Anyone have any luck getting this to work? I don't even see an option on my phone to turn it on.
It really is strange. So I received my black unlocked Sprint LG G8 and on this one I have the Sprint boot screen, but I have the Volte enable option. Doesn't make any sense to me.

I am 100% sure my service provider supports volte, but i do not find it in my phone. I tried phone setting and pull down menu, but no luck.
Is it the firmware? I have H815 (single SIM)

International version doesn't have this option. In fact, I think only the TMO variant has it. Of course, I could be wrong.
Look at the 3rd screen; there is a VoLTE on/off setting

You're right, 11 months later I now know the Taiwanese H815 doesn't support VoLTE, it's only CSFB per official LG spec:

Is there any way this could be turned off?
I would like to disable CSFB, is this a hardware thing that cannot be disabled or can i do some code change in build prop to make this work?
Note: i have already enabled VOLTE and VOWIFI through build prop but still the CSFB takes priority to this.

Hie Guys first of all i wanna thank u all for sharing ur valuable suggestions with other which cud b life saving for many.Actually i am using lg d855 32gb 4g in India it does not support volte function in indian band so is there any way to turn my g3 into volte

I have the same problem and I have searched everywhere to find a solution. I don't think you can enable it by yourself. The phone requires an update by LG to support VoLTE with Indian carriers.

This must be for JIO. I havent tried but have same device D855 32GB Not sure this will work. this is same as suggested for Tmobile too. Site says it has VoLTE RCS http://www.lg.com/in/mobile-phones/lg-G3-D855-32-GB but JIO supports LG G4 onwards. Maybe this will work.
There is a hidden menu. Am on Android 6 so dont know about 5. I see Airtel dropping to H when I call. Tried this and it stayed in 4G but call did not go through. So looks like it tried VoLTE and it did not work. Airplane mode ON and OFF got me back

go to Modem Protocol in that list
Select VoLTE Radio NV On/Off and set it ON. Device will reboot. {This is where I lost my ability to make calls on Airtel. But data worked fine}
Tell me if it works on JIO. Also I am not sure they would give the free SIM with G3. Anyway try ur luck

Nope... its not working.... calls going blank when VoLTE Radio on from hidden menu... no solution I think for us from LG...
We can just make HD calls over LTE using Reliance's its own app called JioOnline which calls over data using LTE.
I heard the SIM is per IMEI code. Is that fine ? As again http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/fea...les-that-will-work-on-the-jio-network-1454171 says it should work.

Hi guys, ive searched the whole internet well maybe close to it, and i cant imagine im the only verizon customer that cant get VOLTE to work on S9 qualcom USA?
Background:
Bought a used unlocked ATT phone > flashed to U1 > Flashed to verizon but problems:
It shows xaa.xaa.att
and has verizon apps but no VOLTE option and does not work in practice either?
Any advise how I could get volte to work its really the only thing i care about beside basic phone functions.

Hello, could anyone please give a method to enable VoLTE on the G7TM? Mine has stopped working on my AT&T MVNO carrier and I want to keep using it! It seems to be hidden in the menus. I tried going into the universal enabler in the service menu but it didn't give the VoLTE option in the settings, the youtube video I was following was showing a standard OS G7 I believe and not a T-Mobile variant. Thanks for any help,
