Yep but exynos 9610 do support 4k at 120 fps

Hello guys,
I understand that you want some features that we do not have on our phones.
Is true that Exynos 9610 is recording 4K at 120fps but due bunch of software limitations we cannot do anything about this.
The only way to have everything is to be able to have full control over the phone software.

How to get full control of the software then??

It depends on what do they include as hardware is very oddly when dealing with IMG series 6 compared with Snapdragon 800 series.
Shortly, one of the newest SoC, MTK6795 (Helios X10) has IMG G6200 inside while Your asked is equipped with IMG G6430, You may refer gsmarena.
It is believed the system you mentioned can handle 4K recording. However, There may be no accelaration when recording in HEVC.

Unlocking 4K/120fps on Exynos 9810 chipset

According to this article (https://www.gsmarena.com/check_out_tfirst_samsung_galaxy_s9_benchmarks-news-29813.php), the 9810 can shoot [email protected] but purposely disabled to maintain parity with SD845.
Can any devs comment on whether it is possible to unlock this feature for Exynos chipsets?

Well no one has the phone so no one knows...
Believe me when I say I will definatly try to unlock that option if the phone is capable of root and I can decrypt the camera app.... I've done it for the note 3-7 but gave up after getting busy... I'd also turn off the 5 minute rule

Nice to hear such devs are available who like to use all camera potential locked by business OEM . Please sir can you make 60/120fps 1080 to work on mi mix 2. Also 240fps @720p. Because sir Moto Z2 force has same imx 386 sensor same as mi mix 2 but it can do all above said. Xiaomi locked mi mix 2 only @30fps at any video. And slow Mo @120fps. Please help sir

Ohhhh that's a problem. Bye the way thank you. It means my mix 2 will remain pathetic in video department.
Buffers for 1080p/480 are most probably hardlocked somewhere in the kernel or samsung camera API or in the rom itself, the best answer we may have here is from @zeroprobe .

slow motion 240/480 fps

hi, i want ask if someone tried to make a custom kernel that support the 480fps slowmotion (or 240 also), all smartphone use 240 fps and Sony xz premium have 960fps! why if the Soc is the same? i think that sensor can support
Because our devices don't use DRAM camera sensors .
I got a hobby witch is astronomy/astrophotography and I saw the benefits of a CMOS or a ccd sensor with DRAM
is like a cache partition where the millions of photos save temporary before to be saved on your internal memory
I got 13 astronomy cameras with different values .some of them they are for fast readout like sun planets up to 480 FPS on usb 3.0
Some of them with big sensor like 10 megapixels got usb 2.0 and the filesize is big and the readout is so slow
So different purposes
Or something like that .

Really, I don't understand, if OP Camera is capable to do this! So why not?
Thanks
Sony xz premium can do that(960fps), and all other smartphone have 240 FPS slow motion, so why Oneplus 5t have only 120 FPS? I think the problem is the software
How to set the 120 fps in the oos camera in 5t?

You can't do with stock camera ... But you still can record 120fps slow motion via bacon camera but the quality is very poor. ...
And why slowmotion sucks on Oneplus 5t?

As far as I know ... The camera sensor is capable of doing 120fps slow motion and yes ... Bacon camera do ... Record 720p slow motion in 120fps ... But .... The slow motion quality is very poor on the other hand OOS camera do 30fps ...720p slow motion ... And quality seems ok ... But 30fps is way to low ..bytheway .you can check the fps rate via MX video player ....
Anyways I love my 5t ... Except the slow-motion ... Cause i had a galaxy s7 edge earlier and the slow motion on galaxy s7 edge was amazing ... S7 record 240fps slow motion @720p ...
And I totally forgot to add ... That S7 edge have a dual pixel but 5T doesn't have dual pixel
guys, other phones like galaxy s6, nexus 5x and cheaper phones have 240fps slow motion, WTF is doing oneplus? i take information on the camera sensor and it can support easy the 240fps
Native camera app doest record 120fps?
It does but video is saved at 30FPS

How does the 'Youtube App' decides his Quality output?

Today, i've received my Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. And noticed that the Youtube App doesnt play videos quality higher than 1080p, but previously i'd a Xiaomi Mi Note 3 and it was possible to choose 4K Videos.
How does the Youtube App calculate their limitness? I mean Mi Mix 2 has a bigger screen and more powerful CPU than the Mi Note 3.

How has it got no value? Phone has a 1080p screen, not a 4k screen so selecting a 4k video won't show it in 4k, it will show it in 1080p. Not rocket science.

S20 camera

Hi, I just purchased a Samsung s20 4G, taking close-up photos of a text or image that fails to focus with 64 mpx mode. Is it a software or hardware problem? Do I have to take it to service? Thank you

Welcome to the s20 bull**** [emoji1787] update the firmware, and reset the camera app. That should solve. Other return it and buy other brand in 2020 [emoji2957]

What are you trying to focus ? You can't focus something that is under 30 cm from your device

something like that ??
if I want to photograph an identity document or photograph an inscription on a drink, for example, I can't ...
When you use the telephoto camera with 3:4 12mp in any magnification level you should be at a minimum distance of 10cm-4inch away from the subject.
When you use the telephoto camera with 3:4 64mp you should be at a minimum distance of 20cm-8inch away from the subject.
A lower distance results in a blured picture.

Thanks for answers

Is not a new way... It Must be that way. Is phones hardware limitation, that a macro lens in a dslr camera don't have.
