Is the Note10+/512GB/Dual Sim/Aura Glow real? - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

I have my heart set on a Note 10+/512GB/Dual Sim with Aura Glow color but it's not available in the US market.
I'm seeing a few international sites selling this exact configuration. Does anyone know if they're legit?

You won't find dual sim models built/sold specifically for the US market, so you might have to source them internationally. GL!

Yes. AFAIK eBay (via never-msrp and a couple other sellers) and Wonda Mobile have both the N975F/DS (Exynos) and the N9750/DS (HK/LA/Brazil Snapdragon) in the exact color and storage config you want. I'm also planning on getting this phone (the Snapdragon Dual Sim version) for use in the US.

the UK 4G version is dual sim direct from samsung, as soon as you go up to 5G it goes single sim. guessing they aren't yet capable of running dual 5G modems or the price is too high.

@sansnil, exactly the variant that you are looking for. It does exist - https://youtu.be/Brhjl8InyN8

Or there is one and frequency selection is software dependent?
best deal at gearbest
You can buy at gearbest with 12 months warranty versus 6 months for less money, 164 euros with promo code "CellPhones8"
Hope it helps
I am a little confused here.
Both TD and gear best carry the 1 pro. Gearbest shows that the phone has band 7 (2600) and until today, tiny reflected that as well.
6 days after ordering from tinydeal, I have received an email from them stating the phone does NOT support band 7. Every other seller and device specification site says bands 3&7 are supported.
Finding official documentation has been a bit of a daunting task.
Advice, anyone?
I'm kind of confused about the phone, too. There seem to be three models floating around in stores, a regular one with bands B1/B3/B7/B38/B39/B40/B41, one with B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B12/B17/B25/B26, and an International one with different bands listed as well. Yet the manufacturer only seems to list the B1/3/7/38/39/40/41 model. Is this true? Does the second model I listed with B2/4/5/17 have full AT&T LTE support in the US?
Im really not sure. Too many conflicting reports. I think I'm going to cancel my order in the morning. I asked about the bands on the official tech support Le forum, and they referred me to their Hong Kong forum while completely dodging the question.
Update: A forum moderator sent me to the 'official' sales site here: http://cn.lemall.com/le_1pro/parameter.html
Three variants listed. All three have the same FDD-LTE bands of 1/3/7
In today's email from tinydeal they told I that the phone ordered supports B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B12/B17/B25/B26.
I'm kinda torn now.. at under $200 it's not a huge risk.. But I'm already kinda tired of dealing with the crap of finding just the basics on this device. How much harder will it be when I have it in hand and need to do something more advanced?

I just received mine from Coolicool today. Popped in my Cricket sim card and LTE Discovery lists me as being connected to Band 17 right now. This must be an updated model, as it appears that the newly listed bands are correct. Maybe this is a sign that they're actually moving forward with releasing the phone in the US? If anyone suspects that LTE Discovery might be wrong, please point me to a better utility.
For the record, I purchased mine from Coolicool. As of today, all of the other models have been removed (the two with the different bands listed and the international version) and this is the sole model up for sale. It won't allow me to post a link because I'm new here, but it's the featured product on the upper right side of the screen.

The option is missing from the first menu. The second menu says CDMA and has a box you can check. I have no way of knowing what it did or if it works, as I don't live in an area that using Band 20. All I know is that I'm definitely getting Band 2 and 17, which haven't been available up until this new batch started shipping out apparently. The specs on the site I bought from specifically says no Band 20 support, so I'm guessing this doesn't work.

I cancelled the order, ordered another from gearbest that did indeed work on bands 3&7 ( 7 being the important one for me - Free mobile in central France). Sold it after a couple days because the phone was just too damned big and the software was a mess.
Actually thinking of buying another one as a spare. My Nexus 5 did something wonky yesterday and I don't want to have it fail and get caught in a situation where I don't have a phone.

No, I decided not to order another one. I thought I could get past my dislike of 5.5 inch phones, but just too big for daily use for me. 5.2 inch seems to be the sweet spot, so that's where I'm focusing my attention at the moment - though that is presenting it's own set of challenges.
I'm using a nexus 5 at the moment. I would like a little better battery life and a little larger screen, but I'm not dying for a new phone at the moment.
If I do find myself in a spot where I have to replace my phone and I can't find a 5.2 inch that checks all the boxes (big one being budget), I'll probably just stick with a 5 inch phone.
Right now the top two are the xiaomi mi4c and the huawei p8.
I would rather go with an Mi5 or P9 but they're out of my price range.

I don't think an official international version exists. At least thas what I gathered from talking to some LeTv support people on their forums. Everything sold outside of HK/China and India is considered gray market, as far as I can tell.

Unlocked US or wait for International unlocked?

Hi all
In the past I’ve had to buy international variants for the best possible coverage when traveling. Even the US unlocked did not cover as much as their international unlocked counterparts.
I spend a lot of my time overseas so I’m willing to have less then ideal coverage in the united states.
I’ve tried to look up information on the bands but so far have not had much look comparing to see if I should preorder the s20 ultra unlocked in the states or just wait until I go abroad and purchase the international version in a few months when I leave again. Even if I don’t get the deals on preorder.
Which would really be a downer if there isn’t a difference and I could buy it now with all the perks of the promos.
Can anyone enlighten me on if the unlocked US version or international unlocked variant would be more suited to travel outside the States?
Or is their a difference this time?
Thanks!
I have this same question, but here is my dilemma....
The US version work have a snapdragon and a $200 credit at samsung's website for pre-orders but the international version with have the ability to be rooted. Now i have the oneplus 7 pro, with root, i am able to force 90hz refresh rate on ALL apps. If i can root the s20 ultra, i can swap in a kernel that allows 120hz at qhd on alll apps, which is pure gold in itself.
the Kong kong and Latina american variants historically have been snapdragon AND rootable so you can have the better processor wnd root.
that said there has also not been a ton of development for those particular variants which i mever understood since your getting the best of both worlds
I'm in the same boat. My current GS8+ is international variant specifically because of dual sim and root.
I'm conflicted with all the international versions not getting things like 5G vs international. I pre-ordered, I still can cancel my order...
What's the likelihood that US Unlocked version can be rooted within few months? Anyone know if they're adding additional locks to it?

It is my understanding that traditionally, US unlocked version is SiM unlocked but bootloader locked. Therefore, the likelyhood that it will be rootable in a few months will be the same as with other recent phones, next to zero.

Viper4android!
very hard choice
- Snapdragon 865 is more power efficient and more powerful ( 10 % against exynos SOC)
but forget root
- Outside US 5G networks aver very very limited
- The exynos will receive more updates
- US version has only one card sim slot

so i'm struggling with the choice too, either the SA (latin american snapdragon) or exynos .
I don't really care about development beyond TWRP and Root , not sure what to do
From what I have seen there are also various versions of the international unlocked, some are dual sim and some ha e different bands (with or without 5G).

what about the "N" Korean version? is it rootable? im debating whether to get the international one or the korean version. I want to be rooted with viper4android
yes it should be its exynos.
Korean/ international basically the same thing hardware other than possibly being capable of different network frequencies.
you cannot cross flash Korean and international firmware however if that matters
ive had lots of both and never had issues with either.

Does anyone have the exact model SM-G988F/DS?

Hi all
I’m trying to find out if this model really exists. I have seen there is a B model that’s dual SIM but this F/DS version turned up in the TECHWALLS page (https://www.techwalls.com/samsung-galaxy-s20-ultra-5g-model-number-sm-g988-differences/).
But I can’t seem to confirm if it really exists, or if Occasionally sellers just make a mistake and put F instead of B from time to time.
If someone has it can you take a picture of the side of the box (Jose the IMEIs)? Better still confirm which cellular bands such device has.
Thanks

SM-G988F/DS (Dual-SIM Unlocked) = SM-G988BZADXSP (Cosmic Gray – 128GB Storage) = SM-G988BZKDXSP (Cosmic Black – 128GB Storage)
The processor is an Exynos 990 and the frequencies are for Asia (India/Singapore) which is very close to the US and this is why I was searching for one.

My experience with Samsung Pay and the HK variant is based on the Note 10 - out of the box, Samsung Pay will only work with AmEx in Canada with a dual SIM Snapdragon variant. Google Pay does work without any issues.
One other thing to consider - the HK/China/Taiwan Snapdragon variant does not have the same 5G bands as the Canadian one.
Quick Question. If you change the CSC to enable the e-sim in Canada. Which one do I use to still retain the Samsung pay and VOLTE?

Yes, just saw that... so I am sort of screwed right now with no options but to buy grey. No go as not even VOLTe will work.../samsung pay
Telus might be allowing VoLTE and VoWiFi on unlocked phones... I am so disappointed with VoLTE / WiFi needing to be baked into firmware on Android, what's going to happen when HSPA is retired? Also why was it so hard to begin with, the tower should be the keeper / sender of the related settings.
To enable esim, you must find the firmware from the region & telco that support esim , and you must change the firmware *and* the csc too. changing only one of them will not do.

Xperia 1ii Variants and Regions

Hi all
I've used this website for years off and on but always reading, never commenting (so far as I can rememeber) and I thought this would be the best place to ask a question.
I am going to purchase this phone as it's been a long while since I last bought one (still using the Z5 Premium Dual) and I need to upgrade. I bought my current Z5 from a UK website that specialised in importing HK phones (but they are no longer trading). I have to say I think it's the first Sony release where I believe that they have addressed most of the issues of anything released after mine, and seem to have got it more or less right, plus made advancements in it's features (Photo Pro, Cinema Pro, etc).
But having a dual sim phone for all these years, I really want to buy the dual sim variant, the only problem is I cannot find enough concrete information to establish which variant is the model I need to buy and then, where from?
So far I've looked at all the US retailers and it's not plain to see as some advertise it as dual sim when its single sim hybrid. I've spoken to both Sony in th UK and US and advice is limited as they only really know about their own products. (Also, the US version(s) apparently do not support 5G and I'm not sure if that means their 5G, or that it would work when here straight out of the box or would require flashing. I don't want to spend that kind of money trying to see).
The Japanese versions are different still as they have their own model numbers depending on the carriers or retailers (I think from research) so I've looked at the Hong Kong site and the only version that they seem to sell directly is the single sim hybrid version which is the same as Europe.
Can anyone here please provide any further details of which model is the dual sim plus SD card version (if there is in fact one) and a link to where they found out.
The versions I know (from xperiablog.net) are:
- XQ-AT51 (I believe think is the single sim hydrid version)
- XQ-AT52 (I think this may be a dual sim plus SD card model but not sure)
- XQ-AT72 (I think this may be a dual sim plus SD card model but not sure)
- SO-51A (NTT docomo – Japanese carrier)
- SOG01 (au by KDDI – Japanese carrier)
The difference between the 52 and 72 variants may simply be the name for different regions but I'm sure that one is classed as the dual sim global version, which would be the version to go for. It would be grat to know the differences too.
If anyone can help with the any of the above, I would be extreme;y grateful.
There is also the time element as if I can't get the dual sim for any reason, I'll have to go purchase here and then I might as well take advantage of the pre-order offer of the free headphones.
Many thanks.
D
Confirmed XQ-AT52 is a dual-sim version in Taiwan.
I think most people are importing to the UK from wandamobile:
https://www.wondamobile.com/
They ship from HK so you will get the HK/Taiwan dual sim model (XQ-AT52)
I have listed support 4G and 5G Carrier Aggregation and Dual Connectivity (ENDC) combinations of Global XG-AT51 model: https://cacombos.com/device?model=XQ-AT51
may the XQ-AT72 is the Dual Sim version with 256Gb storage
