I have a Samsung m30 with the latest Android 9 patch. My only issue with this phone is that I can't seem to find how to sync the gallery with Samsung cloud. I've already search a lot about this issue, but I can't seem to find a solution.
There isn't a gallery option under accounts > Samsung cloud. Anybody out there has a solution for this?
Basically, the M30 doesn't have Samsung Cloud (for Gallery Syncing) support. Nor does it have Secure Folder and others samsung functionalities.

Sme problem. Gallery option is not available under Samsung cloud. Or it also says can't sync gallery. Try again later. It synced 515 photos, then dissapeared of the list of items to sync.
It was there briefly after I removed and added my Samsung account. Backing up while roaming has been activated. Cloud cashe has been cleared. Not folders on SD card.

So all of a sudden today my LOG decided to start syncing with Picasa which i was not even aware i had an account for. It only synced a few photos but it will not allow me to delete or hide the albums under the gallery settings. I have already gone under the sync options and my goggle account and turned off the ability for it to sync with Picasa but even after disabling that option and re-syncing the entire account the pictures still will not go away. Can anyone tell me how to remove these? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
This is most likely because you have a Google+ account. If you don't remember uploading any pictures to it, check if instant upload is enabled on your phone. As for deleting the pictures, you'd have to either log in to your Google+/Picasa account online and then delete them form there or download the application and delete them from there. Very inconvenient for sure but that's the way to do it!

I was setting up my Samsung Account and after having done so my phone automatically did an auto sync of all of my photos and videos to what I assume is the Samsung Cloud. If not mistaken this is so that I can use the Samsung AllShare or now i think "Link" to view this content from other devices. Is there a way I can disable this auto sync because I actually do not want all of my photos and video to be viewable from other devices if I happen to connect them?

On my old note 10.1, opening the gallery then clicking on a folder brought the images in the folder up instantaneously.
On the new note, using the same memory card taken from the old note, the whole thing freezes for about 20 seconds before showing the contents of a folder.
Anyone else have this issue??
I would very much suggest turning off Dropbox syncing and Picasa syncing in settings. Especially Dropbox if you have your account setup. It's a bizarrely bad decision for Samsung to ask the Note devices to pull pictures and videos automatically. The Note 3 has the same issue trying to pull in cloud accounts.

The problem described is 'new', i.e., I did not have this problem with my Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 running Jelly Bean.
With my Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 4, not all of my LinkedIn contacts are sync'ing with the Contacts app. Based on reading various posts here, I did the following:
Deleted my LinkedIn connection
Uninstalled the LinkedIn app
Cleared the memory on both Contacts and Contacts Storage
Restarted my phone
Reinstalled LinkedIn and reestablished the connection
Force a sync
According to LinkedIn, I have 1,267 connections, but after the above steps, I only show 1,019 contacts on my phone.
Can someone explain why 248 connections are not sync'ing? More importantly, can someone suggest a means for resolving this problem?

I have activated app-data syncing with my gmail account, but my photos still aren't being synced like they used to before i installed LineageOS.
The gallery app itself does not have any kind of options / settings menu as far as i can see.
It's a hassle to manually upload or share images when i want to share them.
How do i get my photos to sync every time it is on a non-mobile internet connection?
