Yes, maybe because the AEX's source wasn't updated recently ... while LOS 16.0 is up to date

i don't seem to be able to use the Home button on my MediaPad M3 10
Things like long press actions and swipe up or down on the home button.
The only thing that seems to work with the home button is the fingerprint recognition to unlock the tablet.
Am i doing something wrong

No, because I see that there is hardly anyone interested in other custom ROMs than LineageOS
If this ROM will be appreciated in the future, I will come back with an update to Android 10 on this rom, until then I see that all the interest and discussions are on LineageOS.

There will be no update for this older ROM.
By the way, there is a new ROM Android 10 Pixel Experience wich is almost identical with this one, so if you want to use pure AOSP experience on your device with the last Android 10 go there and update your device !

AOSP and CAF.
Well, basically, CAF is the place where Qualcomm pushes their sources for their hardware. This is the source code that all OEMs base their code off of. CodeAurora keep updating the branches with performance updates throughout the year until the next new Android release.
AOSP is Google's new Android revision that they release twice every year. Typically, when Google start working on a new Android version, they fork off from CodeAurora and start adding new libraries, newer code and so on.
According to Brinly Taylor (a.k.a @uberlaggydarwin), "CyanogenMod just wouldn't be possible for all the QCOM devices without CAF although we are not directly based off CAF. " He also goes on to say that CAF is just a fork of AOSP with a "TON of a hardware based code" for Qualcomm devices...

I m working on it

Since it is nougat I guess it will be possible to use google assistant on it , hoping for camera fix soon , anyway thanks for your effort and time spent on these ROMs , these ROMs keep an old device as modern as most of new flagship devices (from the software perspective which is 50% of the device)

I think camera and Bluetooth are not the only bugs as flashlight in not working and I can't edit the notification bar tiles and the ROM is quiet unstable if you restart the system ui it stays on a black screen till restart...

Camera, flashlight and bt is bug already mentioned.
Tiles bug is related on source code of RR, I have also on p8 lite.
Restarting system ui with substratum cause black screen.

Okay, for editing the quick setting tiles: a temporary workaround
After a reboot, pull down the status bar and edit it.( It will work smooth after a reboot, just once). Remove Bluetooth and flashlight. Add anything else if you wish or leave it. Now the quick settings will work normal without any lags or freezes. But editing the tiles maybe a bug in source code as @DarkJoker360 said.
Brightness slider is working smooth too.
For system ui restart: Wait for some time without pressing too many buttons and crashing the system. It takes a while in this. Like 20 secs or so

You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

Finally. Android 10 on the LG G4!!!
Thanks to @steadfasterX, @DevUt, @tullyp, @kessaras, @masemoel and everyone else who contributed along the way

This ROM is already pretty much bug free..
But if you find something, please report it with logcat..
I won't be adding Security Patches to the ROM, as we are working on bringing A11 to the G4, but that could take a couple of months, so enjoy A10 for the moment
NOTE: For VS986 to get service, network settings has to be set to Global for LTE and CDMA, and must dial out once at every boot. (May be helpful in setup instructions) (thanks to @tullyp for the info)

Thanks for keeping the G4 alive! Briefly loaded this ROM to test and noted it is a Beta versions so sure will be updated.
1. Loaded on a vs986 Verizon, so needed to strip asset line in H811 build.
2. For VS986 to get service, network settings has to be set to Global or LTE and CDMA, and must dial out once at every boot. (May be helpful in setup instructions)
3. Does take a long time to setup, but to be expected on first boot. Experienced no battery problem.
4.. Somewhat laggier than the e/OS ROM, but has much more overhead with full gapps, and I did not give much time to burn in.
Overall, a ful feature ROM if going all google. Thx again!

This ROM is never going to be as fast as a light rom like LineageOS or e/os, but for a ROM that has the amount of features that it has, it is superbly optimised, I find..

New h811, h815, h815_usu, h812_usu and f500_usu uploaded to the msmXtended folder..
This means no need to flash baseband before flashing UsU ROMs
Clean Flash MANDATORY!!
Fixes:
Location/RIL bug
Annoying charging light flashing
RIL stability improved
GPS speed improved
UI/System speed improvements

I just tried to set a pin on msmXtended and had no issues. Try this link. I have had that before in Android Oreo, I think. There is a zip file that you can flash via TWRP at the end of the article.

there is no camera either in h812_usu
tried at least half dozen camera from above links.....some apk does not even open, others apk installs but crashes
Anybody has a suggestion for an actually working camera on a LG-G4 h811/h812 ?

beside a missing camera app, this ROM is excellent to give new life the 2015 LG G4 devices, did a clean install of Rom and gapps , wiped Dalvik & Cache, reboot
everything working, even some very picky financial apps (I did not rooted because of them!)

Honestly, this is one of the Custom ROM for Realme X, even better than Realme UI . No lags, better RAM management. I am facing one problem when I click a photo on the Camera GO application, the shutter clicks but no photo is captured.
Any solution for this?
And Also there is one more problem with VOLTE Video Call. When I switch to VOLTE video call on the Phone app, the call ends up.

Yeah, seems like carrier video calling won't work, as for Camera go problem that shouldn't occur, try using Gcam 8.1.

Try running this USB controller fix as admin, it adds some registry keys and check if fastboot works after this.

Finger on display not working after device sleep more than 30 sec
You have to use power button to wake the device up then use fingerprint sensor

1. App grid in Wallpapers & styles is not changing from 5x5 to anything else if it changes it breaks the home screen widgets.
2. In "DerpSpace" under "Statusbar" Clock & Date settings -> clock position is not working properly, it's showing a blank space to the left side but the clock is still in the middle
3. Generally It requires a restart to apply some of the settings like changing wifi and signal icons under Customisation
4. Lockscren UI -> media cover art filter. is not working at all!
5. no wallpaper suggestion on the home screen.

Fingerprint won't work on aod normally, you can turn on realme parts>Ambient display> pick up, which will make it work only when there's movement.

Looks like most of these are source side issue, source is getting updated regularly so I guess most will be fixed with next build.

Yes, I do plan to update it, for the update just flashing the zip over previous build should be fine, no need to wipe anything and you won't lose any data, but do take a backup of important stuffs just to be on safer side.

Recovery is optional, but required if you need decryption support. Just follow the instructions and flash the rom, flash the recovery later if you need decryption.
