So you tried to install something that broke your filesystem,or just bad luck .We can fix that.
Requirements:
-a working brain
-1 hour of your life(depends on internet speed)
-sd card or usb with otg
-computer
So first we must download the firmware that we will use.
This is for ANE-LX1:

-after you downloaded,unarchive the file and inside the fresh folder you should see a Software folder.
-open it and copy the dload folder on your sdcard.
-now put the sdcard in your phone.
-now press power button+volume up+volume down,all at the same time.
-if your phone shows the emui logo and under it says "Verifying update package"then you are good to go.
-wait for it to finish and enjoy your phone again.
Now on the free bootloader unlock part.I do not own nor discovered this exploit and all the credits are due to the guys in the linked thread.

Reboot your device.
The process is complete you haver installed the custom recovery TWRP in your Honor 6X.
Root your smartphone
Place the SuperSU in your smartphone internal memory.
Reboot your smartphone in recovery mode. to reboot your smartphone in recovery mode first power off your smartphone then long press volume up + power button simultaneously until the Huawei logo appears
Flash the SuperSU.
Congratulation you have successfully rooted your Honor 6X.

I do not have the shade problem you describe, but magazine unlock is not working for me either - not really a feature I'm interested in personally.

This method may be outdated by now and I don't plan to update it, also keep in mind that this is very risky and there's a high chance of your device bricking.

Hello people this is my first thread (even though I've been quite some time here on xda):fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:, just with the intent to help LX3 owners who desperately flashed the dload Pie update from the LX1 and rebranded their phones to LGRP2-OVS models.
For the record LGRP2-OVS is the international software for our phones, but most of the times it comes with bugs, in this case it breaks the update system.
Disclamer
* I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed (like it did for me...).
* YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
* Oh and btw... your data WILL BE LOST.
In this guide I'll try to help you guys downgrade from Pie LGRP2-OVS to an stable oreo buid using HiSuite and Firmware Finder.
First of all you're going to need:
- A Windows PC (with internet of course)
- A ANE-LX3 model with the LGRP2-OVS software. You can check this in the settings>About phone and Build Number (see screenshots).
- Patience...
1) To start with, we are going to head up to our pc and add a line to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts (Open in notepad with administrator privilege's)

2. Download and install HiSuite 9.0.2.304:

3. Download HiSuite files.zip and replace:

HiSuiteConfig.xml in C:/Users/YOURUSERNAME/AppData/Local/Hisuite/userdata/UpdateDogDev
4. Download Firmware Finder and open it, head to the middle upper part of the program and click on cloud symbol that says "DNS update" (don't get confused with the right cloud that says "download manager"). Now copy the following text and paste it where it says "Register firmware for install on Team MT server" and then click Register.

It's important that you don't follow the instructions on the "DNS update" window, after you click register Just minimize everything, but DON'T close it.
5) Run HiSuite, connect the device and do what the program tells you so it can connect to your phone. Click on software update, the update should appear, make shure its the correct version for your phone. Click where it says "Switch to other version", then "earlier version" and finally hit restore.
HiSuite should start downloading the update and the installing it on your phone, your phone will bootloop for a couple of times and will perform a low level format, this is normal so don't be scared. Its important to remember that the process should not be interrupted otherwise your device will be bricked.

No, don't follow the instructions on the "DNS update" window. After you register the update go to the HiSuite software and follow the instructions on the post.

Just keep it if you want, there isn't much difference between variants and you shouldn't have problems with the updates.

Perhaps, try using the c521 link and see if it works
I'm in the process to downgrade, the installation went well.
The phone itself asked to erase all data...in fact it showed a FATAL ERROR on screen, red letters.
Now , after the low level format it's booting.
I used the link you provide me for the c771 variant

I just received the AL00 and ran the update which gave me EMUI 9.0.0.200.
I thought for sure we were already at 9.1 something.
I just want to make sure that via OTA updates I should only be on 9.0.0.200 or am I missing something and should be on a newer version of EMUI.

Yes. Unzip it. Then open up the "Software" folder and copy the entire dload folder to the root of your SD card/USB OTG. After that turn off your phone. Then power it back on by holding all the 3 buttons until you see the Software Update screen pop up.

Please note that by using this firmware and update method, OTA updates will be disabled and you won't be able to check for updates via HiCare & System. The only way to further update will be to manually download the newest firmware and use the HSTool/HiSuite patch methods.
This is because:
1. These firmwares are signed with EVR-LGRP1-CHN version which will eventually display as EVR-AL00 after install. Because of the difference in versions, HiCare can't check for updates via OTA
2. Since the only way to install the firmware on locked bootloaders is to alter the PC host file, this means that Huawei's cloud server does not recognise this ffw version and thus needs to be bypassed, which means that further updates will need to use the bypass method.

I was able to get 9.1.0.123 via original OTA update... after this, it says no update available via hicare / systemupdates....

I'm not able to source the firmware as of yet, but it is possible to check for OTA since you have the official firmware.

So ur phone is an P20lite with Android 10, So i have android 10 too and i dont need to downgrade my phone or anything like that? Because security patches?

When i opened the link normally it said it was in his trash and i couldn't touch it. However, i then opened it in a private window, instead of a normal one, and voila it worked....

no i also have a p9 and i cant unlock it
Damn, I just switched and dumped my iphone(Dont like it at all..) and bought mate p20 pro and now I read that I cant unlock the bootloader. FFS. Right now the phone is offering me to update EMUI to v10.0.0.180. I hold this update back and maybe there will be some way to unlock and root this phone in v9.1....

Voila! your Bootloader code now is TishSerg_For4pda
Boot into fastboot and do
fastboot oem unlock TishSerg_For4pda (even if u unlocked using nvme it will FULLY unlock Bootloader)

step 3 just plug your hard bricked phone and it will start flashing
no xiaomi id needed just select files included in this zip and your choice of rom thats all .

After unbricking my phone i tried it again and found out that i can only use this software once and get popup msg to contact some "Kailash" Guy. I don't know him and please dont get scammed thanks. And I m back to locked redmi note 8 pro with Indian rom.

yes i followed all these steps ... but when i plug usb cable ...opens Account Kilash_bhai_aapko_yaad_karte
Is anyone able to unbrick his/her device using this so flash tool. Or this so flash tool also require authorisation. please reply which person try this software.
So this method doesn't need an auth account to flash any firmware?

I successfully unbricked my device with this software that's why I posted.
Worked great using SP Flash Tool v5.2016.00 and begonia_global_images_V11.0.2.0.PGGMIXM_20191201.0000.00_9.0_global_d12d50b900
