After firmware fail to update. Mi BAND 4 is dead. - Xiaomi Mi Band 4 Questions & Answers

Hi. I am using my mi band 4 without any problem but after MiFit forced update after I clicked mi band 4 in the mifit apps, update failed because my band 4 is in the bathroom while I am in my bed and not place to each other.
While i have mi band 2 when it comes to firmware update and suddenly fail It just reset back to original firmware and won't die.
I didn't even update the mi band 4 it update automatically but suddenly failed after 3 seconds I believe now I have a dead mi band 4.

After failed FW update it reverted to the original FW, or I just got message "connect to Mi Fit and update" on the band. As soon as I opened Mi Fit, FW update procedure started from start and finished fine. What does your band show? Any reaction to touch or charger?

Sorry to hear that, I would try a warranty claim. Doesn't sound like normal situation, even after interrupted FW update (which wasn't your fault anyway).

The problem is they won't claim my warranty as It has a little bit scratch.
Al though I explain to them warranty doesn't mean they've exchange it to a new item unless it's unrepairable.
I explain to them that this is a sportswear which is odd to denied my warranty.

I would read the warranty terms and conditions for your country (or where you purchased the band) and ask the store to follow the rules. It sounds strange to refuse a warranty repair just because of a cosmetic scratch.

[Q] Note 2 Dead? SDS?

Hi Folks,
Stock Note II N-7100 (Received from O2 in October 2012). Had, previously, moved from the O2 branded firmware to stock week I received the phone. No water damage or anything, not dropped, phone has lived in a rubber case since new.
No issues since (v occasional random reboot, monthly maybe?).
Today, mid call, I was dropped, and the phone what I thought was rebooting on me (Samsung Galaxy Note II [white, non animated] logo popped up), but it stayed up, rather than moving through the animated logo to the OS.
Vol-Up + Home + Power won't take me to recovery (Vol-Down + Home + Power will take me to an ODIN flash screen).
Connecting a charger brings up the battery, a 'spinner' appears in that for a second, then freezes, battery icon never changes to the animated charging logo.
Does this sound like SDS? or something else? Is there anything to be done at home to recover? Or is it a hardware fault in which case I'll start the process of tracking down a service centre & dig out an old handset in the mean time.
Thanks all,
Gavin.

Sounds like Half SDS for me(in half SDS you can go only into Download mode) With what version of android was your phone 4.1.2 or 4.1.1 this information will be good for us, sorry for your phone try reflashing it with stock rom with ODIN and if the process fail go to the service center with your warranty but check in Download mod if the Binary count is 0 and everything says Stock, not Custom. Good luck mate.

Thanks,
Can't recall the version, tho I think 4.1.1? Whatever was avail in October. The in-phone thingy kept reporting 'no update' so hadn't moved on to anything further.
Download screen says:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME:
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: No
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
If that's any use (no sign of a counter).

They may remove your warranty for the System status its says custom, have you rooted the phone and from which country are you? You should have updated to 4.1.2 with odin the SDS is kinda fixed even thought there are still people with dead Note 2 with 4.1.2.

Hmm... believe I may have rooted right at the start for a reason related to the flashing a non-O2 ROM, though wasn't running a rooted phone since. I'm UK based.
Assuming ODIN will flash the phone (even if it won't, subsequently, work) would that reset the System status?

Sure I did that way back when.
dont worry about the "custom" part. it is known that SDS changes the status to custom so it doesn't matter at all. Send it to samsung and it should be repaired. then check if it have a new chip or an old one
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Either way, if you're in the EU, rooting does not void warranty unless it can be proven that rooting is the direct cause of the problem.

As someone else said, try flashing a rom in odin before doing anything else. A stock system will reset the status to official. Triangle away is only needed to reset the count and usually doesn't reset the system status anyway.

Sadly, no go, due to lack of a PIT according to Odin.
Called Samsung, mail in with 2 week turn around, or walk in and should have it back in 2 days? Sound about right.
There's a Service Centre 10 mins from my office, so I shall walk it in there, but (rather annoyingly), am on a training course until Friday so I won't get along till then. Excellent timing! Still, walk in ought still be quicker than sending it away.
In the mean time, I have hauled out an old SE Arc S running ICS for the time being. Feels painfully slow & restricted (low memory) compared to the Note2!
Thanks for all your help guys.
So...
Walked the phone into the service centre (CRC - http://www.crclondon.co.uk/repairs/samsungrepairs) on Monday, who told me they'd need to send it up to their Level 3 centre, which would likely be a 7-10 day turn around.
Took a call from them today, claiming that as the phone had been rooted, they couldn't do it under warranty, and it would cost £120 to repair. I rather firmly mentioned the aforementioned EU regulation which, I understood, meant that nevertheless, the repair, unless caused by the root, ought still be covered under warranty. The chap was completely intractable, refused to pass me to a supervisor of any sort for further discussion, so I've told him to have it returned to their office and I would collect ASAP and deal with Samsung directly where I hoped to have a more satisfactory discussion.
Seems like it's likely to be back with them on Friday - I will probably collect on Monday and get it dispatched same day.
Wish I hadn't bothered waiting for the walk in centre now. The Sony Arc S I'm currently using is frustratingly slow by comparison with what I've become used to!
I think you were being too honest.
I got my note2 motherboard replaced last month. and since they coundnt tell whether i had rooted or not and samsung havent officially made any announcement about sds, i told them what i found on the net that the system status shown customs because the nand memory was corrupt and it couldnt read the product name nor system partition thereore it defaulted the system status to be custom.
As a further update, Samsung central help group pretty awful to deal with, and not resulting in a satisfactory resolution.
Was eventually promised a call back, finally got an email 4 days later basically telling me 'whatever our 3rd party service centre told you we will stand by, if you collect & send to us, we'll lookup their response and use that in communication with you..' 'If you want to challenge their assertion, you'll need to source a report from an independent assessor.'
So, from all this - Ultimately, I need the phone back in a reasonable timeframe, so I've asked the 3rd party service centre to effect the repair, and I'll pay their £120 bill. I have also told them that I want whatever components they replace (I'm told likely motherboard), and copies of their full engineers report containing details of the fault found, diagnosis of cause, and resolution steps - returned to me along with the device so that I retain any evidence I require for further discussions (getting them to agree to this was an awful task, as they initially quoted various recycling regulations).
Once it's back in hand, I'll then revert to Samsung again, and work my way up through the escalation queue.
Next phone, I suspect, won't be a Samsung device. Maybe Nexus.
Fun fun fun...

LG G4 stuck in bootloop

Hi XDA,
This morning I was just browsing Reddit when my phone suddenly shut down. When I tried to restart it I found that it was stuck in a bootloop.
I can only seem to get into download mode. Hard reset just doesn't seem to be working. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, maybe it's broken, I'm not sure. I was running the low effort root, and hadn't modified anything recently. Using the 2014 flash tool just gives me a "Connection to server failed. Try again in a moment" error.
Does anyone have any idea how I can fix it?
Edit:
THE ONLY KNOWN FIX IS TO RMA AND THERE DOES NOT SEEM TO BE A WAY TO RECOVER YOUR DATA
For some more information, the issue appears to be purely hardware based, and based on this thread seems to have primarily occured in the last months. Our phones randomly died during regular usage, then most users reported that rebooting it showed the "optimizing apps" thing (I personally did not see this) and then it rebooted again and went into a bootloop. Reinstalling the software often succeeds but doesn't actually fix anything, as your phone will just start looping again (still worth a try though, maybe you have some other unfortunate issue?). I myself and multiple users have tried the following things (text stolen from @dentralp because he wrote it up in such a good way):
Attempted Fixes:
1) Tried using LG bridge
-it says its updating to marshmallow (succeeds)
-then sits at LG boot screen without looping
2) Flashtool 2014 - Europe OPEN H81510D.kdz
-said that it couldn't connect to server
-clicked ok
-clicked retry
-says S/W update in progress
-stopped due to an error
-This is on my main PC, had issues with Flashtool before, will check on my laptop and feed back
-Fails on 9%
3) LGUP
-Only see's my device when I enter download mode
-Says my device is unknown so won't do anything with it
-Restarted Computer
-Wants a .tot not .kdz, contrary to the guide posted - out my depth, whats the difference between a kdz and a tot?
-Click on upgrade
-Chose Europe OPEN H81510D.kdz
-Close and reopen LGUP
-Making sure Refurbish is chosen (kdz should still be active file)
-Click Start
-80% Reboots, Reboots, reboots, reboots...
-100% "Click here to continue" on computer
-Reboot
-Bootloop
4) Longshot
-now I assume that I'm back on lp, moving back to step 2 Flashtool 2014
-Connection to server failed
-ignored
-seconds later it starts flashing
-Bootloop
5) LGUP
-Same as 3 above, but with MM H81520a_00.kdz
-Complete
-Bootloop
-repeated to go back to Europe OPEN H81510D.kdz
edit 26-1-2016
LG finally recognized the issue. They state that the problem is a loose connector. Article here: http://www.androidauthority.com/lg-admits-g4-bootloop-problem-hardware-fault-669603/
As far as I can tell, the issue is not restricted to certain phones, but primarily phones with serial 505xxxxxxxxxxx appear to be victim to this.
UPDATE: PEOPLE ARE CLAIMING THERE IS A WAY TO SAVE YOUR DATA
People are claiming that you can save your phone and recover your data by disabling the Big core. This means disabling everything that makes your phone fast. It may be a good way to recover your data if it's critical, but I would not recommend it as a real permanent fix, since it does make your phone a lot slower (a phone has 4 little cores and 4 big cores, the little ones are very energy efficient but slow, and the big cores are fast but not efficient). I don't have a clue whether this voids your warranty or not, and I've not seen many people confirm that it's working either, but it's worth a try! More information on the comment by gabriel713281 here and in the reddit thread here.

When you get the ''connection to server failed'' error, just wait. it actually flashes but for some reason you get that error.
Hey, same thing happened to me. Went to my carrier the day after because I have warranty there. It ended up in them replacing the circuit board, now my phone wasn't rooted but it was in a bootloop and it just wouldn't start. We may not have the same problem but it could be so.

How long would I have to wait? After how long would I have known that it did actually fail? Or should I just leave it for a while and guess? If I remember correctly it actually reset the installing percentage as well, but don't quote me on that quite yet (I'll try again overnight or tomorrow morning).

Everyone with bootloop please write down model, operator and more importantly the initial three digits of their serial number (or production date from "Lg phone from" app in play store)

H815EU - unlocked bootloader / TWRP / Root
Last Update: 10/03/2015 - END OF THE SAGA
Solution 1 (Clean Software): RMA to LG or place of purchase
Solution 2 (Modified Software - within 6 months - UK): Return to retailer
Solution 3 (Modified Software - UK): Return to LG
Solution 4 (Modified Software - after 6 months): Find some paper to weigh down
Solution 5 (General): Don't buy LG's Hardware - quality control is questionable at best
The Journey
Although some people have reported getting some functionality back, no such luck for myself and majority of others.
What I didn't try
-Flashing MM20b - any method
-Flashing MM20c - any method
in fact, not even checked that they exists (no phone, lg has it!)

Agent "Do you know its gone to the out of warranty repair centre.."
Me "Yes, I was told that it was so busy that they had to but I would get same quality repair"
I am hoping this isn't because of an unlocked bootloader, especially with the issue being duff hardware. Although this hasn't even been mentioned so far.... Starting to worry now. My house is full of LG electronics but I might not be using them again... !

After 3 months saying the same thing and not leaving them alone, raising complaints about there complaints handling, contacting the Citezins advice, contacting which and reminding my carrier that;
the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (amended) protects me in this case OUTSIDE manufacturer warranty and that you are not only liable but have a legal responsibility due to the goods being of unsatisfactory quality and unfit for purpose.

Solution 3
It seems that if you refuse to let them bully you and you remind them of the text on THEIR OWN website;
Once your phone is unlocked, it will no longer be covered by LG warranty.
As we cannot guarantee the proper operation of our hardware with custom software, we are not able to maintain the full scope of warranty for your device after you have unlocked the bootloader.
Because of that we have a responsibility to let you know that defects which may result from, or were caused by custom device-software may not be covered by LG warranty.

That they eventually offer to fix your phone;
Ok, here goes.
1) SBE suck major ass - don't even try to talk to them
2) NEVER stop emailing, if they say the case is closed, open a new one while copying in your old one (both to the same cic email, but nevermind it harasses them)
3) Remember, YOU ARE in the right, articulate it.
4) If you unlocked with their bootloader, you did so by the terms on their website. When doing so it DID NOT warn you that you would lose warranty for pre existing hardware faults, only that failure due to SOFTWARE may break warranty. With this your warranty is in fact 100% in tact and as warranty is a legal intent they are obliged to fix your phone. If you had been warned that warranty would IN FACT be broken, even for unrelated issues, you would never have unlocked the bootloader. The FACT remains that LG is not acting upon ITS OWN guidance, this is a PRE EXISTING issue and they MUST fix or replace. - I have NO legal experience, but I know companies will try to fob you off to make you back down. If you are in the right, keep at them, bring in more people to the mix, make life AS HARD as possible for them.
5) Word it better than I did in my emails below, I was a little bit annoyed writing them and they were often drafted on a Lumia 930
6) This is the end of a back and forth and what I personally believe turned the tide;
These emails are from the email thread, therefore read them the BOTTOM ONE FIRST
Me,
After lengthy discussions with our upper management team and senior technician we have decided to repair the boot loop issue on your device as a gesture of goodwill. Please note that this offer is for the boot loop issue only and you handset will not carry any further warranty with LG after the repair is complete.
If you wish to accept this offer please reply with the date (Mon-Fri) and the UK address (we currently have [address] on your file) that you would like the phone collecting from and I would be happy to arrange this for you.

No you haven’t, you entirely ignored my email again. Please explain the excerpts from your website, I will include the full quote;

Your quote is from a title, the contents and description of the terms are then spoken about in the section below it. You are referencing my reference cylindrically and it only enforces my point.
If you can’t answer the simple questions I would like you to put me on to someone who can.
Also, define developer. My bsc hons is in computing and I have worked with Linux since redhat. I fully understand hardware and software and for one effects the other which is why i am so upset about the crap hardware you made.

Dear Mr ME,
In answer to your question regarding the official LG website which allowed you to unlock your device, it clearly states at the top of the page “"Once your phone is unlocked, it will no longer be covered by LG warranty". As you can see this statement is very clear and there are no stipulations or exemptions to this rule. Just to clarify when we say “it will no longer be covered by LG warranty" this means for any and all faults including faults that are unrelated to the bootloader being unlocked.
It also clearly states at the top of the page "Please be advised that this feature is intended for developers only" therefore if you are not a developer you have ignored a clear warning which is there for your own protection.
I hope I have clearly explained our position to you and the matter can now be closed. I understand that you are disappointed with our decision and am genuinely sorry that we have not been able to come to a more mutually agreeable conclusion.
Kind regards

I appreciate that but you have entirely ignored my last email and the wording of your own website.
Please comment in reference to the quotes from your website.
If these are indeed wrong on therefore misleading they need removing from YOUR website.
As you can see, I followed a process provided by LG. Any issue that arose was not in relation to this and therefore by the wording of your own website, your own process, my warranty is IN FACT still in tact.
If you can't answer my questions I would like this escalated to someone who can.

Dear mE,
I am sorry to hear of the problems you have experienced with your G4 and for any inconvenience caused. Whilst I do appreciate your comments and the disappointment caused by our decision I feel I have explained the reasons behind our decision at length on several occasions and as such I am not able to offer you any further assistance.
Please note that we at LG take all complaints very seriously and also accept that mistakes will be made and that we will occasionally fall below our service standards. Therefore your feedback is very important to us. This allows LG to identify areas to make further improvements to our services. Your complaint has been officially logged.
Kind regards

You should chose your words more wisely.
"unauthorised alterations "
The alterations were not unauthorised, in fact, they were enabled by LGE and was only possible due to LGE emailing me with an unlocked bootloader to flash.
http://developer.lge.com/resource/mobile/RetrieveBootloader.dev?categoryTypeCode=ANRS
"As we cannot guarantee the proper operation of our hardware with custom software, we are not able to maintain the full scope of warranty for your device after you have unlocked the bootloader.
Because of that we have a responsibility to let you know that defects which may result from, or were caused by custom device-software may not be covered by LG warranty."
THIS WAS NOT A DEFECT THAT RESULTED FROM CUSTOM DEVICE SOFTWARE.
Wording - MAY NOT BE COVERED BY LG WARRANTY.
This clearly leaves open that some warranty would be honoured, like catastrophic failure in the manufacture process. This clearly suggested that my hardware warranty is in fact in tact.
YOU provided me with a way to unlock my phone
YOU provided me with the software to do so
YOU provided the disclaimer leaving open the question about warranty
"LG will not be responsible for the damages caused by any custom software being flashed to your phone."
Custom software DID NOT cause damage to my phone
IF YOUR DISCLAIMER HAD STATED OUT RIGHT THAT AN UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER WOULD FULLY VOID WARRANTY I WOULDNT HAVE DONE IT. AS IT HAPPENS, NOTHING RELATED TO THE UNLOCK BROKE MY PHONE. YOUR MANUFACTURING DID.
Please read your OWN disclaimers, I 100% find YOU at fault for this.
It is only reasonable that you fix my phone - based on;

H815EU - unlocked bootloader / TWRP / Root
Last Update: 14/01/2015 - LG refused warranty repair due to the device being rooted
Solution (Clean Software): RMA to LG or place of purchase
Solution (Modified Software): Find some paper to weigh down
Solution (General): Don't buy LG's Hardware - quality control is questionable at best
Although some people have reported getting some functionality back, no such luck for myself and majority of others.
What I didn't try;
-Flashing MM20b - any method
-Flashing MM20c - any method
in fact, not even checked that they exists (no phone, lg has it!)
Don't think it was about when I was trying to recover (?) - I also highly doubt that flashing these will help you

Turns out LG are that busy with returned phones at the moment, warranty repairs are being sent to none warranty repair centres - mine is at SV (?) - This is why they couldn't find my phone. Make sure that you take down your imei number before you send it off, seems this is how they track phones internally, not by your reference number. I am assured that SV (?) are going to do a fantastic job and I should get my phone back next Monday.

LG haven't had an update from the repair centre... they are chasing it and will get back to me by Weds/Thursday.
Interesting part of the conversation, the person on the phone had said to me
Agent "Do you know its gone to the out of warranty repair centre.."

Very nice post and that sounds logical. I think that the update would be the issue? I did have updates turned off though. I would like to add that I did also manage to get in hard reset mode or whatever that is called, but it just gave a black screen for a minute, then the LG logo, then the android installation icon thing, then went back to a bootloop.
Edit: I live in Holland, so the update would be rolled out in all of Europe probably?
Model: LG VS986LD
Carrier: Verizon
First three of serial: 506
I have flashed the correct KDZ multiple times and it has processed correctly in both LGUP & Flashtool 2014, but after still bootloops. I have done a factory reset from recovery and issue still occurs. Original Bootloop occur out of no where, no recent (5ish days) changes were made.
Hey, This is a BIG problem.
In my country (Thailand), sales model is H818P Dual-sim.
but Something wrong.
almost H818P with s/n 505xxxxxxxxxxx GOT THIS BOOTLOOP in DAILY!! since October after V10f firmware update.
(other s/n get this too. but very fewer than 505xxxxxxxx and most of all bootloop was used G4 for 3-6 month)
It's not software problem, it's a HARDWARE problem. Can't flash KDZ. still BOOTLOOP
Until today, It's about 2-300 user in Thailand ever get bootloop and almost of them is normal user not advance user. They only update via OTA no flash tool, no root, and no any modify. use as normal daily life. camera, social, call, game, even in sleep time. This booloop can be found anytime.
However, LGE Thailand had release 2 announcements about this in this month. but nothing. They only told user can get free mainboard replacement. FOR WHAT??? We have waruntee for 18 months.
IF LG DOESN'T DO SOMETHING BETTER THAN WAIT FOR BOOTLOOP AND GIVE A REPLACEMENT. MAY BE NEXT PHONE OF LG FANBOY IN THAILANG WILL NOT A "LG" BRAND EVEN LG SERVICE IS A BEST SERVICE IN THAILAND.
Sorry for my ENG.
This is a common occurance with G4. In Korea, MM update was pulled by LG for a while b/c it was causing HARDWARE failure! ONLY FIX was to switch out the board. The Korean forums were full of people complaining of this issue. Most common was surfing the net would cause the phone to reboot, then boot loop. In Korea, you can go to a service center, show them your phone, and the board will be replaced in less than an hour. Other common problems are screen ghosting, screen burn in, touch screen lagging...ect. People seems to have accepted the fact that if a G4 malfunctions, the most likey fix will be switching out the board. Luckly my G4 has been working fine since the day one, but I haven't updated to MM. I never update to a new OS when it first comes out. I've had my bad experiences with bugs and incompatible apps and what not whenever a new OS comes out. I think of them as somewhere between alpha and beta. never mind the code change that blocks some mods.
Sorry, I digress. Other people have reported similar symptoms, even if they didn't update to MM. They also say, the launch day released version of the phone ususally has this problem.

Plz help - New Z2 Plus - Running on 2.0.093 6.0.1 Aug 2016 - Not getting any update

I bought a new Lenovo Z2 plus (4GB 64 GB) version. It is running on build 2.0.093 Android 6.0.1 Aug 2016 Security patch out of box and I know there are two major updates after this but my device is not detecting any OTA updates. System updater software shows - "No Updates available. Refresh" (Tried many times since yesterday). And on that screen itself on clicking "Release Details", the following error is shown: "Failed to access release information server, please refresh again"
My friend also bought the same phone and immediately got the updates.
Is this an issue with my handset or do I need to wait further to get the updates?
Are the Lenovo servers for OTA updates down?
Why are release details not accessible?
Trying for 3rd day today. No updates. Bit concerned.
I will eventually install custom rom and do some experiments but want to use with stock rom for some days to check if any hardware issues are there or not.
Shall I return the phone or keep?

How does not getting OTA updates makes the device defective?
I got it in a special deal and not willing to return. Already replaced once as the previous one was reboxed unit and without proper bill. This one seems new. What defect did your friend's phone had?

Let me answer this question... This device is a new purchase. It has got Android 6 out of box and has volte issues with JIO sim...and the update which is failing to install contains a fix for that (here we are still not talking about android 7 upgrade).
Another Major issue is when we check warranty status, it says warranty expired.
So let us say if u have a software issue on your phone that is irritating and you take it to a service center, the first thing they do is ask you to update (if not done already) to latest version...thats what we are asking. Today just got an email from Amazon since the inspection guy didn't turn up , they are replacing my phone now.

None of these show device is defective. For warranty how will lenovo know when you bought the device. Send a mail to [email protected] with invoice and back side image of box and they will update warranty details in 3 days.
Getting the update immediately means most likely this device is not new and you got a reboxed unit. Check on Lenovo forums, many have confirmed that it takes a few days to get the updates after booting the device for first time

Okay, I forgot to tell you this part. I went along with him to the service store and people there wanted to heat up the battery and sh*t. I don't know how that could've helped but we agreed to let them do so, but the updates still failed. Later they checked the warranty and it wasn't updated on the official Lenovo site. So yeah, the technician turned up after we called Amazon and he specifically said "The device is defective". We didn't bother asking because we were getting a replacement.
Good that you're getting a replacement. Enjoy. And do check the warranty of the replacement. Cheers!

Also, when you say "if your IP is India registered" what do you mean? Registered where? Using Shanghai server with VPN will use China ip only right?

Question Motherboard replaced and different smartphone model! HELP

hi guys, I recently sent my Xiaomi MI 11 Lite 5G NE to repair for a problem with the mobile networks ... Picked up yesterday and everything works fine.
Tonight I was tweaking a bit in the settings and I realized that the model in the phone info does not match the one printed on the back of the phone!
On the back of the phone is printed 'Model: 2109119DG' and in the settings 'M2101K9G'... which corresponds to the Xiaomi MI 11 Lite ... NOT NE!
Another thing ... Checking with AIDA64 also the processor turns out to be that of the Xiaomi MI 11 Lite 5G not NE ...
Could it be because they installed a wrong motherboard? I'm going to the store tomorrow but I wanted to Hear your opinion.
Thanks a lot..
Yes, they probably replaced the motherboard with the non-NE one. You're kinda lucky and unlucky at the same time lol. The NE is a bit inferior to the Mi 11 Lite 5G, but the NE is the one widely available.

Thanks for the answer ... What would you do? I think I will send it back to repair .. again
mmm... Are you sure they just changed the motherboard? Maybe they just replaced your phone totally.
Did you check the IMEI numbers?
I was also following you regarding the mobile data issue, if the issue is gone and you don't have any issue with this non-NE mobile, I would keep it.
As your messages are from last week, just tell us what you decide and if mobile data issues are totally gone.
Thanks!
Hi Raulci ... Yes, the phone now works perfectly, I also noticed that the proximity sensor has improved. I am sure that the motherboard has been changed and not the phone cause as I said in the post, on the back of the phone is engraved the model corresponding to NE, and in the phone settings the model corresponds to non-NE (like the processor etc...). I'm pretty sure they installed a "wrong" motherboard. I went back to the shop and they told me that that is the motherboard that Xiaomi sent and they can't do anything about it. I wrote to Xiaomi assistance and they told me after some checks it turns out that the motherboard is original and correct for my model ... I know it's not a problem but this is not the way I like to work, unfortunately this is definitely the first and last experience with Xiaomi...

Sorry for the double post i can't delete the First One
Very very strange case... It's clear that the motherboard is for renoir, not lisa, but Xiaomi says it's correct, it makes no sense! Very weird.
Fortunately, I think you were lucky. Now problems are gone with your phone.
Be careful if you update MIUI manually, you should use Lisa or renoir rom? Better do it by OTA.
Thanks for your feedback.
You are lucky getting an free upgrade to 780G, which is equal to 855+
Thats strange. Its must be that xiaomi knows that they have messed up with wrong motherboard for 11 lite ne 5g with bad modems, not able to deliver performance, so this is their way of solving problems.
But any such act should be informed. User should be aware before replacement.

Say what do, do what you say... those reps need to learn some business ethics.
The OP could demand a full refund.
That's basically theft by deception.
If the substituted mobo puts you in a better position then go with it.
Dude you are literally getting a free upgrade, 778G to 780G. You should keep it.

phone phone turns on only for half a second then dies

I tried to flash a rom and firmware on my phone (redmi note 9 pro miatoll) but i think i flashed the wrong firmware and now the phone will only turn on for half a second i hope its not hardbricked and sorry for my bad english
I think the problem may not just be your phone's software, but the phone itself. It's better to give it to a repair shop, they will tell you exactly what to do with it.
