66hz, thank you. Works well on miui10 9.8.15 Q.

69 also works smoothly. Will 81/90 be supported?

Xiaomi.eu 9.8.15 tried all all laggy or buggy :/

Using 69hz on miui 9.8.15 Q, seems working well

Is there a way to make this work on the Mi9T Pro?

So its not possible to get 75hz on Q like on P

Works great 66HZ
Only the fp doesn't work
Idk why

Hei man, I have the Global 9t pro as well did you manage to install the mod ? im on miui 11 and would like to increase the refresh rate.

I've read that some people broke their displays with screen overclock mods. Don't use them for a few refresh rates over stock, not worth a broken screen

You cannot physically damage a modern display with just overclocking the refresh rate.

I flashed the 72 and 69 dbto on the latest Xiaomi.eu stable (12.0.3.0) but nothing changes. The refresh rate stays at 60. Am I doing something wrong? I just flashed the corresponding dbto to the dbto partition with the latest TWRP.

Hey there ! This thread seems to be dead have you found a way to make it work on miui ?

[GUIDE] Having a decent Android P GSI experience while Markus works.

So, this is how I PERSONALLY got a pretty decent experience on phhussons P GSI.
I am not responsible if something doesn't work or doesn't work the way you want.
Update: The PixelExperience build over on the Treble section works pretty well and eliminates the need for Overlays_Pr1.zip as well as Bitgapps. It's also including gapps (with SetupWizard as well as the pixel launcher). Same bugs as listed below.
Step 1: Trebleizing your phone
Download the latest trebleized Lineage OS ROM by SGCMarkus here and install it.
Make sure to read his guide to repartition your device carefully, otherwise this won't work.
Step 2: Prerequesites to have a nice time with Android P.
Before we wegin with the GSI stuff, you will have to copy the build.prop [or if you have the device fingerprint for your phone, just copy that] to a safe location.
Step 3: Installing the GSI
Download phhusson's latest Pie GSI from here
Unzip it and load it onto your phone's storage.
Proceed with wiping your /system, /data, /cache and Dalvik. Do not wipe /vendor (duh.)
Then install the image by tapping "Install image" button in the selection screen.
Step 4: Installing GAPPS
Download BitGapps from here. (I do **not** recommend using unofficial OpenGapps, as I run into several issues with them.)
[This version of GApps does not include any SetupWizard, which means you will have to download all your apps manually!]
Step 5: Fixing Device not Certified
While the notification doesn't pop up, it is indeed not certified and is (one of) the reason(s) why the phone gets so hot sometimes.
So what you need to do is download Magisk 16.7 (or later) as well as MagiskPropsHideConfig from here
as well as get any terminal app from the Play Store you like. [I personally like Material Terminal, as you can copy/paste in it]
After doing that, open a terminal window and type "props" (without quotation marks). Then select 1 and enter your device fingerprint (either from the build.prop we saved earlier or the fingerprint you saved somewhere)
Step 6: Makin' it nice.
So most of this besides maybe the Vibrator are purely optional, so you can go and enjoy some Pie if you wish.
Vibration:
- reboot to TWRP
- mount /vendor
- Install SGC's sGSI fix from here
- Install temp_vib_fix_joan_v2.zip from the attached files. Doesn't fix the dullness that occurs after some time.
DT2W:
- reboot to TWRP
- mount /system
- Install dt2w_on_gsi_joan.zip
Proper rounded corners and that new navbar[not required on PE P GSI]:
- Reboot to TWRP
- mount /vendor
- Install Overlays_PR1.zip from the attached files. (not mine, it's from erfanoabdi's Telegram group, will add proper credits if i manage to find the creator)
- Navigate to Settings -> System -> Gestures -> Swipe up to home
Additional System Accents (Yay! Colors!)
- Reboot to TWRP
- Install System_Accents_P.zip from the attached files. (not mine, it's from erfanoabdi's Telegram group, will add proper credits if i manage to find the creator)
Always-on Display (DT2W still works!)[Not required on PE P GSI]
According to phhusson, this does more than just enable AOD apparently, and it does something with the vibration, so installing this is on **your own risk** (not like it wasn't anyways)
-Reboot to TWRP
- Install P_AOD_FIX_-_by_ElHechicero.zip (not mine, credit goes to ElHechicero)
Getting Wellbeing [Not requried on PE GSI]:
-Download the Wellbeing.apk from ApkMirror
-Rename it to WellBeing.apk
-Move it into /system/priv-app/WellBeing/ (create the folder WellBeing)
-Reboot
Getting a nicer launcher with the appdrawer[PE P GSI uses the Pixel Launcher]:
-Download Nokias (HMDs) Launcher from ApkMirror
-Rename it to Quickstep.apk
-Replace /system/priv-app/Quickstep/Quickstep.apk with the Nokia launcher (which you renamed to Quickstep)
-Reboot
Issues:
- A lag when tapping on the "Default Apps" or the Bluetooth/NFC area in Settings
- Can get warmer when in playstore
- Vibration: Gets dull and sounds like static after a while. Hopefully SGCMarkus will be able to fix this or we'll be stuck with the dullness on P gsi's for now.
Not working:
-Hotspot
-NFC (?) [Seemed to work just fine on my device]
- Let me (or others, rather.) know.
Credits go to:

Any launcher is. Just the new Recents Appdrawer will only work with certain devices. As of now those are working: AOSP Quickstep, Nokia Quickstep(Also called Android One launcher), The Pixel launcher (but doesn't work by installing?? [works on the PE P GSI tho]) and sometime in the future Lawnchair V2.

[PATCHES] For getting the best out of treble roms. [Notch, Sound and NFC fixed]

Hello everybody!
This patch is for getting the notch working on treble roms.
- Tested on PHH Treble (9.0)
Manual:
Mount system and vendor in TWRP
adb push treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk /vendor/overlay/treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk
adb push treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk /system/overlay/treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk
Download: treble-overlay-xiaomi-mi8.apk
To fix the crappy sound:
- Reboot into TWRP
- Mount vendor
- Use file manager to remove the whole soundfx direcory (/vendor/lib64/soundfx)
To fix NFC:
- Download the zip (over here)
- Reboot into TWRP
- Mount vendor
- Flash the zip
Current bugs on phh-treble (9.0) :
- Fingerprintscanner pretend to be an enter / select key.
- Camera is not yet the quallity of the stock MIUI
- Hotspot is not working (Bluetooth thering does work)
PS:
If you find something to patch, let me now!
Also if you got a patch, be nice to share it

All treble roms will work on Mi 8, because it's launched with Android 8.0 or higher.
The Mi 8 is an A-Only version, so you have the flash the A-only image
It's only possible some features wont work, like wifi, camera and fingerprint scanner.
I use the PHH Treble (9.0) rom and I'm really satisfied
Still waiting on my Mi 8 to arrive, but I'm glad you figured out how to implement the notch! mind sharing an image of what the notifications look like now? does it have the overflow dot when the notifications exceed the room?
Thank you, this works great

Thanks, appreciate it. looks good, only problem is now that the clock is on the left there is only room for 2 notifications it seams. Wonder if there is any way to move the clock back to the right to make more room?

Havoc OS 1.0 works extremely well and I am very impressed with it. It also has a vast amount of Android P UI features already built in which is impressive for an 8.1 rom.
The only issue I have had, which I am monitoring, is that some apps randomly crash. A reboot appears to fix this issue.

Added selection, vibro to unlock, extended battery selection, battery position on the right / left side, togla, so far only managed to overcome in the open state (4-6), weather in the curtain, desktop slightly modified, icons slightly increased, clock and battery in the status bar, notifications in the status bar are slightly shifted closer to each other, three weather widgets with a clock from the worlds firmware, an iconopak with multi-room firmwares added.

Update 10.3.12
Changes: Added advanced sound setting, slightly changed the curtain.
For those who need a module, disassemble the previous one with any archiver and delete the system folder, take the same folder from the updated mod and drop it into the module. Remove the previous mod, reload and flash the new one that you have converted.
Can I flash this over mi-globe 10.3.12 as well?

You can try, but just in case, either make a backup with the system or pull out of your firmware 5 apk (IncalUI, MiuiHome MiuiSystemUI, Settings, TeleService) and 2 jar (framework.jar, services.jar) replace them in my mod it will be your rollback mod.
I simply flashed the TWRP mod but nothing seems to be changed. Am i doing something wrong?

Ah, my bad. I've read "global" instead of "globe". What do you mean with "eu stable"? EEA? And what about widevine L1? On xiaomi.eu you are stuck on L3

Can you send a proof? No offense but.... China ROM for mi9t/k20 doesn't have widevine support at all, so it's L3 in best case. You cannot watch HD with L3, no matter what you do. You didn't find the app because it's listed as "non-compatible" in playstore if you use EU or china rom. Just download DRM Info from playstore and check "Security Level". I think it'll say "L3" which means you watch Netflix and Amazon in 480p
If it's "L1" it would be also important to know why :fingers-crossed:

Dayum :crying: I thought you found the ultimate solution
Indeed 480p is good enough for a 6" display. But if you know that you can't watch HD just because of the DRM sh*t, it drives you crazy.
For those who want to flash on the mi-glob, they should be similar to eu but the backup system is better done

@fayzrus hi friend, could you create a magisk module instead of TWRP one for 10.3.12 if it is possible? Magisk module would be much more convenient to rollback if some issues will appear

Unfortunately, I do not have infinitely available memory, there is a module for 10.3.9. download it, download the mod for 10.3.12, remove the system folder from the mod 10.3.12 with the archiver and replace it in the module for 10.3.9

Does this also apply to the Poco M3 global version? Thank you!
wew very quick tho... Gonna install this when my brother's Poco M3 will arrive... He's an IPhone SE 2020 user and just purchased Poco M3 because he thought the smoothness of the X3 (its 120hz Refresh Rate) (I have Poco X3) will be the same on the M3... he's really obsessed with my X3 tho because i dunno... I was really shocked when he asked me whats the review of the M3, it is good and something like that and finally he said to me he purchased it online like it was nuts! Hahaha
I hope he will not be disappointed by the camera of the Poco M3 and its capabilities...
btw² how you managed to make a debloated rom of Poco M3 afterall like it was released just 1 week ago?

Coming from a phone that have an A13 Bionic chipset, that was on the last year Iphone flagships to a Poco M3 that have a midrange SD662 from 2019 (technically it's from January 2020, but the performance is equal to SD660 and SD665 from 2019 midranges), will be quite a shock in performance for your brother.
POCO M3 is nothig like the POCO X3, i am sure that your brother was tempted by the 120hz RR, the Poco M3 as peer the reviews cant even push the 1080P screen to display 60FPS.

Haha As writing on this time, my brother has now refused to receive his order online because he was so frustrated that its not as fast as the Poco X3 after viewing MKHBHD's review and he has just shared it to his friends girlfriend so there will be no time wasted ordering again.
Just installed this ROM yesterday. So far the performance is pretty good, I've even rooted with Magisk to debloat further and for some modules I use. The only issue is excluding the dark theme from certain apps, but after searching online it seems to be a known MIUI 12 problem and I was able to work around it.
Great always great roms by eu. Will install as soon as I unlock my bootlaoader hopefuly in a week

I'm using Magisk 20.4 stable. No problems with it so far. Also, to make it simple, I replaced the boot.img in the eu ROM with a Magisk patched one before flashing.

I mean... You are installing a new ROM. As long as you have a Poco M3 device, your current ROM does not matter...
You will be installing xiaomi.eu rom, based on chinese stable builds.

Here's the full instructions. https://www.thecustomdroid.com/inst...hing-magisk-patched-boot-image-using-fastboot
After you install the EU rom just follow method 2. You can find the stock boot img inside the EU rom zip file in the firmware-update folder. Just make sure your Magisk app is set to the stable branch v 20.4 I'm not sure if the betas are reliable yet.

When you flash the xiaomi.eu rom, it will replace your current ROM. So whatever if you have a global or european one, it will be replaced with xiaomi.eu.
So it doesn't matter the rom you have, it will work.
