We have 2 chinese-english TWRP
http://www.miui.com/thread-23286553-1-1.html
http://www.miui.com/thread-23429227-1-1.html
I've installed first. And after successful installation, WIFI no longer works.
Now I am reflashing MIUI...and I will try second recovery.

@PeppeCNN
Okay. I have to tell you. This is WORKING TWRP.
It contains English and Chinese only.
Download link: https://mega.nz/#!TpojlSIA!ymMSB9wBHiza9kSAzqO-8idkuv5mRsvMXQ5rno4Z-so
Redmi 7 special edition TWRP Chinese and English modified optimization version
build date: 2019.4.20
modell: red rice 7, redmi 7
developer: wzsx150
team name: LR.Team
Quote from the Chinese website:
pre-brush into the third-party rec, must unlock the phone! ! Again, the brush machine is risky, please be cautious!
1. This rec supports data partition automatic decryption , encrypted data can be used normally under rec. The official system defaults to encrypting data partitions.
2. This rec supports the official full-page card swipe, but it may cover twrp; when upgrading automatically, you can remove the checkbox of the setting > auto-restart option for easy operation.
3. The bootloader must be unlocked to be able to brush into a third-party rec.
4. Built-in advanced > root system / clear root function.
5. Built-in advanced > remove dm checksum and cancel the forced encryption function, through certain operations, you can remove the official data forced encryption (understand people naturally understand how to operate, because avb2.0 exists, this function may not be normal).
6. Prevent the functions covered by the official rec: root system, signature boot, remove dm check, cancel forced encryption, etc. (some functions may cause the system to fail to enter, carefully operate).

Huawei Ascend P1
All-In-One Developement Tool v2.2
Hi everyone! I saw that for our P1 there wasn't a good script tool yet, so I decided to make one!
Please don't be too severe, I'm just a man with a computer and a lot of hopes xD
Now avaibile in:
- Italian
- English
Anyway, this tool will let you:
Do backups and restores
Flash and emulate custom recoveries
Flash and emulate stock recoveries
Install and uninstall apks
Install ADB & FASTBOOT
Find some phone info
Get root permission
Wipe just like in a custom recovery
Unroot
Reboot in bootloader and recovery
Download ROM
Before you start:
In some script, prompt will say to you "Make a choice:" -> When it will ask so, simply type THE NUMBER related to the option, NOT THE OPTION ITSELF!
I suggest you to work in a Desktop folder
If you want to move the tool, move the whole folder, or it won't work
Don't run the tool as admin, or it won't work!
WHEN PROMPT SAYS "MAKE A CHOICE", DON'T PRESS ENTER UNLESS YOU'VE ALREADY WRITTEN THE OPTION, OR THIS MAY CAUSE REAL STRANGE EFFECT (FOR SOME REASONS I DON'T KNOW) AND TOOL WON'T WORK PROPERLY! IN CASE, CLOSE AND RE-OPEN THE TOOL
Download:
V2.1 - http://d-h.st/3Mq
V2.2 - http://d-h.st/iqV

Unroot option added.
Help option added.

1.3
Solved some bugs in the .bat file and in folder FAST SCRIPTS.
If you came from 1.2, download just the incremental pack and replace the older files with the newer ones
1.2
Tool semplified
Drivers installation automatized (maybe xD)
Fast scripts improved
Script organization is not modular anymore -> Faster, better, (stronger)
1.1
Definitely more lighter. ( 80 MB -> 48 MB )
One script, to rule them all xD
Added fast scripts -> If you know very well what you have to do, you can select the related script, instead of the AIO.

Obviously doing root will make you lose guarantee, but if you do a backup with cwm or twrp before you root, you can restore your guarantee (in case of problems) restoring the nandroid backup
PS: with "India version" you mean that it is with brand?
PPS: I think you would say B229, not B929 xD right?

OK.. Try doing this procedure again and wait, maybe it is just a time matter
Meanwhile I'll check if there is any error in the code that makes you stop.
EDIT: Ok, I checked the code and I can assure you that there are NO ERRORS in batch so it can be caused just by fastboot.. I'm glad to hear that fastboot installation went well, because this means that the script works.. Try doing it again, and tell me if you get the same error, alternatively you can try using twrp or another version of cwm.. Nothing changes

Sorry, link not working.. Reuploaded

In the next version I'll slightly modify menu and add:
wipe data
wipe cache
wipe dalvik
wipe data
format system
Other suggest?
I've started the tool's "restoration".. Hope I will soon update to 2.1
News:
• Better backup
• New menu with newer settings
• New roms
• Maybe, MAYBE, it will be in different colors according to sections, risk,... But I think that I will wait a bit more for this.. Maybe in the 3.0 version
Stay tuned

[SOLVED] How to apply OTA update with TWRP & Magisk root? Apply latest Factory image

[SOLVED] How to apply OTA update with TWRP & Magisk root? Apply latest Factory image
I have Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with TWRP & latest Magisk 14.0 and Magisk Manager 5.4.3. Running MIUI 9.1 Global Stable 9.1.1.0. It is working great! I was just notified of an OTA update 9.1.2.0 from Xiaomi. How do I apply it without losing data & root? Thanks!
Edit - [SOLVED] see this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74706923&postcount=8
Same question here, I am on Global beta 7.11.6 and want to Update to 7.12.1 but Update doesnt work because twrp is installed as recovery?
Normally for an OTA to be installed it needs the stock recovery otherwise it will fail during checks. So you would have to flash stock recovery and then you could take or flash OTA then you would have to re-root and flash TWRP

OK. Thanks. So best would be to wait until factory image of 9.1.2.0 is available and flash it over the top of current via TWRP?
I'm remembering a tool from when I had Nexus 5 called FlashFire. Wonder if that would work?

Yeah you could do that or wait for one of the developer to update their factory rom to flash over top. I just checked out the flash fire app and it gave a warning about Xiaomi devices not tested to use caution if you want to try

Thanks for your reply. Now I know it was obvious but if you consider that this is my first Xiaomi device you'll understand my question.
Would you please link me something relevant about how to start modding in mix 2 that is not in OP right now? It would really help me.. I know it's possible to find many guides by googling but you know, something suggested by an expert user is always better than the first one found online
Thanks a lot! [emoji106]

I'm going to test it on the p20.
Ladies and gentlemen soon a twrp will be hopefully released for P20 pro (tested) and should hopefully work on P20 which will have decryption support.
Don't believe me?
I'm talking to the developer who built it so stay tuned you'll eventually see it

Hello!
First and foremost, massive thank you for your work.
Second: it, unfortunately, doesn't work for me on my EML-L29TWRP (or I just messed up something). I followed the flash trough Fastboot command, installed magisk manager app but there is no supersu available like on your screenshots I have unlocked my bootloader properly ( get all warnings how my phone cant be trusted).
I just need superSU to remove retail demo app but if necessary I'm willing to debug software.
Also, I have screen captures to show my issue but because I am a new user I cant share them.

This is a good news. We all wait for this famous twrp, so if it is almost operational it's really an excellent news.

Only downside for now is you can only decrypt if you have no password set. Though

You might want to tell the builder to check the commit from TWRP for Pixel 2. February security patch causing that decryption problem when user have password set. But it has been fixed since march by DeesTroy.
Saftynet is being tripped.

Interesting. This could be though due to demo unit possibly. Since it most likely isn't going to pass safetynet I can't tell

On a other side, it's not a big problem. It's simple to remove security password, install twrp and root, and then, put again the security with password.
That was what we had to do with the OnePlus 5T at the beginning of the first versions of TWRP.
we hope that a functional and downloadable version will be available soon
On the other hand if huawei could allow to download a ROM Stock, it would still be safer in case of bad flashing or brick phone. But can we hope that soon, not sure.

Installation procedure - 2nd post
Enjoy
Just few hours i got my bootloader unlocked. i did the installation and everything is working fine except one thing which is the magisk , the 18.0 version couldn't be installed. i keep 17.1 , Full screen is fine and no issue. the twrp is done and no more going to stock recovery.
my installation was :
1. unlocking bootloader
2. installation of twrp via fastboot.
3. reboot while pressing the volume up to reach recovery.
4. switch recovery language to english
6. format data from wipe.
7. reboot to recovery from reboot menu of twrp.
8. copying the rom file 8.12.7 to the internal storage
9. installing the rom.
10.reboot.
after finishing wizards and configure google account reboot again and install the magisk 17.1
Enjoy
Please give us complete guide to install, from unlock to final installation
I believe in we should have unlocked bootloader, then using fastboot to flash the twrp recovery -i had November 24 build-
Factory reset via twrp and installation of this build.
Myself i need around 3days to get my bootloader unlocked and install it. Maybe newer build will be available.

Happy to hear this.. awaiting my bootloader unlocking....:good:
Do not wipe the system partition before flashing the ROM. And you should come from a MIUI ROM.
I installed it via the following steps:
- Flash fastboot factory dev ROM 8.11.8 from here: http://www.miui.com/shuaji-393.html (flash_all.sh)
- Validate that the Device boots
- Flash TWRP Recovery "recovery-TWRP-3.2.3-1205-XIAOMI_MIX3-CN-wzsx150.img"
- Reboot and hold volume up until you get into the Recovery menu. Mostly the device will reboot 2 times here.
- Download and push the xiaomi.eu ROM to the device via "adb push xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix3_8.11.30_v10-9.zip /sdcard/xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix3_8.11.30_v10-9.zip"
- Flash the zip and reboot
- Enjoy

Magisk 18 doesnt work, 17.3 is working, SafetyNet check - Success
Adaway - Copying of hosts file failed. Fixed, i am not sure is it because of Magisk/Settings/Systemless hosts, or restart cpl of time. But now its working.
Bluetooth cant find my Amazfit watch.
MGC 6.1.021 MI8 V1d - works perfectly
Those are bugs I am facing after install.
OK Google word is working? Even with screen off?
I get this error
D:\Download\MiMIX3\perseus_images_8.11.8>fastboot getvar product 2>&1 | findstr /r /c:"^product: *perseus" || echo Missmatching image and device
how can i do? it's the first time. image of perseus is correct

You shouldn't need to flash that, worked fine for me not being on 8.11.8.

Wipe data/dalvik
Install EU zip
Factory reset
Reboot

With a Stock ROM you will need to root the phone and use Magisk modules for the device to be certified.
what purpose does it serve?

If the play store is not certified, no Netflix, etc. and the banking apps do not work.
This is due to the unlocked bootloader on a stock rom.
ok I am now on MIUI EEA.
Flash ok..
Very thanks!
I installed EEA. Have hard time to sign in to google in the beginning...but I found way around...

Hi there, i've just got my CN rom 13 ultra but can't proceed with unlock and flash because of certain issues.
1) I can't use the latest Miunlock version because it gets detected as a virus by McAfee. The version i'm currently on is 6.5.224.28, is that sufficient for 13 ultra?
2) On Miflash i'm told to install certain things, how do i find them for download? I could click on continue but i don't know if it'd work properly nor would i like to risk bricking my new phone due to some unforeseen errors.

Also, has anybody tested out the camera system? Mine seems to use the same lens for 1x 3.2x and 5x zoom, no idea if it's a CN rom thing....
EDIT: unchecking "auto adjust lens" fixed that

Why use the other account (explanations)?
I'm not sure, but i probably used the same email to either attempt to flash another phone or for my current phone, i can't remember which, as i am using now to log into MiUnlock.
what would happen if i proceed, will i lose ability to use any of my current phones?

The answer is indicated in the screenshot.
Not exactly, it says i won't be able to access the account, not unable to use the phone itself. Now i can't remember if a xiaomi account needs to exist and be tied with a phone for it to be fully usable
