I have not yet attempted to boot TWRP or root. I recently went back to stock as I was unable to use miracast which really made me angry. I want to confirm miracast works with root on PIE before I do so. I use Microsoft Display Adapter to cast in my car.

Boot Loop with TWRP

So I rooted my D850 the other day, and flashed the TWRP recovery. However, I didn't load any ROM's, I'm stuck on stock 4.2.2. This morning when I awoke, it was at the TWRP screen (I have no idea how), and when I go to Reboot it takes me back to TWRP.
Any ideas? I think I may have somehow gotten the OTA update potentially? Because it was prompting me for it. But I never hit yes.

Happened to me last night too. Follow those instructions and that will fix the issue.
The update did not install for me, twrp blocked it.
I plan on installing the update from the pre-rooted ROM here....

No problem. If you don't mind doing a bit of work you should go ahead and install the ROM I linked. I just installed it myself and it works wonderfully. It fixed a few issues I had as well.
Great post
Thanks Guys that info got my LG g3 D85010d going again.

Nougat 7.1.1 is rolling out!

Hey everyone, been a little while, but 7.1.1 N is rolling out to you guys.
Awesome! Is this the same 108 build that went out to beta testers?
Does it include the battery optimization that was mentioned some time ago?

No, I relocked it after I flashed the image and turned off the oem unlocking option after. I was previously rooted though, but the script on the image should have taken care of that right?

I figured it out, I had just came from Omni Rom. For some reason, I had to flash the 6.0 image then flash the 7.1.1 image and now everything passes, and AP works.

Is anybody having issues with sending text messages (your standard text message) with WiFi on? Not over WiFi, but just with WiFi on. I tried the default messaging app and the Google one. They both work the same. For me to get a text message out, I have to turn off WiFi.

Why don't you flash the latest factory image?
You can't flash an OTA update via custom recovery.
Loving this new update!
However, if you want to save resources and please your customers at the same time when doing the next update -
skip the nextbit bits.
Just make the next updates (if you plan on making any more of course) stock, for all intents and purposes, except perhaps for the backup/cloud feature.
revert back to 7.0 ?
since i updated to 7.1.1, my pebble 2 would constantly disconnect.

Play Store FC trying to buy app

Okay I have two pixels. One with magisk and one running SuperSU with suhide, both pass safety net. Both on Oreo. I'm trying to buy a substratum theme in the Play Store everytime I enter my password to buy it if force closes on either phone. Anyone else have this issue I imagine it still detects the root, but I'm not sure I was hoping somebody new a workaround. Both pixels are on Android o.
Edit. I did try clearing cache and data. I am certified

I have this same issue. However, I am stock unrooted. Somebody in the Pixel forum was having the same issue. His problem was solved by reflashing the full Oreo image. A factory reset did not fix it. I'm planning to reflash the Oreo image to both partitions tomorrow to see if it fixes the problem.

WARNING: I am no expert but since you threw a challenge, I can not resist.
Install TWRP latest official, wipe system, data (if possible internal storage also), Dalvic and cache. Flash OOS 5.0.6, no Magisk or any other apps. Boot and check. You would have lost TWRP but if everything is ok, it can be flashed later.

Do not wipe system image, only system! Or just use the Factory reset option in TWRP instead of selecting any partitons manually.

Use the Mega Unbrick Guide Method 2. Follow the instructions meticulously, don't skip any step. Boot into OOS 3.x.x and check. If everything is working, don't upgrade or flash any other ROM including OOS immediately. Hopefully, your issue should be solved.

After booting up in 4.0.2, connect ear/head phones and check whether they work. If they do, then it is not a ROM/software problem. By speaker do you mean the earpiece or the regular speaker of the phone?
Have you checked the mic and speaker ports for possible blocks?
I am running out of ideas.

Final attempt: check the headphone/earphone port since normally when you plug them in, the built-in mic and speaker connections are disabled. Your device's port may be stuck in that position.

About to Unlock Bootlader

I'm on the latest Pie Stable 10.3.1 and wanted to know what to do first after unlocking my bootloader, since my unlock timer runs out in 5 hours. I want to go for an AOSP based Rom and I'm unsure if I'm allowed to wipe the internal storage or not, since I read somewhere that I should never wipe the internal storage.

When you unlock the bootloader your internal storage will be wiped anyway, so do backup everything before unlocking.
As for doing it on your own later, there is no harm wipping it, if that's what your concern is, and it should keep the encryption, unless you format the /data partition.
Anyway, if I'm mistaken somebody correct me please. Also do try to find tutorial in Guides & News section, just to be sure.

There is a thread over here "unlock bootloader without wiping storage" not the exact name but something like that. I read over there which says if you let your mobile boot after unlocking bootloader, all of your data will be wiped. But if you follow the instructions given in that thread you might save your data. Just search for that thread. I am gonna send u the link if u can't find.
I asked since the Guy who provided an all in one unlock and root Guide, mentioned that internal storage Thing.

I installed the Android 10 Q DP4 Rom, was a bit buggy at first but since I know what's causing the bugs, I just avoid them. Stable enough for daily use for me now and smooth as butter. I just shouldn't turn on Dark Mode, or phone will be non responsive while trying to wake the phone up. I will tell about battery life within the next few days.
