OnePlus 6t cases on OnePlus 7? - OnePlus 7 Accessories

So because the body of the OnePlus 7 is almost identical to the OnePlus 6T, I was wondering if 6T cases would fit on this phone.
The two main differences between the two form-factors would be the earpiece size, and the camera module size. There are a lot of cases with an 'open' top part, so that the earpiece won't be obstructed.
So my question would be, would a case made for the OnePlus 6T also fit around the camera module of the 7?

I use a Mofi 6T case on my OP7 phone. Everything fits very well except for the alert slider which is a little lower on the 7 and difficult to operate. But I don't use the slider at all, so no problem for me.

Official Flip Cover from Oneplus for Oneplus 7
I wanted to get the original flip cover from oneplus for my oneplus 7.
Apparently there is that but not in the shop ..
Does anyone know if the flip cover from the 6T also fits?
Of the dimensions, both are almost identical except for the slightest deviations in length.
Thanks in advance

Yes, I upgraded from the 6T to the 7 and the dimensions are the same, the only issue I have is that closing the cover no longer shuts the screen off.

I wanted to buy the karbon fiber case of oneplus6t for fitting it on my oneplus 7. So it would fit right? I'm saying about the ordinary karbon fiber case not the bumper karbon fiber case.

Ok this for those who search this thread to know if 6t case fits 7 or not.
I just bought the karbon fiber protective case(not bumper) of 6t and it fitted perfectly on my oneplus 7. How ever that's not for every case. Like the bumper cases won't fit as they don't have cut outs for power and vol button. So look for those cases of 6t which have cutout for power and vol button and also the cam cutout has got no separator for flash.

I picked up the Ringke Fusion Clear case off Amazon. I am very disappointed by the whole thing. It does not fit the 1+2 in almost every detail. The case does not extend beyond the screen so if placed face down the screen will touch table or counters surface. I tried to show pictures off the main misalignments.

Last I looked didn't that case take like 3+ weeks for delivery?
I just got my OP2 and my accessories at the same time now! I have the Dual Layer Defender Protective Case Cover with Kickstand and damn it's bulky and hard to hold in my hand. I had a MI3 and OPO naked before (broke both phones and now I've learned my lesson) but I've been stuck with a 5C for a week. Hopefully I get used to the size and heft again of a 5.5", though this is the heaviest phone of all...

Many reviews of the gray case put it over stylecover but webstie says "Please note that to use this case you will need to remove the device's StyleSwap Cover as it is designed to snugly contour the OnePlus 2 without adding extra bulk." could you put picture with this case as recommended by one plus ? I am interested in i=this one

I've attached pictures of my phone and the case with my stock back cover and without (you can see my serial). It is very weird without. I can definitely feel the back as hollow and missing something. I'd advise to keep it on, it is as slim as can be. That's odd the website would say that if it fits without the back cover on.
I bought the Diztronic tpu case because I had it for the OnePlus and was very satisfied. Although it is roughly the same case as for the opo the finishing is not as good. There is a shiny edge where the camera is, which could have worked out great but just is not. The case is also not as tight as for the opo and corners will slip off the phone when getting it out of your pocket. On the other hand the case is still from a very durable shock absorbing material and the edge that stands out over the screen makes sure that the glass doesn't shatter when you drop it. The thing I like about it most is the fact that it simply makes the OnePlus look more humble. No thrills just a nice phone. All and all a good case but not as good as its predecessor.
im not happy with this at all..i have the black apricot..it is quite a bit thicker than the sandstone..im very disappointed in oneplus to sell styleswaps with different thicknesses..
I have both the orzly invisicase and fusion bumper..
with the invisicase..it loses the facedown protection..the screen comes out on top of the edges..because its too tight..the corners/edges will slipp off with a small touch..
with the fusion bumper..you clearly see it doesnt fit the contours of the device..especially at the cutouts and the top&bottom..
also the cutout for the usb port is too small for the standard oneplus cable (have to use some force) ..while its cut perfectly for the usb cables orzly is selling..
basically..these cases are only designed to use with the standard sandstone styleswap while intended for the other styleswaps..

Ultra thin case like Peel (tpu or other)?

Hey all. I'm looking for an ultra thin case similar to the case that peel makes for the iPhone. I haven't seen them post anything for the 3T or others yet. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi,
Since before OP3T I had iphone 7 and both Peel's (Super Thin iPhone 7
Case) and Caudabe's (The Veil XT) cases, I was also looking for something similar, but I can tell you that there is nothing similar to it, but I must say that original OnePlus 3/3T Karbon Case is awesome and you should definitely give it a try (before I went for Karbon Case I tested few noname TPU cases (don't like how TPU felt in hand), original Ebony Wood Case (it simply would not fit (not sure if mine was from a bad batch, but it was going over volume buttons) and Sandstone Case (don't like the feel of it at all(its like holding a sandpaper) + its much bulkier than Karbon Case)
OnePlus 3/3T Karbon Case:
1. I would definitely say its more slim than bulky;
2. Not only it protects the phone from scratches on the back, but it also allows you to put it face down (are 4 corners how these little up-going lips which protect the screen when its put face down)'
3. Probably the best part about is the feel - Karbon Case has real DuPont fiber) which is not only light, but creates great grip and has almost leather feel.
offtopic in regard of iphone 7 cases / peel cases:
p.s. I believe that Caudabes Veil XT was the best case I've ever had on a phone and it was definitely better than peel, because (1) peel case lacked grip an (2) caudabe's veil xt fits iphone 7 as close as it gets (with veil xt its almost impossible to tell that the phone has case).
There is a new leather back cover for the op3 by OnePlus.

Its too early to judge, but currently its holding up great. It also must be noted that I am actually phone-case hater, so if I actually like a case, it must be very good I consider cases bad since they take away all the looks and design, so the max I go for in case the phone does require a case (too fragile/slippery back) is scratch resistant cases like the mentioned Caudabe's The Veil XT Iphone 7 cases which is the best ever used/seen. OP3T is super-slippery, therefore having no case on it is not an option. I would call it the most slippery phone ever used (even more than Xiaomi Mi5)[/B][/U].

Strictly from focus perspective and moving objects I liked mi5 camera better, but now after some time with OP3T I have learned the skill to take decent pictures of moving objects even with OP3T, so I am definitely voting for OP3T.
MI5 looks good on paper and in pictures, but MI5 has zero premium feel when you actually hold it in your hand. It feels cheap when you hold it in the hand + the design of it is not ideal (to be honest its home button is one of the ugliest ever). OP3T on the other hand feels awesome to hold - same premium feel you have with top flagship phones. In comparison to my previous iphone 7 I do not feel like I downgraded in terms of overall design and how it feels in hand, except maybe for the horrendous camera bump (similar as on galaxy s6..then again latest iphone now also has a camera bump), but its not an issue if you get a case for it, like the awesome Karbon Case by OnePlus :good:

Leather folio case with flip cover, like on Nexus 6P

I've been very happy with the case on my Nexus 6P (this looks like the one: https://www.ebay.com/i/131886281154?rt=nc&var=431231132500). Now having preordered XL2, I've been searching for similar case, but so far haven't found anything that would be close enough match. I went through the Cover thread, and closest ones were cases like this and this but there appears to be few essential differences:
The plastic bumper around looks a lot thinner on these XL2 cases
XL2 cases all have kickstand, which basically means the backside is not as thick/protective against drops
I don't need any CC slots (although having one isn't a show stopper)
Most of these XL2 cases look cheap at least in pictures
Even tried asking @madebygoogle on Twitter, but they didn't have any info on such cases. I'd happily pay that same (absurd) $50 or so for the case that I paid for this 6P case as it really is a premium case I've enjoyed using. Any tips are highly appreciated!

Ditto. Does anyone know who manufactured the Nexus 6P folio?
From what I've found they were produced by adoptednyc.
They show no new items since iPhone 7.
Facebook is quiet too for them.

I ordered 2 of these(2XL & 2).
Will report my assessment of them when they arrive.
Will likely take weeks, coming from China.
I prefer a flip case because of the added protection for the screen.
Also when I hold the phone in portrait mode I tend to use the flipped cover a secure holding grip.
The main downside is when taking a picture the cover gets in the way if I'm too hurried to get a picture.
I ordered the natural leather finished flip case without the strap or clasps from Tedded.
Looks to be of nice quality whereas it's real leather and not the plastic leather most cases use.
Where do the plastics cows come from? Do you feed them plastic packing peanuts?

So I received the cases today.
If the Nexus 6p official case was a 10, I'd give these Tetded cases an 8 or 8.5.
The hinge part of the flip cover seems a little flimsy, not in quality but in strength.
This causes the cover to wiggle or sit a little crooked at times. It isn't bad but not perfect.
The only other thing I'd change, if I could, would be to add a bevel to the area around the fingerprint sensor. Having a beveled surface makes it seem less deep when it guides your finger to the sensor. The hole on this case is is good, but again, not perfect.
All cutouts are properly placed, so no issues there.
All in all, I'd recommend this case to anyone who liked the official Nexus 6p case.

TETDED
Just received my flip case from Tetded.
If you desire a case that wasn't made from last months recycled Coke or Pepsi bottle this is the one to purchase.
I bought the flip case without the latch, the classic vintage brown version. It has the feel of fine leather, not something made from camel scrotum. The cover does interact with the screen as it should.
Access to the side buttons is good the fingerprint sensor is recessed a bit but access is also good.
The only downside at the moment is I use a magnetic phone holder in my vehicle that requires a very thin steel plate be applied to the inside of the front cover I usually use a credit card slot of which there are none. Tomorrows project.
the case is pricey but so wasn't the phone now to find a glass screen protector that doesn't have issues.
Don't ask for "pics" friggen Google Tetded.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm in the same boat. One question for anyone that has the TetDed folio case. 1) How's it holding up a few months down the road? and 2) does the cover hold shut via magnet? Or is it just floppy? Thanks in advance to anyone still monitoring this.

Mine is holding up great, but I'm the type that doesn't have the cover open a lot.
My wife's is not holding up as well cause she is constantly on the phone.
The wear & tear that bothers me about hers is that the cover doesn't rest properly when closed now. it wants to sit crooked by default, resulting in me having to adjust it whenever I see it.
Overall, I think they are still a good option for folio covers, just not nearly as perfect as the Nexus 6p cover.
thanks for taking a chance and for reviewing the leather case.

I have been binging on Oneplus 7 Pro review videos and the phone seems to come with a clear TPU case in the box. Not sure if that is for all variants though. I was going to order a clear case off Amazon, but I'll wait until I see if it comes with one.

Stock case is really thin.... So i usually go with 1 of the big names for a case
I wish UAG makes a case for this phone.

But they Must lower the price.
I went through Amazon today to find a screen protector and a case, some of them already have reviews that are 10 days old, those paid reviews don't make the choice easier...
It will be interesting to see which ones work well with a good screen protector

I like thin cases so I ordered a Nillkin https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RSGPBRT/ref=twister_B07DCQVJX4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I had one on my McLaren for months. Took a few drops, works well, minimum bulk and weight.

Just wished it had a magnetic back like the Nillkin I'm using for the 6T.
Still waiting for the phone but I have already ordered:

Official One Plus Silicone Case (Red) for 7 pro
Any word regarding the Red Silicone Case for the 7 pro? Loved it on my 6T!
dbrand grip <3 comes in 1 month
https://dbrand.com/shop/grip/oneplus-7-pro-cases
I may try that DBrand Grip case when it comes out. I heard good things about that case.
Really thinking about upgrading from my 1+5... You guys would trust in a bumper (only edge covering) to protect this phone? what do you think about that kind of "cases"?
I'm looking on Amazon but it seems that most the ones at the top are full of fake reviews. Some of them have 5+ reviews and none are even verified purchases...
I may just check out a couple of the 10 dollar ones and see how well they work.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q519FB2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got that one and worse case returning it is easy if there are issues
Osophter Dual Layer Cases Hard
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q1NFX8L..._4S12Cb6FBFTMZ
I ordered in dark cyan.
I like the Ringke but it won't arrive when I get the phone.
My phones always have a case.
I like the Karbon case from Oneplus, I just didn't want to fork over close to $40 for a case.
I went with this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q4MKCN2
No idea how good it is, but I'll update once I get it.

Question Clear case with button Cutouts

Hi,
Any oneplus 9 pro clear case likehe original s10 plus clear case? I meant with cutouts for every button instead of plastic covering on the button themselves?

Instead of a clear case why don't you try out mobile skins, I have been using Gadgetshieldz skins on my 9 Pro for 5 months and it is very lighter than cases and gives good protection against scratches on the back.
well, i wanted some amount of protection from fall damage too. Do these skins do that?

I use these.
Very minimal cases... They offer "some" protection.
Case 1
Case 2
