press and hol all buttons (volume up, down and power) at the same time. At some point the phone will go turn itself off and you can then restart it. Hopefully it will start in a normal and unwacky way. Mine did!

Hi!.. ive done that but still nothing on my [phone..stil get stuck on the logo
Hi there,
i have the same problem. My phone is "trying" to boot but restarts until it gets to the Huawei-Logo. To make it worse the battery semes to be so low that it can't even start without a power supply.
The thing with my phone is, I have rooted my phone and put on a recovery (TWRP) + a custom firmware (Unofficial Lollipop). With that comes the problem i can't charge while my phone is off but i can't even get in recovery.
I tried to get it in fastboot and it worked. Then i tried to boot via fastboot (only to get it somehow to charge) in a live recovery with
Code:
fastboot boot recovery.img
The output on the terminal was this:
Code:
downloading 'boot.img' . . .
OKAY [ 0.233s]
booting. . .
OKAY [ 0.003s]
finished. total time: 0.238s
After that the logo was still there for a little bit until it continued to get stuck again in this "boot-loop" .
So i don't now how do bypass this problem to charge my phone again.
I would really appreciate a quick response on how to fix this problem or would it possible that i unplug the battery of the phone to charge it manual .
(I am aware that I have to disassemble my phone to get to the battery)
If there is any open question feel free to ask, I hope i can answer it.
you have not accomplished anything?

So i found the fix that worked for myself. To add something that i forgot to say in my answer above, i had to disassemble my phone because the screen had a big crack, so i ordered a replacement screen and replaced it. The thing is you have to disconnect the battery from the mainboard to replace the screen. After replacing the screen i assembled my phone back together. After that the "bug" above appeared so it took a while to find whats wrong. And for me the problem was that the battery cable that connected my battery with the mainboard was not correctly attached. So it took me a few tries to get it to work, but then it finally booted. Well the OS was broken but that's a other story. Try it, check your connection between the mainboard and the battery (I also had tried to charge the battery manual).
Hope that works for you too.

[q] htc one m8: Very very urgent assistance needed please!!!

Hi there
I've been writing about my problem for days now and I still haven't sorted it out. I'm just making the problem worse everytime I read all these forums. I messed up. I rooted when I shouldn't have. I get that. Please, I beg one of you to help me.
I tried to load software this morning and it just died. Screen went back. It seeemed to have been hard bricked. But then on the XDA forum I read how to keep playing with the up down volume buttons and the power buttons and it sometimes goes on.
Mine came on and it seems to have gone to recovery / install / etc screen (big buttons). Whatever I select, it always shows restarting and then the screen dies again and I have to play with it again. Obviously the software is messed up.
What software do I load here at this screen? What do I select? Recover or install or what? Please guys, the phone is on sufficiently enough that HTC will be able to see the phone was rooted. So I won't be able to get them to help. I need your help. Please???

Can't you go to bootloader > fastboot and use RUU?
i had almost same problem and managed to do this .
connect phone to charger or to pc via usb , keep pressing power and volume up bottons , unless phone starts charging (with charging battery logo),it will take 1 minute or so , after that remove cable and push Volume down and Power button together, keep pressing for a few second and phone should boot in bootloader , then you can choose fastboot mode and do RUU method , or if you have custom recovery , you can install some rom with it or restore backup (if you have one)
1. Put your device in bootloader/fastboot mode and run command fastboot getvar all and post result here (minus serial no. & imei no.)
2. Which recovery is that (you mentioned big button), TWRP ?
Hey guys
Thanks for the responses. It was just too daunting for me, so I took it to a repair centre. They will load the stock htc software on it.
Thanks anyway
OK ... no problem ...that's what we're going to suggest to you too. We have almost all the files needed on XDA

Tighten the two volume buttons and the power button when a black screen appears to hold the volume- button and power, smart mustget into in the loader in the boot loader to choose reboot (assuming that the system is not removed)

The phone is still restarting after selecting reboot also.
Can you boot into recovery?
Most likely you have a corrupted boot or system partition.

I know this is an old thread and was left unsolved quite some time ago. But you must have found a way out yourself after not getting a solution in this forum. Could you share that with me please? I am having the exact same problem!
i have this problem too . please help me
i'm reflash stock frimware but phone boot loop .help plz
I'm having the same problem. any solution guys?
To all who has this problem, please do try to boot into custom recovery (if installed any) and wipe cache and davik-cache. If it still fails, please replug the battery, it should reset the boolean, and if it still fails, an RUU flash is the last resort before hardware issue.
Dear Friends,
if you have same problem with your HTC 820G Duel SIM ( after OTA Update of 6.0.x OS ) please call HTC toll free No. 1800 266 3566 ( Only for India )
even your Hand set is out of warranty,
send Email to them Because when i call to them they say you are only one who is facing this issue ( when i ask then to downgrade my OS to 5.x.x )
service center simply say Mother board problem and ask 9500/- for mother board or 173 /- as diagnostic charges
so please call to get your HTC working with proper OS
my phone is working properly just before 6.0.x OS update....
hope so no. of calls can make them realize real problem with there OS not in hardware
THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE YOUR PHONE WORK calling HTC Customer Care Or Email ( i tried every thing posted in this web site but its restarting & looping... for all stock OS and CM13 and All other Nice OS / all recovery TWRP and Flashing tools i used but no luck...

I have brick my TCL U65C7006 during the update

Hello,
Last night when I powered on my TV on the screen I had the message "installing new update" or something similar.
After few minutes the screen of the TV was black and I turned off the TV and after that I turned back on.
In this moment the it's booting up normal but when i'm trying to access any app like youtube, file manager, etc it's turnig the screen black and it goes back to the beginning.
If i'm pressing any button on the remote it's doing the same, the screen turns fast black and I get back to main menu.
I have downloaded the android from the TCL website but I'm not able to reinstall it. Does anyone has any idea how to enter recovery mode or something from where I can reinstall my android ?
In the right side of the TV there is a button that can go up down, left , right and it's also powering on the tv. I have no other buttons on the tv.
The model of the TV it's this : TCL U65C7006 sorry about this , but seems I am not able to add the link .
Thank you very much.

Seems that I was able to fix this . I have insert the USB stick on the USB 2 not in USB 3 and it's fixed now.
Thank you very much.
You have to use USB Port 3 Not Port 2
